The link event in yugioh master duel was mostly an unpleasant one for me but that about goes for modern yugioh as a whole. This set of replays is another demonstration of what modern yugioh is all about now and what an automated mess it is.

I’m an OG yugioh player just started back after 12 years. And while I was rank dueling against someone in master duel. I came across a card that my opponent was using with an effect stating that , “ if your opponent has 1 card in his hand you can special summon a card from your deck. Not to sure what the name of that card was but I’ve never encountered anything like it. I ended up getting spanked btw. So I just deleted the game.
I can't blame you friend, the reality modern yugioh might as well have a different name from yugioh, that's how different we're talking it's become. There's always the chance they'll add in a retro mode or something, I've thought of this from when the game first came out so I made sure to play and collect cards anyway.

@@Snotboxrocked156 Id argue that the release of A Retro Mode would possibly be something that Konami wants to avoid... They dont want anyone flocking to that style of balance again, itll be a glaring contridiction to the Sh#t show of a mess they call the "modern" format

Bro play Tearlaments/Ishizu or Exo-sisters. It’s the answer to your issues. It’s the answer to every modern yugioh issues. Jest read those archetypes effects and make a video about it with your open opinion on it👍💯
And their not even link or synchros . It’s good ol’ fusions and Xyz for Exo-Sis but every deck these days are played based on the GY situation and Exo-Sis are the key 🔑
It's not a revelation konami makes broken cards and then makes even more broken cards and leading the players to them. The type of extra deck cards they have isn't the point. I'm not focused on making yugioh videos and when I do come back I'll be focused on playing decks that I've already acquired but not showcased on the channel. It's very unlikely I'll ever try these decks you mention.

Yea Konami knows wat their doing so it’s like it’s too late for them so they constantly keeps digging themselves in a hole but at the end of the day ppl who keeps buying their new card packs don’t have a backbone and doesn’t reliaze that THEIR decision to keep buying it isn’t gonna stope the BS. That’s why they “fixed” the banlist and at this point u can pretty much guess the outcome of it bc Konami “acts” like they didn’t know it could turn out with a broken card.(trust me they test cards out before showing to public) So YEA it is a scheme but the fandom keeps coming back like an abuse wife. So blame the community whose unaware of this

You're complaining about modern yugioh while playing things that were never playable in retro competitive yugioh or modern yugioh. No offense, but the yugioh you keep talking up was a dull MTG ripoff with no identity, but I can just assume that you won't listen to reason while pretending that your salt is sarcasm
The ones not listening to reason are players like you that will ass kiss whatever konami does with yugioh not realizing that they're printing broken cards on purpose so $100 cards can exist in the secondary market and they take they piss and laugh on your backs while they're at it. Kazuki Takahashi did indeed create Yugioh as a parody of MTG in the manga but the actual tcg when it was created was not even close to a ripp off of MTG. It doesn't matter if I use a top meta deck or not broken cards are broken. Lmfao, I played Yugioh since the very first packs in the US all the way up to around 2011. Yugioh was never anything like MTG. You clearly dont know what you're talking about.
