Really enjoyed the breakdown. It was precisely the sound I was after and struggling to replicate. Lovely tip about the shimmering reverb, by the way!

I hear if you look in the mirror and say “Alckemy” 3 times with the lights off someone farts with a notch filter

I've mostly stuck with Serum and Vital until now, thinking Phaseplant is a little too daunting for me. However, tried it for a bit yesterday and honestly it clicked pretty quickly! Very powerful and a good way to get out of the constant 'FM from B' workflow. The ability to stack a lot of great FX and the freedom to create a lot of creative movement in the plugin itself, even before post-processing and resampling is very nice.
Also have to say I really like your logo! Anything that combines a bit of that occult feeling with futuristic elements really does it for me for some reason.
Oh, and nice tutorial of course!

if you know one of those three you really know them all imo

@@Alckemy Vital and Serum for sure. They're almost the same plugin with minor differences. Experience with either or both of them helps in Phaseplant, but I do feel like I approach sound design a little differently compared to Vital or Serum. Could just be me of course! All three of them are powerful tools though.

Damn, so many great pointers and tips in this vid (as well as the one you did on the trip hop drums)! I’ve been following along using Vital and the free effect plugins provided by Kilohearts. Love the use of the formant filter and shimmer reverb to add some ethereal texture to the pad! Subscribed

Sí, la planta de fase se ejecuta en F l, pero el proceso y el enfoque funcionarán con los efectos de la primera parte

Hey man, brilliant tutorial! It’s clear, concise and focussed, but most importantly you’re explaining the mechanics of the sound and the processes as you go along so that someone else can take your tutorial and recreate the process using other software or hardware! You’re actually teaching the concepts of building the sound while you demonstrate it, instead of just demonstrating it, which is why your tutorial is so good! Please keep this format super helpful
