The podcast started with the definition of power and was aptly concluded with how ‘power’ can be used to create an identity of a nation (not necessary that it has to be your own country). Yet another informational session from Abhijit sir.

The podcast titled "@AbhijitChavda on Pakistani Spies, Putin’s War, and Indo-China Geopolitics | Dostcast" features Abhijit Chavda discussing various geopolitical issues, focusing on Pakistan, Russia's war in Ukraine, and the Indo-China relationship.
    **Key Points:**
    1. **Definition of Power:**
    - Chavda defines power as the ability to command and control.
    - Highlights that soft power, cultural influence, and other elements are meaningless without hard power, the ability to command and control territorially.
    2. **Pakistan's Geopolitical Situation:**
    - Describes Pakistan as a vassal state or a satellite state of the U.S., highlighting its historical role as a counterbalance to India and serving U.S. geopolitical interests.
    - Points out the dominance of the Pakistan Army and ISI (intelligence) in the country, indicating that official political leaders are often figureheads with limited power.
    3. **Imran Khan's Rise to Power:**
    - Discusses Imran Khan's popularity in Pakistan due to his success as a cricket captain, leading the team to victory in the 1992 World Cup.
    - Notes that Khan's political platform was initially anti-imperialist, but he later aligned Pakistan with China as the U.S. lost interest.
    4. **Pakistan's Role in Terrorism:**
    - Discusses Pakistan's historical role as a proxy for the U.S., particularly during the Soviet-Afghan War in the 1980s, where the U.S. funded mujahideen through Pakistan.
    - Emphasizes that Pakistan has been a source of terrorism, funded and financed by the U.S., operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
    5. **Power Projection and Comprehensive National Power (CNP):**
    - Explains power projection as a measure of a nation's ability to command and control beyond its territorial borders.
    - Introduces the concept of Comprehensive National Power (CNP), a holistic measure that considers various factors, not just GDP.
    6. **China's Power vs. U.S. Power:**
    - Challenges the notion that China is on par with the U.S. in terms of power, emphasizing that it is not a match. Uses the example of extraterritorial military bases as a measure of power projection.
    7. **Mislabeling China's Power:**
    - Questions why China is often labeled alongside Russia and the U.S., asserting that China's power is nowhere close to the U.S. and should not be considered a direct competitor.
    **Insightful Commentary:**
Chavda provides a critical perspective on power dynamics, emphasizing the role of hard power in international relations. He demystifies the notion of soft power, highlighting that true influence comes from a nation's ability to command and control. Additionally, he sheds light on the complex geopolitical landscape of Pakistan, where elected leaders have limited authority compared to the dominant military and intelligence apparatus.
    **Note:**
The summary encapsulates the video's main points; however, for a detailed understanding, watch the entire video.

@@Pappa261 I don't take issue with his opinion, but labeling someone as a national treasure because you believe they're imparting exceptional wisdom on a TH-cam podcast is, at the very least, amusing. I don't have any particular problem with Abhijit Chavda, but if he's considered a national treasure, then we seem to have rather low standards for our own country. As far as that subreddit is concerned, it's akin to any other subreddit filled with ill-informed individuals seeking their own echo chamber. If you believe the other Indian subreddit or any other subreddit is superior, then you're, at the very least, naive.

The culture and my observations is most of students who study humanities more studied like Western concepts and less Indianized. Even cultural observation is similar - more western than Indian curriculum. Anyone from PDEU can correct me here.

Excellent expert. We have to introspect. Where is South Indian history in Indian curriculum? Where are the great the glorious civilization history of the South Indians. The great Cholas, Cheras, Pandyas, Vijayanagaram. The influence of the great empires on South Asia, South east Asia, all the way to China, trading with European empires, Arabs etc. All we are taught is the rape of North India by Islamic tyrants. What is great about Akbar the “ great”? He was a different version of Aurangzeb. Let us Lear about Raja Raja Chola, Rajendra Chola, influence on Cambodia to Sumatra to China to Thailand. Let us revise the curriculum. Buddhism spread was also were through South India.

Vinamre only one advice. Ur a great podcaster and i actually look for ur podcasts than any other Indian podcaster at this time. But u have to learn to modulate ur voice and interrupt guests less. Just keep in mind that ur guests are in a flow when they are speaking. So when u interrupt with a question that is often intelligent, it still breaks the flow and sounds jarring. The voice modulation is important because of something that u would b already knowing. Even when u say something soothing, it comes across as jarring on the Mike. Voice can be modulated. Watch the best of podcasters...from Smita prakash to Piers Morgan to so many of them...sincere advice

A very big difference and perhaps a very important factor for internal stability between India vs China, is that China is a predominantly atheist nation & the CCP clamps down on religious fundamentalism. India is probably the exact opposite & is unable to squash religious fundamentalism. Indian politics is almost entirely fought on religious differences.

The Sino-Soviet Ussuri River Border Dispute - dating back to when China conceded land to Tsarist Russia through the Treaty of Peking in 1860 but wanted it back and attacked the USSR troops. Flared up in 1969, got settled in 1979. The USA found an ally in China with this. Sounds stupid. Need to read up a bit on this.

A suggestion, you shouldn’t interrupt AC this much. He has more knowledge to share than what you can ask for. I saw Abhijit sir, and boom! It did meet all expectations I had for the podcast.
