I usually sit without music but it makes me unmotivated, so seeing your comment actually made me think of how i could actually do something put my mind to it. Im studying cybersecurity now, its not tough but i dont love it, not an exciting reason for choosing to study, i just chose it because it was my last option. I wanted to study finance instead since im good with numbers and problem solving, kinda, not that much. But nothing about coding excites me at all. I find myself in a computer lab every single day and every one there just sits alone and you can’t actually get to know anyone at my university. I practically know no body at my campus and its a boring day to me as an extrovert to sit down for ling hours without getting to know any single person you see almost every day is just sad. They have the possibility to communicate but they choose not to except with their own circle, and as an international student, i cant find anyone to communicate with, nevertheless with the group projects, i cant find any partner, or barely find any, to do the project with, so i really dont seem to enjoy being at my university, all of my friends are from different universities but they have alot if international students, so they have the opportunity to communicate. Im trying to imply to my parents that i need to leave the university but they wont budge, and if i change universities, i will have to leave where i am and come back again. Sorry for the vent out, felt like i had to talk about it.

listening to this almost three years apart today. I had runaway to an unknown place and suddenly life had taken the worst turn. I took out my phone, looked at myself and cried about how sad and internally screaming the person in front of me looked, and then my youtube in background played "oh, hello, how are you? are ready? it's mild orange". I remember it so vividly mahn! like happiness was out of me and i was surrounded w people and parties but my essence ust wasnt there but there was an odd chuckle and calm amidst that anxiety. I told myself to listen to this again someday when i am in a better place and can laugh it off how awesome and important that low point was. this is that day. cheers :)

Let me tell ya'll a fun little small world story. A couple years ago back when Mild Orange was barely known to anyone I was working as a treeplanter in Northern Canada. I was out in a remote little camp in the middle of nowhere with other people who I didn't really know. One evening after work I was relaxing outside playing music from my speaker, I just so happened to be playing Mild Orange. Everyone was vibing to the music and a few moments later this guy comes over and says out loud "Who's playing the music right now?!", I was like "uhhh its me" and with the biggest smile and shocked face he says "Dude these guys are my friends from NZ! They play at the local bar just down my street". My mind was blown LOL, turns out he's from NZ and is on a work visa travelling Canada. Such a crazy moment.

There's more good music than you think! Look at gorillaz, crumb, the unknown mortal orchestra, and la luz, those are just modern producing bands off the top of my head!
