    A $40,000 CVO should already have those on there. That's my main complaint with H-D. They charge crazy money for a bike that still needs upgrades.

    Great suspension..I have the rears..and can't wait to be able to get the fronts soon. If I had one comment on the video it would be that I wish you had not stopped when you did. The install is not complete until the shocks have been initially adjusted for the rider. How about a follow up video showing that process??

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comments. Yes we can think about showing the setting of the sag and how that all works. You’ll love the bike even more with the fronts whenever that time comes. It’s a great set up. Thanks for watching and providing your constructive feedback. We appreciate it.

    Geat video what’s the whole package run on something like this?

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching, @515Mustang !! Retail, the front end drop-ins are 849 and the rear remote reservoir suspension is 1415. For the rear, there are less expensive options as well that get the job done great. We just like the external reservoirs for more adjustments.
      Feel free to shoot an email to info@2lanelife.com if you decide to get some suspension upgrades 👍

    Great instructive video guys. Really like the looks on those legends. The reason you guys went with Legends vs Ohlins is because of lets say experience on your previous bikes?

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, we haven’t tried Ohlins but we have run these on 3 or 4 different bikes and love em. And the Legend Team is like family to us. And made here in the USA.

    Just wanted to pass on my experience installing the rears on my 2021 FLTRX. Using Harley's 63-70 ft-lbs on those bolts caused the aluminum spacers to deform they became fixed... wouldn't swivel back/forth on the spherical bearings as designed. The pre-2017 Touring torque specs for the shock bolts were only 35-40... it only changed in 2017 because of the new design OEM shocks where the large washer and shock heads were in direct contact.

    • @chrisbrutto9528

      We haven’t had to make adjustments. Maybe 1 click on the Compression.

  • @jonkalm

    When set properly do the 13” versions maintain same ride height as what you get with the 12” shocks on newer touring models ? I can’t afford to go any higher… I’m short

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, when the sag is set correctly on the 13" suspension it should measure 12" bolt to bolt which is just about the same as the stock suspension but with significantly improved performance. There are lower shocks available, but travel is sacrificed. How tall are you? Josh and Lance Jr are ~5'8" and both rock the 13" suspension and can flat foot on the baggers.

    Is the Legend Suspension noticeably better than the stock 2021 RGL shocks?

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      100%. Most if not all of the baggers have the same suspension, which is less than ideal. In other words, does a bear sh*t in the woods? haha

    I torqued my 2020 cvo to 70 after watching this vid. Had to order new washers/spacer kit.
    Beware of proper torque specs. 40 is the magic number not 70 on the M8s

    Will this work with fat tire kit?

    • @2LaneLife
      @2LaneLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never had one but we recommend using our 21 Kit on a standard fat tire and our 23 Kit on a 21”fat. But I would always recommend them performing a dry mock up without suspension in the forks and to have them bottom it out to make sure they aren’t going to smash the fender

      @2LaneLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, all preference. We recently spent some time riding stock bikes and it got the job done, but for us it was night and day getting back on our bikes and sitting in a comfortable position without slouching as well as having suspension that performs👍

    .So its not brand new then as mentioned (still not in owners possession at that point) it got a 1000 miles on it. .lol how naïve is it to call the fork oil V-Twin fork oil.. Was this done with out the owner's knowledge, or knew about it.. its labeled as you guy's stole it (?) so what does that mean? Reason I ask is it would be a good experiment on a non- suspecting owner to see for any reaction after when the owner hops back on their bike to see what if any reaction they have, and how long it take for them to notice. Yea, you can pay for someone to do it.. but that's half of the fun in biking.. don't you think? But what a shame that harley outfits their over priced bike with junk suspension.. I have one (SG), and it was the worse ride of any road bike I every owned.. (Many of the other large road bike manfacturuers are dragging harley where they never wanted to go, but still it's taking so long..) if you have a Glide, and are under 190lbs or over 250lbs, you will know what i mean. Thanks for showing the optional canister mount options. AND there was no review or reaction from the owner..what a let-down, come on guys

    • @2LaneLife

      This is an old drop. What do you mean come on guys. It’s a spoof. “We stole Lance Coury’s 2020 CBO” And we changed out the front and rear and gave people great insight as what they need to do if they change on their own. So what are you saying?
