I’ve never understood why there is a lack of help/care from players on other teams. Especially if one of their own is the one that is involved.
In this case, Wiggins immediately went back to his bench. He didn’t bother helping Noel up or even checking on him to see if he’s OK. I understand it’s a competitive sport, but at the end of the day it’s entertainment and teaching sportsmanship is one of the many great values to be taught to viewers around the world.
With that said, I know the entire league isn’t like this. I’ve seen many veterans do a great job at this like Bron, Tyson Chandler and Vince Carter just to name a few. It’s just something that is important to me when I’m on the court. When I foul or see someone go down, I’ll go over and make sure they’re alright. Help them up and keep playing.

I’m talking about in the general case of things. Often times players trip up or just fall down on plays where they get caught up with another player. First thing the other player does is go complain to the ref about it being a foul call.
Everyone notices what a great guy Steven Adams is and it’s because he understands it’s just basketball. He stops fights, he checks on people to see if they’re alright, I’ve seen him grab a guy that was flying over him and save him from hitting the deck. Isn’t this what they should be teaching to everyone watching, including children?
ZAYM Well, the problem you have is that the other players on the injured player’s team may not take it as that, because their adrenaline is pumping. Trust me, I have seen a few fights start after someone gets injured and the person who injured them, as far as I can tell, went to check on him.
I completely agree with you. If he was fine and got up right away I'd kinda understand that a fight could break out but that was clearly a gnarly hit/fall. I get trying to act tough or whatever but that's pretty heartless to just walk away from without showing any kind of concern.
