I didn't realize how powerful Xiangling is in Abyss until I started using Fav on her. It is just so satisfying to find everybody in her team including xiangling burst ready at The end of rotation
i would recommend people new to the game to use favonius on EVERY character. you'll be aiming for that level of comfort for the rest of the game while slowly subbing fav for other weapons on some characters for more damage. this current weapon banner was a beginner's gold mine.
@@HappyPepe5the catch is still xiangling's bis f2p weapon, it's just that fav, while leading to less damage if you already have enough energy recharge on xiangling, leads to more comfort AND reduces er requirements for the whole team. if your xiangling is good enough without the catch and you struggle with energy/just want more comfort, you can go with favonius if you want to
My XL build just has a lot of ER substats, about the same crit ratio but just a little bit more ER sitting at 220 w/ catch. Never been too comfortable playing a team with thrilling tales because I always mess up the rotation order and buff the wrong unit. I sorta want to try it out now because my xiangling pretty much only hits 35ks that 50k looked sweet.
Xiangling needs a new outfit, I like her, but everyone seems to dislike her cause she's so powerful. I feel like if she had more screentime and a new outfit she would be better received.

hmm. while video is fine I think the standard build Beny on instructor, Xl catch is much more better. instructor will help also Furina vapes. and have bigger impact on XL Regarding catch - 12% crit rate + 32% burst dmg is no joke. its better to have Beny/Kazuha on Fav or in most cases use 3 Beny skills to battery XL. difference between skyward and fav is 150 att x 1.3 = 180 att + 50 from fav - 230 att or around 10% att on XL. on your build 12% crit rate is rougly hmm.. 0.6x1.2=72 CM against 72x1.2=86.5 CM so basicaly 20% more dmg. on top of that you have to add 32% burst bonus which is too much calcs but lets assume she gets 320% dmg bonus then 32% from Catch is another 10% + or summary Fav on XL against fav on Beny is about 30% dps loss :) you can ofc do another video and prove me wrong. I will watch it :)
I also recommend fav on both Benny and Kazuha, funneling energy to Xiangling while keeping her base 30k burst dps from catch But if you "mistakenly" refined or used fav sword on other teams for whatever reason, just limiting the fav sword. Then fav lance isn't so bad, it gives you more dps than the 30% you'll get on Xiangling. Of course, this is the hypothetical if you are restricted from using r3 favs on Kazuha and Benny
