Oh yes, this is awesome! ComposeMan seriously needs this to showcase how truly great the concept is, and you're delivering. I love so much about this, I don't even know where to begin... I'm for sure subbing to get updates on this project, and just in time for ComposeMan 3 dropping this weekend too!
In all honesty, though this IS a project I've been waiting for quite long, I feel it'd be better to take the game in a "NES-inspired" direction, rather than the "only NES restrictions" one it's heading in right now. More expressive palletes and smoother animations with more frames are what this really needs. Bologne Man himself seems to have telegraphs that are... quite short... maybe concider making them longer? I appreciate the effort though, keep it coming!

It was never my intent to make it "only" NES restrictions, but my approach was to use it as a starting point and carefully strip it away so that it still "feels" like NES in the right places without the jank. As for the telegraphs... well, that's just because I being a little mean :p
@@EiriSanada Alrighty then. I have a question: What do you have in mind for De Senneville Man? I personally imagined him summoning hardlight clones to run into you. Maybe his stage could be scaling the Eiffel Tower? It'd be interesting for a vertical stage
@@chopchopmasteryeetus3636 I actually didn't put him on my initial idea list. A music homage is one thing, but I considered it bad taste to explore him as an actual enemy, since he was still alive and could throw copyright law at you. He actually died a couple weeks ago at the age of 89.
@@EiriSanada Oh... sad... Poor bastard... at least he lived quite long! Doesn't make up for Chopin accidentally stealing his work... while being dead... I imagined De Senneville Man as having a hatred of Chopin for this exact reason. And then Chopin Man from 2 just... doesn't get it and continues with his whole emo schtick.
