meh, agree with the conversation, kinda a direct Bud swap....good culture, good fit but not sure a guy Bud beat is going to move the needle on coaching brilliance....think a Monty hire would put more emphasis on the roster which probably isn't really changing.
well giannis did have a great series, I don't think the wall would've made a difference. and if you're thinking the heat did it this year, no it was more giannis beating himself , a little injured and he was mentally weak. the bucks need a coach to remind what they're capable of and especially giannis. I've seen giannis do things that no player has ever done. I think mark jackson would be a better fit. he played the game and almost beat jordan and the bulls when he was with the pacers back in 1998

If we get Monty I'm not watching next year. He's just a non starter if we want to be serious. Getting blown out by 30 in elimination games back to back years is an indictment on him as a coach who's job is to get his team ready and with a good game plan. No contender should even consider him, only young teams who need a vibes guy. If this happens Horst will be home within 12 months when we flame out again.

Difference is bucks have defense . They just need someone to come in and draw some different plays up other than drop coverage which gets us killed all the time. Plus more offensive plays cause a lot of times we look like we freestyling plays offensively

Monty Williams is a good coach, and though one could make the case that the talent level of the team is the reason why they won with him. Trouble is, there are a lot of talented teams who don't get it done, and all the Sun's players were not that talented prior to Williams arrival so he helped develop them. One could say the same about Coach Bud.

Why the Bucks are dredging up retreads with losing records and coaches that couldn’t get over the hump even with great talent..is mind boggling. They are treating this hiring as if they are Detroit or Charlotte. With Giannis in his prime they cannot screw this up. Draymond Green just said last week that the whole team…their stars were upset that Mark Jackson was fired. He said he had the total respect of the players and they believed in him. He was fired over being public with his religious beliefs and rubbed many the wrong way. He has to have learned from that…if he has half a brain. I like him or making play for Kerr (ya warriors got both those hires right). This is a job that is extremely coveted..Bucks need to treat it as such.

The Bucks desperately need someone to challenge Giannis by putting a foot in his ass and getting him to play an offensive game that is tailored to what he's actually capable of. Giannis charging into the wall is not working. He gets his numbers, but every time they actually move the ball around and get others involved it works so much better. Way better than everyone else just standing around waiting their turn when Giannis can't bust through the wall.

Kevin Durant is overrated.. He got sweep last year at Brooklyn on won with The 73 win warriors.. Every team can make it to the finals.. Trade the Suns Center for Myles Turner and get Fred van fleet for Chris Paul who seems to get hurt come playoffs every year

I'd say no to Monty. He doesn't adjust either and got beat by Bud. If we can get Lue I'd be down with that. If not, Atkinson or Vogel, maybe Quinn.

I’m not sure that Bucks fans are the best judge of who should coach the team. We simply don’t have the inside insights to have an informed opinion.
It’s hard to know who the right hire is but it’s not that hard to see a coaches actual postseason resume and say “ehhh no thanks”.
I think judging coaches is always an extremely difficult task.
