I haven't done anything with it yet. I've had offers to buy it and suggestions to get it repaired. I'm just waiting for now but a video for everyone to see sounds good. In the meantime I ordered a new one.
I really enjoy your videos and especially your reviews on the wings. I'm trying to decide what my next one will be and was looking at the Hadron 3 and Viper XC but not sure if they would be to hot for me? Have 160 flights on a heavily loaded Flow Cosmos power. I like to do a lot of carving but also hands off cross country. Just turned 51 a few weeks ago so takeoff speed is a serious consideration as I age. Would I be better off progressing to a Sirocco 3 or a Nucleon 4 or just go for the H3 or Viper XC????? That is the question...... Keep the videos coming! Additionally my current wing is extremely fast but not very lifty. I fly with a guy on an H3 and we are about the same speed for reference but he doesn't burn near as much fuel as I do.
Everyone is different for wings. I progressed from Spyder to Sirocco to H3 to Viper. For me, I needed that progression. Don't go to a wing you might not be ready for. Age and ability play a factor for sure. My 54 year old instructor would say his landing gear is out of warranty and you can't get parts any more.
Been asked many times about the setup. I use a Rode GO Lavalier mic plugged directly into media mod. Mic placement when talking, wind protection, and throttle timing are key. I just don't want to sound like the AM radio in my grandpa's truck. This works for me.
No shade thrown on Judson but I enjoy your content just the way you do it. Carry on.
Thanks for the accolade, I'm glad you enjoy these!
I love this video and the plan comment. I saw this after watching his video, also. So good! I need to do better at having a plan also.
In my defense, that tree was fascinating...
Never stop learning, but definitely don't drink a lot of water prior to flying.
Did you ever make a damage report for the viper? Curious the damage and how much it costs to repair it if that’s what you’re doing with it

Ha! Good word. It's good to have a choice of LZ's in the area for just such an emergency.
