Switching out a banjo uke head

The Banjolele takes Standard Ukulele strings. I prefer a Plastic Head so it'll hold tune better.

Is that a drum key used to loosen the head on the pot?

It's like a drum key, but is a hex shape to match the banjo nuts, unlike the square shape of a drum key.
