I use reverse melt a lot (probably my fave team ngl). I usually use Bennet Q, Rosaria E (Team wide crit buff), Rosaria Q (Snapshots Bennet burst+ Crit), Xiangling E (To drop Guoba pepper), Xiangling Q (Same snapshot), Kaeya Q (Pick up Guoaba burst if possible), Kaeya E and then pretty much rotate the same.
Now I finally have 2 teams for abyss on my main 😂 never really focused on it but it took a while of account assessing to realize I had all the pieces in front of me. Thanks shark 💙

@@mq8337 I gotta say that I also don't understand many things. I was using Kaeya, Lisa, Bennet and Amber. Kaeya was level 30 but the rest were like 10-20. I got some weapons leveled and some artifacts to like lvl 4-8 .I was doing superconduct with Kaeya and Lisa, overload with Lisa and Bennet and Melt or reverse melt with Kaeya and Bennet. I was just trying to combine those elements and get reactions. I don't know how to perfectly combine and time those elements, I was just doing the best that I could. 3rd floor was really hard for me, I barely made it, it took at least 5-10 tries on 3rd floor lever 2 and 3. For 3rd floor level 3 I was using traveler with anemo to trigger swirl (using any element and then using anemo for a swirl reaction) because there was a big swirl bonus for the 3rd floor so that helped me with it. I am constantly watching guides on how to level characters, weapons, artifacts. What materials to use, save, farm. How to build teams, how characters, their stats and passive skills interact with each other, that's the part that I don't understand fully so at this point I am just copying this build that Sharkh3art made and learning on the side from the internet.
Cool, AR35 here and have all those characters but have still to level Kaeya and Rosaria, guess which team I am going to build. I am one fish away from getting the catch and I have no 5* artifacts (waiting for AR45 to farm). Thanks for the help on how to build this teams and especially how to use them.
Maybe start this rotation with Xiangling's Skill, which will hopefully finish by the time Xiangling comes out again and waits the second or takes for Bennett's boost to proc on her so that you can also grab Guoba's Chili and further boost her attack before you trigger her snapshotting Burst?
Thanks SharkH3art, this video is AWESOME! The rotation explanation was really IMPORTANT since the sites I go to never explain how to play the team. Can I use Ganyu since I dont have Rosaria? My team: Benny level 80 (Exile set to help XiangLing to get her burst ready) + Sapwood (for Benny own burst) XiangLing level 80 (Noblesse set - got from Lockbox. Started farming Emblem, so far havent completed the set yet) Ganyu level 81 (Wanderer set - will change to 2pc Wanderer + 2 pc Blizzard (throwing the junk Emblem + Shimekawa into lockbox for Blizzard) The problem is the last cyro spot. Kaeya is level 50 with lvl 90 Prototype Rancour (Benny used it b4 he got Sapwood) Artifacts: none (will just slap whatever I have on him) Do I need to level up Kaeya to 80 and what talent to level up? (All his talent is level 1.) My only other level 80 Cyro is Diona.
Yes you can def use Ganyu! I'd probably use those 3 for now and you can either slowly build Kaeya or build a character for another team. Those 3 on their own are very strong but Ganyu could use a bit of help with more energy form a second cryo character.
Kaeya with main dps Ganyu doesn't work well because main dps Ganyu relies on her charged shots and won't be close enough to enemies for Kaeya's burst to hit them. She will also need a shield character like Diona so she doesn't get interrupted. If you're using Kaeya it's actually better to use Ganyu as a burst support character for a main dps Kaeya (Ganyu 4pc noblesse or 2pc noblesse + 2pc BS if you already have a noblesse user). Ganyu gives Kaeya a cryo buff when he's inside her burst and together they can do serious damage. They also feed enough cryo particles to each other to have both of their bursts up on cooldown.

