If the actual lineup was anywhere near as bad as this I'd honestly throw myself off a cliff (Edit: For legal reasons I would like to state that I mean no offense to the video's creator, their opinion is fair and should be respected. The same sentiment applies to my opinion that I am very glad the actual selection is nothing like this).
Instead of simply saying this lineup is awful, feel free to explain why you don't like it, which tracks in particular that I included you wouldn't want in the BCP and which tracks in particular you would've rather included. It doesn't make sense to simply state that my lineup is trash and NOT list the changes you would've made to make it better. I appreciate you watching regardless
@GWallPro Alright sure. For one, the overload of Bowser's Castles and Rainbow Road, while cool on paper, does not make for a varied lineup and in reality would likely make for pretty bland cups (especially the former, iyam). Some of the other cups are also pretty poorly thought out. Take Cherry Cup for example, it starts with a Wario track after the very previous cup (which would be in the same wave) ended with a Wario track, is followed by a Bowser's Castle even though the very next cup has 4 Bowser's Castles, is then followed by *another* Wario track, which is then followed by Piranha Plant Cove which is extremely similar thematically to Wario Shipyard even though it follows it. This issue persists quite a bit, Rock Cup is filled with Wintery tracks, Feather Cup is filled with Summery tracks, etc. Then there's the somewhat extreme removal of Tour tracks, which I can't be too upset about as it is understandable you wouldn't want as many of them but some of the exclusions are rather strange. No Squeaky Clean Sprint? No Piranha Plant Pipeline? Some of the retro replacements are really odd to me too, as they are arguably for less interesting track layouts. Shroom Ridge for Mushroom Bridge? Mario Circuit 3 for Mario Circuit 1? Boo Lake for Luigi's Mansion? Not to mention great tracks that are gone for no discernable reason like Choco Mountain, and Daisy Cruiser. Wave 1 in particular, if you ask me, is a rather major downgrade compared to what we actually got. Back to my first point of a lack of variety though, there are quite a few times in the lineup where a track and its sister track are both present. Both Wuhu tracks, both GCN Mushroom tracks, both GCN jungle tracks. Why not only have one and allow some other track themes to shine? All in all this lineup is less interesting, varied and as a whole just seems like it would be far less fun.
@@Polley001_ Perfect. I respect your opinion a lot more now. I completely understand not liking a lot of similarly themed tracks in the same cup. As you can see based on the video, I think it would be a brilliant concept to see a cup filled with similarly themed tracks! The Tour tracks I got rid of simply because I didn’t like them as much as the other tracks I included in my BCP. I’m not massive fans of Squeaky Clean or Pipeline so I didn’t include them. And sure you can argue that sister tracks reduce the variety, but in my opinion if I think both tracks are great then I’ll include them. I love Mushroom Bridge AND Mushroom City. I love DK Mountain AND Dino Dino Jungle. Totally understandable if you don’t think it’s aesthetically pleasing to include both, but I just want the tracks that I enjoy playing the most. @GWallPro Your standpoints on a lot of this are quite understandable. I suppose I was rather harsh (and I was told so as well, hence the edit, although I'm aware it still isn't very pleasing). For what it's worth, there's a lot in there that I do like. Toad's Factory was a track I really wanted to see (although I'm very pleased with the Wii representation we did end up getting), and Lakeside Park was a huge want of mine as well (though after seeing how Tour handled it I'm more at peace with its exclusion, as it got a rather careless remake imo).
Honestly a lot of good picks here! Would've loved to see Toad's Factory, Maka Wuhu and GCN Bowser's Castle make the cut, though I am really satisfied with what we have!

While I like the all Bowser’s Castle and all Rainbow Road cups in theory, I think it would be really disappointing in practice. Imagine we’re at the place we’re in now, people are still hoping for some of their favorite tracks to get in, and then they announce that it’s just Bowser’s Castles and Rainbow Roads left. I think it would work great in the base game, but with all the marketing and theorization that comes with DLC, it’d probably piss a lot of people off

GCN Wario Colosseum is on the list : instantly approved! I personally wouldn't have put both Wuhu tracks since I think it would be better to have more variety But overall though, I think it's a pretty good selection Great video (Kinda want to create my own BCP now haha)

Interesting that you got rid of some of the nitros and tour tracks. Although I guess since it’s your dream BCP it makes sense to remove the courses you don’t like. Like I know if I ever remade the BCP and allowed myself to remove them I’d for sure remove ninja hideaway and piranha plant pipeline along with half of the cities. Love that you went for an all rainbow road cup though, even if it came at the cost of some of the best courses in the BCP.
Yeah I really debated whether or not to keep all the Tour tracks but truth is there are just some that I'm not a fan of. So I figured why include it especially if it's my dream BCP like you said. And yeah one of my dreams for the actual BCP was to have an all Rainbow Road cup but since that's not happening I'd rather live it in my dreams hahaha. Hope you enjoyed the video though!

