Lady, every mama knows that a child that young, CLEARLY is being abused in order to exhibit that kind of extreme behavior. Sending her away was the worst thing you could have done. Smh. Poor thing.
Still she had 4 kids while not being able to provide for her children...sure you are going to say it’s her mother’s fault because the way she was brought up...

It comes across a bit like you're saying "who cares if she was abused as a child? She turned into a shitty adult anyway." The original comment made no excuses for her behaviour as an adult, it was just an observation, so your attitude is totally unwarranted.

@@ashs1491 It doesn't mean the judge's judgement is correct. it just means she already picked a side based on her personal opinion and assessment. If she was strictly going by law it is irrelevant. If this girl wasn't her daughter, the judge wouldn't have done what she had done. Which was trying to break the mother.
Yes, I feel for the daughter but stealing is stealing. That's why America has no future and is in downfall. Laws are not kept up but is based on personal opinions.
Her daughter had four daughters herself, probably became a druggie, probably is on welfare or living off child support or something.
In a good society, the daughter would have pulled herself off the ground, never came in contact with her mother again. Gone to college or university. At bare minimum not pop out children she could not pay for. So the Judge's Judgement is bending the law which in returns destroys the next generation. Should the parents be held accountable? hell yes, let her die alone and by herself with no family or anything. Be successful in life and show this low level mother how wrong she was.

Not everyone who has children has it in them to be a parent. Obviously the mother couldn't deal the responsibility of raising children and decided to put them on someone else. The daughter stills suffers from the traumatic experience of being abandoned. I do wish healing for them so this vicious cycle can end.
It seems like an evil pattern/generational curse
It would help immensely if expecting mothers and fathers were educated about developmental stages of children and what to expect in their behavior at those stages to create a baseline and it'd be ideal if free daycare was available to parents as is offered in other countries to give parents respite.
Did this woman just describe a 3 year old doing EXACTLY what a neurotypical 3 year old does, unless and until they are taught properly by a parent(s) who can (and care enough) to teach their children moral behavior.
I feel bad for the daughter. I had to go through the same thing growing up when I was six years old I had something that happened to me. So instead of my mother helping me going to therapy and being there for me she sent me to a mental institution, foster homes and numerous group homes by the time I was 17 I was legally emancipated. I have my own apartment on section 8 and my mother applied for Social Security disability for me. I never knew that she applied for it for me as a minor she collected a check for 12 years . I had to pay it all back. She had me diagnosed with all these different mental illnesses that I never knew that she had me diagnosed with.I still don’t get along with my mother she told me that I had issues but now at 34 years old I own my own house I am a single mom divorced and I work. I work every day so I can set a better example for my children. This mother is a piece of crap. I hope the daughter Eventually gets her stuff together so she can be a better mother for her children and break The cycle of dysfunction.

While I'm not fully on the daughter's side, the part when her mom said about sending her to foster homes, in the hospital, and multiple programs just made me feel so sad for her. I actually teared up. Nobody should've to go through that kind of experience especially at that young. I don't even want to give my dog up to a shelter even though he has behavioral problem let alone an 8 year old child! The daughter should've never contacted her mom in the first place.

I watch Judge Judy a lot. I can never understand how family members sue family members. Sue my child because I paid her leccy bill? And she's on benefits? That's mad. My children know if they got stuck, they can just pass me that bill...... Payback? They can make me a tea. They owe me nothing.