It's actually quite easy if you want to follow the simple rotation first. Just remember you generally want to use a character's skills before their burst and you can just place the characters in the team in order of how you would use them. So you have Bennett in slot 1, Xiangling in slot 2, Rosaria in slot 3, and Kaeya in slot 4 and that way you can press 1,2,3,4 for your rotation :) After you have that down you can learn the more optimized rotation if you want.
Who should i have as my on-field DPS? I recently started the game (AR 24) and I want to focus making the on-field DPS but i dotn know who that would be
It may be obvious to most, but how do you start if you don't have the -Q- skill ready? I assume that is the burst, right? I am going to dig through your old videos, but it would also be good to have an updated "basics terms in Genshin" for those of use who are new (at least somewhat) and don't know all those details.
Yeah Q is burst b/c that's the button for it on PC. If you don't have the energy for this at the start you'll need to use more elemental skills (or build more energy recharge) to get your energy up. In the abyss you always start with full energy on the first chamber so that's usually not a problem.
@@sharkh3art I am slowly learning that part. I did just switch to Raiden/Xangqui/Bennet/Xiangling and that works really well most times. Raiden C3 can mow stuff down all by herself at times, except for the 2 floating frost guys in one domain that I stopped being able to damage, at least until the next run. Lots to learn in the game!
No because in this case xiangling is just there for off field pyro application, her dmg is not important and it would also create forward melt and not reverse melt, which will screw up your team

Idk if too may ppl are using burning unless they want all the extra pyro application, but regardless I'd probably suggest Bennett and Xingqiu for a Burgeon Combo. Those two are also just really good to build.
To anyone watching this guide just now and are looking to build this team, please do not follow most of the advice listed in this video. Rotation is bad, weapon choices are suboptimal, artifact sets and substats mentioned are mislead, and don't ever let anyone tell you that "xiangling's damage is not important", she's the most broken pyro character period and will still be melting so please build some EM. Use the catch

Hmm I'd finish Constellations on characters like Xingqiu first from starglitter, but if you have constellations for 4 stars you find using a lot then Kaeya is a very good choice.

watching recent vids which mostly include Rosario, Bennet, Diona, Sucrose etc, and all I can think of the account that I cannot access anymore! I had all of those characters from normal pulls in that account including Razor, Chongun, Diluc. Starting fresh I now got characters I dont know how to rank up because their resources are not available until late game (Inazuma, Sumeru res) - Yan fei, layla, sayu, gouro, qiqi (i may have spelled a few wrong) and I am yet to reach AR 15!
I have app these characters but im literally only like Adventure Rank 24 so i dont think i can farm any of the artifacts you showed so what artifacts should i use since im still in Mondstadt lol
Can I use an emblem set on Rosaria for this? I have a very good one and since it gives elemental burst damage bonus i thought it might work. 98 crit rate/ 190 crit damage 295 em much better than my gilded or blizard sets.
if Rosaria gives a crit-rate buff and Xianglings burst snap-shots, would you not want to use Rosaria before Xiangling, so Xianglings burst gets the buff?
Because you're using Xiangling to apply pyro more than to melt the cryo. Cyro ends up doing more of the damage so you'd want that on field when all the other pyro applicators and buffs are up. This is also why extra crit on pyronado isn't as significant as in other teams. But if you want to force a melt (or even reverse melt) reaction you'll have more crit for any other character you switch into after.
Ganyu can pump out more damage and gives a cryo buff so I'd use her over Kaeya. The benefit to using Kaeya is that his skill has a lower cooldown and can generate energy faster. But the Ganyu version works very well and if you just build a little energy recharge on her you'll be fine :)
Ganyu is a strong character and requires less investment than Kaeya. The negative is that her damage comes from her lvl 2 charge shot which a lot of people (myself included) don't enjoy using. That being said, Kaeya as the main cryo dps with Ganyu as burst support are an amazing combo even better than Kaeya & Rosaria since Kaeya doesn't need much crit rate at all (20% if you have c1 & 4 piece BS will put Kaeya at 90% in freeze teams & 70% in non-freeze double cryo teams) and Ganyu gives a cryo boost to characters within her burst and her burst covers way more ground than Rosaria. Personally I dislike Rosaria because unlike Kaeya & Ganyu she's very dependent on having an anemo character to group enemies within her burst. Without an anemo character or running her in a freeze team, you'll find most enemies just walk away or get hit out of her burst fairly quickly. It's frankly pretty annoying. Also if you do want to run Ganyu as your main dps you'lll probably want to run Layla or Diona as your second cryo character since Ganyu needs to be run with a shield character so she won't get interrupted while charging her shots.

