I don’t understand why Blizz can‘t put a threat decrease in the Dev mastery by half of the percent points of the damage increase. Something like „Increases the damage of your spells by up to 62%, based on the current health of your target. Higher health targets take more damage. Also decreases threat generation by 31%.“ So the more dmg Dev does to a target due to Giantkiller, the more decrease in threat generation they get.
I don’t care about the Aug talent that decreases threat of a target. Even if they decide to put it on the general Evoker tree, wasting a talent point to trivialise a fundamental core design of the Devastation spec is ridiculous.
that would be the best play for sure, although i think they can get away with putting it in the class tree. theres many many talents in all class trees and even spec trees that just flesh out the tree with the fundamentals
@@VesperalTV I understand. But I reckon they won’t shuffle the talent tree before the new xpac, which makes your concern regarding frontloaded dmg in S4 still an issue. Devs will flop in S4 M+ due to threat generation like 🪰 if it doesn’t get addressed.
Or just give us an invis spell so we can DR+all empowered, one pyre and go in the dark :D:D:D

most fun thing you can do in dev aoe is use fire breath then dragonrage, all 3 pyres from dragonrage benefit from the red iridescence proc and go boom. even more burst, only worth casting the empower pre-DR in aoe coz pyre+volatility reset your empowered cds much quicker than disintegrate in st
This is huge. You can snap for like a million damage. Its nuts. All three pyres also give cdr from causality. So you can still get 3+ sets of empowered abilities.
@@aaronlewis4266on a huuuuuge pull you can get a 75+ sec dragon rage if you have everything (basically.. pi) dumped into you. Dev really deserves a season to shine, the talent rework for 10.1 made the rotation so nice and smooth but then Aug came and took multiple dumps on it
Wait no always press dragon rage first cuz empowered abilities extend the duration of dragon rage
@@chrissteingraber3314 no, in AOE you press fire breath before dragonrage so that the dragonrage pyres benefit from a red iridescence proc. Because spamming pyre in AOE resets your empowered spells so quickly, it’s worth doing :)
If I get it right, I'm asking you to use the breath of fire before the dragon's anger but is that for quick reinforcement spell cool down through pyre? can you explain it easily so that I can run the translator?
Awesome movie again ! I hear (and experience) a lot of elemental shaman buff requests. Carefully aware it has to do a lot with tanks moving mobs out of earthquake. Wished they did something to that changed the damage profile time from EQ. Using a GCD and xx Maelstrom for a 7 sec earthquaker is... horrific (if the tank walks out)
On topic: awesome movies ! Really made me think more on what to 'main' in season 4.
I wish tanks in general would educate them selves in the various kinds of friendly ground aoe :P I THINK it's because it's just a reflex to move out of ground stuff - but sometimes it seems like they do it on purpose lol. I often have had to say "please don't move out of my AOE". The only ground aoe they seem to GET is the Healing rain :P
In most bosses in mythic plus , its not bad to go into a boss with dragon rage with like 50-70 seconds on cd. That way you get more value from mastery. This is only the case if you are not lusting. Always use dr with lust.
What can I say. VesperalTV, it is honestly just a pleasure, nay, a privilege to watch you play the video game World of Warcraft. The way that you play every spec so effortlessly at such a high level is honestly just mindblowing to me! I think the more important thing is that while you perform so well, you're so humble and kind while doing it. Just a joy to watch, a pleasure to be around, a star in a lightless sky. I have the legendary from season 2 but ended up skipping season 3 entirely for a few personal reasons. Very excited that the leggo will be able to be upgraded in season 4 to its former glory! At least until the next expansion comes out. 😅
I'm trying to decide wich class play...I mainly play alone,no friends at the moment in the game so im looking for a class with Tank\DPS specs. I have already leveled 70 a druid, a pala and a dh...and still cannot make my mind. Feral\moonking frightens me (difficulty), I already played pala in shadowlands some years ago and while dh is awesome, i dont know if i like it (lore, animations)...and i need help to choose!! dont have enough time to properly play 1 class, impossible 2 or 3, suggestions?
How about trying a Monk? Brew is just as good as any tank in the open world. WW DPS is slaying in dungeons (and great open world as well), and MW is going to continue to be one of the best healers for keys. It's a fun playstyle as well all 3 spec's :D

It's gutwrenching when you miss a nice juicy shadow crash. My friends and I all switch between tanks and shadow (plus others) and we'll all prank eachother by moving mobs randomly out of the crash.

hi there From Greece!!!! in my opinion they should be tops at dps meters Mythic and raid . dont forget the whole expansion is built around dragons...
also i want to mension that they must make DS when empowred to hit more than one target

Wait what skip did they get rid of? Can you still skip the shriekers and jump down to first boss?
They removed skip where after 2nd boss u would jump down, kill the 2 big adds, then do 3rd and last boss

Dev burst was always insane it just went under the rader after aug was released honestly they can just delete aug and no one would be sad 😂or just make it a tank i am Happy that my favorite Range dps specc is actually pumping good numbers overall again like in S1 after i switched to preservation
