Great films not sure why it took me so long to get The secret of my success. Actually just popped it in, can’t help but now I want to do a Michael J. Fox marathon. Back to the Future, Teen Wolf, The Hard Way & Doc Hollywood.
23:37 I almost bought 'Alien Outlaw' during this ongoing Kino Lorber Christmas sale since it's been $9.99 for a while and that cover is just perfect. The movie is terrible, but there's no denying that the cover is awesome; a real eye-grabber (Everything you could want to see in a horror or sci-fi movie poster or cover with its great illustration, gorgeous colours, etc.), and a cool display piece on any media shelf. :)
Glad you enjoyed the haul, I’ve got Willow and Robin Hood 4ks coming in from France. That was was it for December. 2025 looks like it’s going to be great year for physical media.
@@80sMadeConsumertoo many… lol 😂 some Kino from their winter wonderland sale. Vinegar syndrome Black Friday sale. I also picked some studio releases. Great month for physical media
I’ll be sure to move those to the top of the list. Goldie Hawn & Burt I’m all in, I’d watch anything with her in it. This afternoon I just rewatched Bird On a Wire.
What was a movie released in 2024 you would recommend?
THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS, written by the guys who wrote TOP GUN and LEGAL EAGLES. 1986-1987 were good for them!

@@80sMadeConsumer He did a movie called LIGHT OF DAY that's great and no one knows about, from the writer of TAXI DRIVER

Yeah the poster art is definitely bait and switch
I figured, the art was too good to pass up. I’ll probably try and get the poster now out of spite haha
Audition is such a good blind buy. I wish I could rewatch that again for the first time
Awesome, looking forward to it!
Great Haul 👌👌👌👌👌

@ yeah it was I didn’t go overboard this month but could have easily. Too many sales.
Great haul
Thanks! I've got a few more coming in. 2 titles from France. Willow & Robin Hood 4ks
HEIST with Gene Hackman and Danny DeVito is a great "heist" movie....also THE HOT ROCK with Robert Redford
I love HEIST never knew anyone who saw that one. Melting the gold absolute genius. The Hot Rock is something I’ll check out.
@@80sMadeConsumer If you like con man movies, David Mamet also did HOUSE OF GAMES and THE SPANISH PRISONER, which are fantastic!
THE HARD WAY is a classic, co-written by the guy who wrote THE LIMEY, THE SCORE and DARK CITY!
Wow didn’t release that and I still need to watch The Limey. The Score is such an underrated film.
BEST FRIENDS with Burt Reynolds and Goldie Hawn is a great one still not on bluray. SHARKEY'S MACHINE is fantastic, though. RENT A COP is fun!
