When I was 30 I had a complete hysterectomy. I hadn’t heard from any coworkers and when I returned to work most avoided me. I finally asked someone what was going on. Come to find out a female colleague told folks I had an abortion which made others feel uncomfortable and didn’t know how to approach me. I’m now 77 and find that there are those who will say anything about anyone because of their own shortcomings. So bless you for just moving on. It’s your life so live as you want. Say what you want. Be you is the greatest gift you can give!

Oh Sharon, I remember years ago how ppl were always being ugly to you and it used to upset me so bad. You & Susan always did stuff that would make me laugh!! You were so sweet you was going to even send me a wig when I first started losing my hair. I'll never forget that gesture! My sweet hubby passed away on March 15th this year at only 66. We'd been together for 50 years (2yrs dating, 48 married). I feel so depressed now and seldom does any of our friends text or call to check on me. I've been having to use a walker now for a long time cause my back has became a mess and I still deal with all the fibromyalgia stuff. Its hard for me to get around, so I guess thats why no one wants me to go anywhere with them. I spend most of my time now in my room, crying and miserable. Happy belated birthday to you and sweet Susan! My son's birthday was the 14th & hubby's would've been the 26th. Oh Sharon, I remember years ago how ppl were always being ugly to you and it used to upset me so bad. You & Susan always did stuff that would make me laugh!! You were so sweet you was going to even send me a wig when I first started losing my hair. I'll never forget that gesture! My sweet hubby passed away on March 15th this year at only 66. We'd been together for 50 years (2yrs dating, 48 married). I feel so depressed now and seldom does any of our friends text or call to check on me. I've been having to use a walker now for a long time cause my back has became a mess and I still deal with all the fibromyalgia stuff. Its hard for me to get around, so I guess thats why no one wants me to go anywhere with them. I spend most of my time now in my room, crying and miserable. Happy belated birthday to you and sweet Susan! My son's birthday was the 14th & hubby's would've been the 26th. My son & daughter-in-love are trying to get moved into the house with me, but they both work. It's just so unbelievable how people are anymore. Don't pay them no mind, they ain't worth it! FEW of us can help in a big way; if you can, please do it, Help the underprivileged, fix a vehicle. Give rides to appointments, social services, job interviews to people you know enough to trust. Give donations of food to food banks, Clean out and donate clothing ,especially coatsand outerwear, blankets, pillows,and sl÷ping bags, Remember the needy while appreciating your security.
Even if, like so many, you can't afford this kind of ,generosity, you could give a few meals left on your pantry shelf orfrom food pantries unused items, :some clothing items or extra beddidg, and if possible with an extra needle and dark and light thread, even scissors if you can, with a few pins, Coats of all sizes, even if worn, are very much needed. A few bucks is always helpful
If you're not able to give materially, give a little of yourself Sincerely appreciate and compliment a job well done. Greet strangers, if possible by names on their name tags, Smile,and close the distance we are afraid not to maintain, Be courteous, Be responsible for spreading love and mediating hate.
