I contacted Thomas, and he made me the hover kit. Extremely happy with it! Just finished putting it on my Delorean and it was simple and looks amazing! Thanks to Danoby2 for the heads up on this - and thanks to Tom for the excellent service & product!
The funny thing is that the Hot Toys DeLorean is probably the same size as the studio scale models used for BTTF2's flying scenes and the train sequences in BTTF3. So, you've probably got a studio scale model replica there.
Modified quote from BTTF: "Do you have a Hot Toys Delorean?" "Yeah! You know, we have two of them." "Wow! You must me rich!" "Honey, he's teasing you NOBODY has two Hot Toys Deloreans!"
Just found your channel during our quarantine. The square piece to hold down the rails are called "tie plates" that you nail a spike into. Keep up the great model building
Wow, Danoby! It‘s just WOW! 😲 The new wheels modification makes the DeLorean look more accurate to the floating version from the part II. The wiring makes it look a little bit odd though. But still it is the best conversion with illuminated wheels so far. And I have to say that I like the mark III version even more! That’s a great job your friends and you have done on these projects! All those specially created props - that’s magnificent! My congratulations! 👍
OMG DANOBY!!!!!!! I am speechless! I am amazed!!!! Great video awesome customs! I was worried that you only had 1 DeLorean, QUITE pleased that you are able to display #'s 2 and 3! Awesome!!!!!
Вы проделали очень качественную и красивую работу, удачи вам в дальнейшем) You have done a very high-quality and beautiful job, good luck in the future)
Good job. One little detail for your Delorean, the wooden box doctor put on the trunk is actually a Pepsi crate and says Pepsi-Cola on the side. I think i was left hand side.
Only thing it's missing is the underside sequential lights. Also, I still wish there was a good mod for time circuits to light up. That's really odd that Hot Toys didn't do that.
So, I talked to Danoby about seeing if there was a way to vacuum form a false underside of the car to have those lights. Only issue is then all the painting and such plus it's a boat load of wiring and circuitry to have them flash in sequence, so for now, I didn't design it. If anything, I am going to make flux bars like this: imgur.com/901brUZ
Excellent work my friend I guess my patience paid off hot toys is finally making the mark 2 it on pre order I would love to have that mark 3 as well but I have no space ☹️
Me: Railroad enthusiast. Danoby2: Railroad tracks, rail planks, and clips. Me: Groans at the bad terminology. Just to help you out if you ever do this again it's rails, ties, and tie plates. The parts that join the rails together are called fishplates.
Man...that is great. not many people would have the blls/money to change Their HT delorean. I'm still hopeful for HT BTTF 3 figures. Doc with his rifle/ice cubes in a glass etc., Marty with a frisbee/Peacemaker etc.
That really did look fun converting the delorean for railroad (imagination is part of the fun)...I'd love to see more mods for this model like the white wall tires...little tweaks here and there to get it much closer to how it appears in the films like a way to replace the lightning rod box with the box unit for part 2 and 3...I imagine the eaglemoss hood box with the mods might very well look good fit properly on this model if the scale is the same.
@@Danoby2 just noticed the scales for both models are a little different 1/8 and 1/6...the eaglemoss hood box (buy separate from the car) has like thin leather material for straps that fit under the hood...but since the scales are different...yeah it wouldn't quite fit.
omg, this is the coolest thing ever! i wish i had to balls to change my hot toys delorean but i just cant bring myself to even try, id prolly break it xD
thomas beattie don’t ever stop making these bro! I plan on getting a delorean but it’s gonna be in a couple of years after I finish Med school and imma be knocking on your door for a conversion!

I wish I could afford just ONE of those.. I would be more than happy with just plain old mark 1... (Mark 2 would be my choice) but the places I have found the HotToys 1/6 scale cars are like $2000+. Now dont get me wrong. I am a HUGE BTTF fan and to me it is worth every penny.. but I do have ONE minor gripe about the HotToys version.. now Im not sure if the hood sits too low or the cab itself sits too high, but that windshield area (compared to both movie and smaller replicas) just looks a little too big to me.. Kind of like Barbies corvette (dont judge, I have a daughter lol) Honestly, if it werent for all the horror stories Ive heard (missing/broken part, not getting issues in order, missing issues, billing issues, etc...) Id just get the eaglemoss version.. even though its a bit smaller than the BigToys version.. Id much rather have this one though.
Curious who you used to make you the transistor box for bttf3 conversion? I just got the set from Tom! Looking to make it as close to screen accurate as possible!
That's such an amazing mod!! I think we might need you in the garage and help us upgrade a few of our real Time Machines at DeloreanRental.com hahaha job well done my friend!
I’ve got a question for you... what size is the wheel base.. I do model railroading and our track is 7.5 inches wide... would this fit on there? Or could the wheel base be modified to fit our track?
Check on a Company Called LGB they make Garden Scale Loco's...Steam era that might just fit this scene..barring that connect with a local Model railroad group and see if they have an old used one they no longer want..you could custom it up and Ta Da have the whole scene..this all looks amazing..good work.
@@boomfigures6268 This is True..but there is quarter scale Steam engines as well but those are pretty pricey..was thinking even with the scale off maybe a forced perspective might work.
You almost wish you had a locomotive? You NEED the locomotive to complete that piece, and Doc's train also; and Marty's outfit needs an update. That project should be your next few vids.

That hover conversion is missing the green lights in the bottom of the body
Hi Chris, I was debating on creating a vacuform 'phony' bottom that had lights in it, that snapped in place, but presently, it's been on hold.
