15:11 , yep, totally agree with your opinion that PSA got a full grade tougher, especially after Covid. I managed to get a lot of 9s and 10s from 70s/ early 80s baseball before Covid. Even managed to get a few 10s with centering worse then 55/45 back then too.
If I snapped all of them out today, I would expect a full grade lower on each one. Great observation.
Exactly…those vintage slabs I showed during the second half of the vid would grade a whole grade lower these days. I’m glad you were able to sneak in some good grades on vintage before covid hit 🙌 Thanks for watching! LV

Awesome collection and love the Gaylord Perry looks like a 68 topps and would definitely grade it if I had it as it may not come back a 10 but even a 5 or 6 sgc of it would make the card look sweet

I was definitely jealous…I think I helped him grade 3 of his jordan rc’s. One got a 9, one 8, and one 5.
That pack pulled Griffey looks really centered up. Can't wait to see what that one gets!
On my final round of checking it before submitting, I noticed a little weird lifting to bottom left edge, so I’m thinking mint
9 now :( But I’d still be happy with a 9. It was fun to pull!
As always great video! Love the change of pace you throw in there on your videos. Awsome cards. Not enough can be said for your moral compass of all parties getting a fair deal. It's alot of work (time) in speculating on those vintage commons. It's an area I focus on too, but as I said, still haven't taken the plunge to actually sell anything. I was at an estate sale, last day. There were 2- 2 row boxes so about 2000 cards, they wanted 20$ each for 81' topps commons. I didn't have alot of time so offered 30 for both. Unfortunately it was a space of like 60# so i got 25-35 of each common. Say card #571, i got 30 of those, #572, 30 of those and so on.
Sorry I'm always long winded on my comments. Anyway are u still taking submissions for pre grades? I know that video is like 10 mo ago and you said you'd only mention it that once. Just asking rather than email u there, lol.

Cool collection! I don’t know a lot about 80s and below sets. 90s and 2000s are what I started collecting. You can still make decent money with graded 4s and 5s from 50s and 60s? I do have some damaged 20s and 30s cards but the backs are blank so it’s more a picture than a card.

Were the 86 Fleer and 60 Topps boxes included in the “first part”? If so, I think that was a great buy. Did you say 43 slabs for $2200? So like $50 per slab? Seems like most of the slabs value will be in the 86 Fleer? The vintage is mostly below collector grade, which I think can be difficult to move for more than $50 per, for players not named Mantle or Koufax.
Thanks! Yeah, the 86 fleer and 60 topps display boxes were included in that first part 👍 Gotta get them listed but I think it was a great buy too. I paid $1600 for the 43 slabs, so about $37-$40 per which I’m happy with. The mantle MK already sold for $175. Thanks for your comment and support of my channel! LV
