Thanks Matthias! It was a mix of both we shot some of these shots in ZRAW and other in the H.265 10bit. All of the content you see here was shot at 60FPS and slowed down in post production for playback at 24FPS.
Reef Photo & Video nicely done. I really like the result. One other question if you don’t mind... What editing software did you use and how easy was it to work with the footage inside the software?
@@MatthiasLebo We used FCPX for editing. The ZRAW files are not supported natively in the software so we had to use the ZRAW Video Suite (free download off Z Cam website) to color correct and grade the ZRAW video files and than transcode them to Pro Res for the final edit in FCPX. The H.265 files worked great however in FCPX and can be worked with natively. Recording in ProRes RAW with an Atomos Ninja V would have been the way to go in our case as you can work with ProRes RAW natively in FCPX, but we didn't have a housing for the Ninja V available at the time of shooting this. Which editing software are you currently using? By the way we don't know if you caught this already but we have a full review on the camera/housing focused on its' benefits for underwater filmmaking available here: th-cam.com/video/c9RkV3d9ZKQ/w-d-xo.html Any other questions are welcomed! we're happy to offer any insight that we can to help.

Awesome, where did you film it?
Thanks Fabio! This was shot at Rainbow River in Florida. It's a state park with a freshwater spring nearby that keep the water so clear year round.
