- Water Beads are an inexpensive way to add decor to your home or wedding. You can also add submersible lights. I purchased this multi-color pack for under $4. For large events, I would recommend purchasing in bulk online. They come in lots of colors however, you can also buy clear one and dye them.

I had to comeback and tell you that this idea saved me so much! Id planned a large reception when I first viewed the vid, 2wks before the event. Using this idea, I made all the centerpieces and lighting containers. I even dyed half of the beads with a WONDERFUL RESULTS! (No more marbles for me!) Also, I used the electronic tea lights/led lights! Beautiful! Thank you again!
MuchLove is such a sweetie. That's so much for stopping by and checking out my channel. Don't be a stranger now :-)
Thank you. I hope it turns out well.
I think they come in different sizes but you are right. They do swell even more as you leave them in water. They also say use distilled water to get them very large.
Yes, you have to re-hydrate them about every 4 weeks depending on the humidity in your area. You can use them over and over again. They are also a great with plants.
Funny you should say that, water beads are excellent way to keep plants hydrated, especially if you are gone for a while. I'm actually looking for a small bamboo tree since I have so many leftover.
Fantastic Idea...thanks for sharing....gonna try and recycle my glass vases from flowers...thanks again.
I love this idea! (Ive been using marbles forever!) Thanks for sharing!
Don't mind at all. Best of luck on your event. I hope everything turns out well. Tip: for my wedding I purchased them online because it was a lot cheap to by them wholesale.
Thanks so much. Each one teach one.
This is very interesting I love this. This is such a great gift.
Beautiful! I'm trying to make my centerpieces at my wedding in January with water beads, btw, they sell these at dollar tree now :)
I have no intention on burning the candle, however, if you wanted to, I would use floating candles and keep the beads at the bottom of the vase.
So beautiful. I will be trying this soon.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
The grad reception was last weekend and I haven't even reviewed the pics yet. I was so tired last week! I plan to do so this week and will post pics soon! :D
Thank you.
Am going to try them on my bamboo plants I have. Thank you I hope they have them here.
Thank you Sis.
Thanks so much for sharing! This is a great idea!!
They last about 4 weeks depending on the humidity. You simply re-hydrate them over and over.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Natural85 has some great idea about recycling candle jars as well. You should check it out if you haven't seen it already.
I bought them at Walmart but you can get more for you money and bigger variety online. Just google water bead and you'll find lots of companies selling them.
Thanks
