I've seen a few of your guides and the thing that really stands out about this one is how you explain things. It's not just a step-by-step walk through on how to make a specific sound. You do a great job explaining your end goal and what each step in the process adds to achieve it.

*Looks like a really awesome synth! I'd like to see more tutorials to showcase what it's capable of. I'm sure that this will inspire more producers to buy your VST as well as the patches or presets you plan on selling along with it. I look forward to more. Thank you for sharing.*

Cool tutorial! One thing I've always was worried about with such complex pads is... Usability. Unless you make such pad exclusively for large portion of track/your track is ambient consisting only of pads, it's kinda impossible to incorporate this beauty into your music. Too much is going on to actually put something above this. Sure, we can make it quieter or side chain instruments above it... But it's a shame to push something like this under "leading' instrument.
    Dilemma 😂

I feel you there. Sometimes it sucks to work on something just to have it be a supporting element nobody really notices but usually its those details in the background that really make your mix stand out even if its subtle.
A lot of my favorite ambient patches ive made usually have to get pushed really far back in the mix during the chorus to the point that I barely hear them outside of the intro but usually whenever I try to take them out the mix feels “empty” in a way.
You have to be careful with them since too much will completely take up the entire mix and too little wont really add anything at all. I use them as a subtle texture in those areas where they arnt really there to be heard but rather add a bit of texture or depth to the song

A pad is what they call a flat or suite appartment in germany
So i guess its called a pad, conotating the sterile post industrial futurist lack of organic emotion in modern minimalist interior design.

You really know what you're doing, but I don't. I'd really prefer to have explanation for a lot of the steps you're going through. Why are you highpassing this? Why are you putting phaser on that? I can follow along with this video but it goes by so fast I don't really learn much.

Wsg man, I wouldn’t say I’m an expert at sound design and music production but I do have a couple years under my belt at this point. Most of everything he did was juss messing around and experimenting with different things, then doing stuff like high passing it and throwing on a delay for mixing purposes and sound effects. Music is such a confusing topic but so much fun when you understand what you’re doing, lmk if this helps at all 👍🏾👌🏾