I only have one hydro unit (xingqui) and he is in my hyperbloom team so I can’t play freeze with ganyu only leaving me melt. (Diona/ganyu/bennet/xianling) but I just can’t get the hang of it. If I had two xingquis I would be fine! So I guess I’ll level Rosaria or Kaeya and run her as a sub dps! Thanks y’all
@@Persephoneia01 thats not rly true. the thing here is that ONLY xiangling and rosaria have no ICD on her bursts which results in the big dmg. Rosaria also gives add. crit rate buff with her burst. Aside from this teamcomp you are right and yes, with ganyu as a main dps i would also recommend a shielder, ideal would be an cryo shielder like diona or layla like u mentioned alrdy for the 2x cryo team-comp-buff. Just depends on the team -> i for example use the old ganyu, diona, xiangling, bennett comp bcause of the extra EM from dionas c6 and bcause i hate that layla self-infuses yourself with cryo on E-skill which can be extremly annoying on hydro enemies or while standing in water/rain
SharkH3art, can you make a video on Freeze Team? I am using Diona, Mona, Ganyu, Sucrose but mobs dies very slowly... Not sure is it because of incorrect rotation (lol actually i dont even have a rotation >.
What artifacts & weapon are you running on Ganyu and what levels are her talents? What talent lvl is Mona's burst & artifacts? Ganyu dps freeze is actually one of the harder freeze teams to run because the best hydro applicators like Xingqiu don't work well with Ganyu's charge shots (though Kokomi works well with Ganyu). Mona is a great unit, but requires a shit ton of ER especially being the only hydro unit on the team. Mona needs 250% ER meaning she either has to use favonius codex or prototype amber. Also rotation should be something like Diona hold e - Ganyu eq - Mona eq - Ganyu 2 charge shots - Sucrose EQ - Ganyu 1 charge shot. Imo Ganyu is a better melt dps than freeze dps. Character like Kaeya & Ayaka are much better main dps characters for freeze.

It's a quick swap team you swap between every character doing their bursts and skills according to the rotation in the video there's no main dps three of them are sub dps (kaeya , rosaria and xiangling) and Bennet is a buffing support and healer
Oh your the dude who lied about wanderer. Anyway I mostly agree the team has its peaks, although hyperbloom and vape just kinda easier to use with the mountain of low investment options.
im currently using kaeya lvl60, mona lvl50, xiangling lvl 60,noelle lvl50 (healer) and idk how to build them i just do random rotation and idk what im doing i just wanna KILL the enemy and trying to freeze it help💀

Obviously i have no artifacts for them. Should i try to level up all of them as a team?? or just focus resources on one carry (Bennett or Xiangling maybe?) and stick to your step by step guide??
Wow nice! Since the reverse melt team functions as a quick swap (no real "main dps") I'd focus on Rosaria/Bennett, then Xinagling, and Kaeya. You can build everyone a little more evenly or pick Rosaria or Bennett to focus on more, the results will be great either way :)
WYM farming for Lavawalker is painful? Go with the intent to farm for the Crimson Witch of Flames set. You WILL GET THE LAVAWALKER. Good ones guaranteed.

Question, wouldn’t you want Rosaria’s skill before Xiangling’s burst for the crit? Or am I misunderstanding how crit works for bursts?

Hmm I'd finish Constellations on characters like Xingqiu first from starglitter, but if you have constellations for 4 stars you find using a lot then Kaeya is a very good choice.

Mostly just good teams in general with high value characters (both 4 stars and 5 stars).
watching recent vids which mostly include Rosario, Bennet, Diona, Sucrose etc, and all I can think of the account that I cannot access anymore! I had all of those characters from normal pulls in that account including Razor, Chongun, Diluc. Starting fresh I now got characters I dont know how to rank up because their resources are not available until late game (Inazuma, Sumeru res) - Yan fei, layla, sayu, gouro, qiqi (i may have spelled a few wrong) and I am yet to reach AR 15!
Layla is pretty easy to build and Sayu is nice b/c anemo is great! I hope you can get your old account back!

