I’ve always wanted to recreate this movie scene from back to the future 3, it’s such an iconic movie and who doesn’t like seeing an empty train flying off the end of a partially completed bridge!
I was a little bit nervous sending the $400 locomotive off the end of the bridge, it was quite a spectacular train crash... about as good as it gets for HO scale anyway 😄 But don't worry, the train survived with minimal damage, I had a soft towel below the bridge and I caught it in my hands before it hit the ground. The only damage was the 3D printed cow catcher which was easily enough glued back in place.
This diorama is built in HO scale and for such a small scene the model is actually quite large, it measures 1.2m long by 40cm wide which is on the larger end of the various dioramas I’ve built in the past.
I hope you enjoy watching and if you’d like to further support the channel be sure to subscribe.
Don't forget to check out www.bouldercreekrailroad.com and find out exactly where wally was hiding!

I was thinking, you know what could be wonderful and also a childhood’s dream ? A huge diorama as the one we can see in the movie The Night at Museum with the far west and the trains

YES, I love that scene, I was watching that movie about 3 weeks ago and thought the exact same thing! It's definitely a project I have on the cards, just need to figure out how to work out the space I'll need.

Luke, your work is absolutely amazing! I came across your channel awhile back and just wasn’t aware that such things were even possible-while instantly becoming addicted to trying to make them myself. You have truly inspired me and with the help of your tutorials I have spent countless hours of pure enjoyment making these so Thank You! I’ve always had a thing for rivers and streams which is why your Muddy river diorama caught my eye. I have made a few small outdoor water features with plants over the course or my life and had recently made one for inside and was about halfway through my second one when I came across your channel. After seeing what is possible in regards to the realism of the modeling world I have become addicted to TRYING to mix the two.
You sir, WOULD ABSOLUTELY NAIL IT!
This is not a challenge. I’ve seen your videos. This would be a walk in the park!
This is just a humble request that maybe one day you throw it into your mix of pure awesomeness!
Either way, I look forward to the continued stream of top notch information delivered in tutorials that are the same quality as your finished projects-PERFECT!

It is great to see you back Luke after being AWOL the last few months, so I hope you are well, fit, and able again. Plus, what a great diorama to come back with, of the classic B2TF scene with Train and DeLoren car. As per usual with your hints, tips, and scenic building all excellently explained while filmed and edited for wonderful viewing. The special effects for the car and train end of the line clip were amusing to boot. Hopefully, it won't be long until we see you again with another stunning design, welcome back to the present my friend.

If you're having issues with the airbrush giving you a bleeding effect on the edges, try polishing the needle. A lot of cheap and new airbrush needles can have imperfections that aren't noticeable to the naked eye and polishing can help crisp up the edges.

Amazing, I’ve been waiting for this one for a little while after seeing the teasers on your Instagram! An idea for a film scene (it’s a sort of obscure film but you may have heard of it) the 1986 movie “Malcolm”, recreating one of the scenes where he’s on his home made tram, or the end scene where they go over the bridge on his tram. Great video as always!

In Lego Dimensions, they play with the fact that the clock tower resides in all the time periods and you can travel from the town square in 1885, 1985, and 2015.
Could be a fun project to do all three - especially since you can double up on some of the models. Maybe a few bits can be a base that you add wood/brick/concrete siding to? I'm spitballing here, but love to see the dedication to recreation here.