I know personally I'd remove quite a few courses because the BCP has added a majority of the courses in my bottom 5. And I definitely enjoyed the video! I'd actually replace 3DS Toad Circuit with either one of the 3DS Wuhu Tracks, bring one of them back is what I wanted. Also, instead of using the STOCK icons for each track, why not use the modern icons from the latest MK Game a track has appeared in. Eg, Peach Gdns →Tour Delfino Square → Wii Etc, it wouldn't be TOO HARD to do this Gabe

Take Cherry Cup for example, it starts with a Wario track after the very previous cup (which would be in the same wave) ended with a Wario track, is followed by a Bowser's Castle even though the very next cup has 4 Bowser's Castles, is then followed by *another* Wario track, which is then followed by Piranha Plant Cove which is extremely similar thematically to Wario Shipyard even though it follows it. This issue persists quite a bit, Rock Cup is filled with Wintery tracks, Feather Cup is filled with Summery tracks, etc. Then there's the somewhat extreme removal of Tour tracks, which I can't be too upset about as it is understandable you wouldn't want as many of them but some of the exclusions are rather strange. No Squeaky Clean Sprint? No Piranha Plant Pipeline? Some of the retro replacements are really odd to me too, as they are arguably for less interesting track layouts. Shroom Ridge for Mushroom Bridge? Mario Circuit 3 for Mario Circuit 1? Boo Lake for Luigi's Mansion? Not to mention great tracks that are gone for no discernable reason like Choco Mountain, and Daisy Cruiser. Wave 1 in particular, if you ask me, is a rather major downgrade compared to what we actually got. Back to my first point of a lack of variety though, there are quite a few times in the lineup where a track and its sister track are both present. Both Wuhu tracks, both GCN Mushroom tracks, both GCN jungle tracks. Why not only have one and allow some other track themes to shine? All in all this lineup is less interesting, varied and as a whole just seems like it would be far less fun.
@@Polley001_ Perfect. I respect your opinion a lot more now. I completely understand not liking a lot of similarly themed tracks in the same cup. As you can see based on the video, I think it would be a brilliant concept to see a cup filled with similarly themed tracks! The Tour tracks I got rid of simply because I didn’t like them as much as the other tracks I included in my BCP. I’m not massive fans of Squeaky Clean or Pipeline so I didn’t include them. And sure you can argue that sister tracks reduce the variety, but in my opinion if I think both tracks are great then I’ll include them. I love Mushroom Bridge AND Mushroom City. I love DK Mountain AND Dino Dino Jungle. Totally understandable if you don’t think it’s aesthetically pleasing to include both, but I just want the tracks that I enjoy playing the most. @GWallPro Your standpoints on a lot of this are quite understandable. I suppose I was rather harsh (and I was told so as well, hence the edit, although I'm aware it still isn't very pleasing). For what it's worth, there's a lot in there that I do like. Toad's Factory was a track I really wanted to see (although I'm very pleased with the Wii representation we did end up getting), and Lakeside Park was a huge want of mine as well (though after seeing how Tour handled it I'm more at peace with its exclusion, as it got a rather careless remake imo).
Honestly a lot of good picks here! Would've loved to see Toad's Factory, Maka Wuhu and GCN Bowser's Castle make the cut, though I am really satisfied with what we have!

While I like the all Bowser’s Castle and all Rainbow Road cups in theory, I think it would be really disappointing in practice. Imagine we’re at the place we’re in now, people are still hoping for some of their favorite tracks to get in, and then they announce that it’s just Bowser’s Castles and Rainbow Roads left. I think it would work great in the base game, but with all the marketing and theorization that comes with DLC, it’d probably piss a lot of people off
4 rainbow roads together and would be awesome. Maybe an extra dlc cup.

Interesting that you got rid of some of the nitros and tour tracks. Although I guess since it’s your dream BCP it makes sense to remove the courses you don’t like. Like I know if I ever remade the BCP and allowed myself to remove them I’d for sure remove ninja hideaway and piranha plant pipeline along with half of the cities. Love that you went for an all rainbow road cup though, even if it came at the cost of some of the best courses in the BCP.
Yeah I really debated whether or not to keep all the Tour tracks but truth is there are just some that I'm not a fan of. So I figured why include it especially if it's my dream BCP like you said. And yeah one of my dreams for the actual BCP was to have an all Rainbow Road cup but since that's not happening I'd rather live it in my dreams hahaha. Hope you enjoyed the video though!

I know personally I'd remove quite a few courses because the BCP has added a majority of the courses in my bottom 5. And I definitely enjoyed the video! I'd actually replace 3DS Toad Circuit with either one of the 3DS Wuhu Tracks, bring one of them back is what I wanted.
Also, instead of using the STOCK icons for each track, why not use the modern icons from the latest MK Game a track has appeared in. Eg, Peach Gdns →Tour