Can I use an emblem set on Rosaria for this? I have a very good one and since it gives elemental burst damage bonus i thought it might work. 98 crit rate/ 190 crit damage 295 em much better than my gilded or blizard sets.

if Rosaria gives a crit-rate buff and Xianglings burst snap-shots, would you not want to use Rosaria before Xiangling, so Xianglings burst gets the buff?
Because you're using Xiangling to apply pyro more than to melt the cryo. Cyro ends up doing more of the damage so you'd want that on field when all the other pyro applicators and buffs are up. This is also why extra crit on pyronado isn't as significant as in other teams. But if you want to force a melt (or even reverse melt) reaction you'll have more crit for any other character you switch into after.
Hey! I wanna use this team! I was wondering if replacing Kaeya with Ganyu is BETTER or if I should just build Kaeya
Ganyu can pump out more damage and gives a cryo buff so I'd use her over Kaeya. The benefit to using Kaeya is that his skill has a lower cooldown and can generate energy faster. But the Ganyu version works very well and if you just build a little energy recharge on her you'll be fine :)
Ganyu is a strong character and requires less investment than Kaeya. The negative is that her damage comes from her lvl 2 charge shot which a lot of people (myself included) don't enjoy using. That being said, Kaeya as the main cryo dps with Ganyu as burst support are an amazing combo even better than Kaeya & Rosaria since Kaeya doesn't need much crit rate at all (20% if you have c1 & 4 piece BS will put Kaeya at 90% in freeze teams & 70% in non-freeze double cryo teams) and Ganyu gives a cryo boost to characters within her burst and her burst covers way more ground than Rosaria. Personally I dislike Rosaria because unlike Kaeya & Ganyu she's very dependent on having an anemo character to group enemies within her burst. Without an anemo character or running her in a freeze team, you'll find most enemies just walk away or get hit out of her burst fairly quickly. It's frankly pretty annoying.
Also if you do want to run Ganyu as your main dps you'lll probably want to run Layla or Diona as your second cryo character since Ganyu needs to be run with a shield character so she won't get interrupted while charging her shots.

I only have one hydro unit (xingqui) and he is in my hyperbloom team so I can’t play freeze with ganyu only leaving me melt. (Diona/ganyu/bennet/xianling) but I just can’t get the hang of it. If I had two xingquis I would be fine! So I guess I’ll level Rosaria or Kaeya and run her as a sub dps! Thanks y’all
@@Persephoneia01 thats not rly true. the thing here is that ONLY xiangling and rosaria have no ICD on her bursts which results in the big dmg. Rosaria also gives add. crit rate buff with her burst. Aside from this teamcomp you are right and yes, with ganyu as a main dps i would also recommend a shielder, ideal would be an cryo shielder like diona or layla like u mentioned alrdy for the 2x cryo team-comp-buff. Just depends on the team -> i for example use the old ganyu, diona, xiangling, bennett comp bcause of the extra EM from dionas c6 and bcause i hate that layla self-infuses yourself with cryo on E-skill which can be extremly annoying on hydro enemies or while standing in water/rain

Sure! I plan on making a video on freeze teams but there's a lot of variation so I'll probably do one or two other team vids first.
What artifacts & weapon are you running on Ganyu and what levels are her talents? What talent lvl is Mona's burst & artifacts? Ganyu dps freeze is actually one of the harder freeze teams to run because the best hydro applicators like Xingqiu don't work well with Ganyu's charge shots (though Kokomi works well with Ganyu). Mona is a great unit, but requires a shit ton of ER especially being the only hydro unit on the team. Mona needs 250% ER meaning she either has to use favonius codex or prototype amber. Also rotation should be something like Diona hold e - Ganyu eq - Mona eq - Ganyu 2 charge shots - Sucrose EQ - Ganyu 1 charge shot.
Imo Ganyu is a better melt dps than freeze dps. Character like Kaeya & Ayaka are much better main dps characters for freeze.

It's a quick swap team you swap between every character doing their bursts and skills according to the rotation in the video there's no main dps three of them are sub dps (kaeya , rosaria and xiangling) and Bennet is a buffing support and healer

idk if i got lucky but i started playing genshin yesterday and i got both Bennett and Rosaria on the first 2 newbie adventure wishes banner. So now i have the full team already. Obviously i have no artifacts for them. Should i try to level up all of them as a team?? or just focus resources on one carry (Bennett or Xiangling maybe?) and stick to your step by step guide??
Wow nice! Since the reverse melt team functions as a quick swap (no real "main dps") I'd focus on Rosaria/Bennett, then Xinagling, and Kaeya. You can build everyone a little more evenly or pick Rosaria or Bennett to focus on more, the results will be great either way :)

Fischl Beidou Xingqiu and Sucrose is classic taser. You could do fischl beidou sayu barbara id you didn't have the other characters.
