Hey, thanks. This is a great guide! One question re: organic. If I make an organic campaign is there any way to track its performance in GA4? Or will the data only show up as organic with all organic because I cannot can't have a specific link -- only the generic URL in my profile.
In order to separate your campaign visit(ors) from other organic you need just 1 parameter that identifies it - e.g landing page, geolocation, keyword ... (you're gonna need a GSC connected for this data to flow into GA4 though)
@@DataDrivenU Hi, thanks so much, again! I hate to bug you with a follow up, but I think I wasn’t clear. In a paid campaign I can link to a unique landing page - or create a campaign specific URL. But as I understand it in an organic post, I can only have my bio link which will be the same link for any campaign. Thus, all organic is lumped into the same stat in GA4. Or is there some way to link a unique campaign URL or landing page for a given organic campaign that I am missing?
@@DataDrivenU Yes, I have used URL builder to create a URL. HEres' the chalange: (as far as I understand it) IG does not allow using links in organic (unpaid) ads. Therefore, the only link in an organic campaign is the link in the bio. The link in the bio is in every post whether part of a campaign, or a one-off, or part of another campaign -- so the bio link cannot uniquely identify a campaign. Only stories allows an organic post with a link. Unless there is some way to have a link in an organic Reels or other IG post that I am missing?
hiya thanks for this. how come i can't see the SEO reports section? I've checked and it is hooked up to the search console like yours. Is there something I am missing?
Very clearly explained. Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks, was helped me finding organic traffic URL based.
Glad it helped!
Yes! Thank you very much
You're welcome!
Why there is no Akquisition in my GA? Do i have to activate it?

This is cool, but in my client's GA4, I'm seeing a Search Console section, but no "SEO Reports" section like you have. Was that taken away?
SEO Reports is a custom collection - you can learn how to make it in this video: th-cam.com/video/MFmYhznXIG0/w-d-xo.html
can you tell me how I see the difference between traffic coming organically through Bing, and the traffic I'm driving using Bing/Microsoft Bing Ads?
source/medium for the organic is bing/organic whereas for the ads is bing/cpc

Have you used url builder for utm link parameters - perhaps that could solve your problem?
what exactly do you mean by organic post? because that term in social vs ga4 means 2 completely different things@@danny-wy3oz

Go to the Library in the Reports section - could be that the SEO collection is simply unpublished
Can you filter the organic traffic in the apps?
yes - simply apply the stream name filter in any acquisition report
