This was a bit of a whirlwind. What I thought the movie was about kept changing, but it (MOSTLY) never stopped being fun! This movie is loud, profane, gross, and somehow left my faith reinvigorated? I hope you enjoyed my From Dusk Til Dawn movie reaction & commentary

Original Movie: From Dusk Til Dawn (1996)
The "stereotypical action hero" is Blaxploitation legend Fred Williamson, star, amongst others, of the original Inglorious Bastards.
This movie is just so much gory fun, the pacing, the one-liners, the unique premise, and even though it's like two films in one in all pulls together at the end.
The black man is Fred Williamson. Former NFL player known as The Hammer and big in the 70's Blaxplotation movies. He was the inspiration for Slade in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.
Love this movie. Thanks for reacting ❤
I know this movie must be a nightmare to edit for youtube, especially once they get to the Titty Twister especially lol, but man do I love seeing people react to it. It's a wild ride from start to finish. I think Seth Gecko is my favorite fictional bank robber, George Clooney killed it as the bad guy!
There is a version of that entry scene that was visually edited for tv. It looked pretty good.
his foot fetish even in a film made by someone else haha. And love how Cheech Marin was multiple characters :)
well, Quintin co wrote the movie , i am pretty sure he wrote that particular part for himself.
They made a TV show out of this. Goes way into the lore… the part I loved most is when they turned into their vampire form (instead), they’re all snake Aztec themed. Not Romanian bats. One of the few “movie plot that expands on the movie” that did a better job than the actual movie did.
These were South American bat themed vampires.
Aztec vampires. 😂😂😂

Speaking of payback, I hope you will some day react to the awesome but little-known Payback (1999), starring Mel Gibson.
Oh boy... I anticipate this reaction with curiosity...
Sex machine was played by the amazing Tom Savini
One of my favorite movies
"Do they look like psycho's? Psycho's don't explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!" - Best line I still quote to this day lol
My favorite line👍😂
Psychos do not explode when sunlight touches them, I don't give a F how crazy they are😂
When it comes to Rodriquez/Tarantino films, both wrote and directed segments of Four Rooms (1995).
Wrong. Rodriguez wrote and directed "The Misbehavers", Tarantino wrote, directed, and starred in "The Man From Hollywood". The other two stories were written and directed by Allison Anders ("The Missing Ingredient") and Alexandre Rockwell ("The Wrong Man").
@@ZoeDuneCorp And where have I said anything different?
@@Fred_L. the way you said it made it read like they did all of the four rooms. I have to weigh in in such a way that the other two rooms aren't ignored because since that movie came out, most hated the first two rooms and only liked the ones Rodriguez and Tarantino did. Reading it again, you're referring to segments and not the entire film. That's completely different from what I've said. In general, no one seems to have reacted to Four Rooms and I feel a reaction channel would only benefit from that cult classic.
Cheech as a borderguard always makes me laugh because in Born In East LA he plays he plays a Mexican-American who is deported to Mexico and harrassed by several US border guards, who do not believe he is native American, even though he speaks perfect English. Such an underrated film!
Mate, hope you don't mind but our net froze at the perfect moment tonight watching this so we took a snap for a community post! Always excited for your reactions 🤗❤️
This movie may have the all-time best plot shift in a movie. It starts out as a gritty and dark story about fugitive brothers on the run and takes the most sudden left turn ever into splatterhouse vampire horror.
Dios mio, I saw this when it first came out and Selma and the Snake put me on a whole new trajectory in life ❤️🔥
The series was really good also. Worth a watch

Robert Rodriguez's gift to Tarantino
2009 Daybreakers is a good vampire movie
what always bugs me is, all the time the Vet was making the speech. they could of been making crosses, and craving them into the floor and walls. an any surface you could. would of prevented the vamps, also would of made the battlefield harder for them to swarm our people. also side note, vampires arent from hell. common misconception. there from purgatory, they are considered a monster not a demon
Cheech got so many parts in this movie, the border agent, the bar announcer, AND the guy they came to meet
that's how Mexicans are. always taking away jobs!!
Definitely not your standard Quentin movie, or vampire movie, but still just a whole lot of fun
I think there's a prequel with the gecko brothers
Yeah don't watch the series. Ok premise at first then got really bad and cancelled
I love this movie. It’s so weird.
“It’s unnecessary! …..but entertaining.”
Tarantino in a nutshell.
Yeah, that picture of Pete they use on the news is really disrespectful.
"If you try to run, I've got six little friends and they can all run faster than you can."
Fun Fact: Some of the body parts were from other films by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
Music Enthusiast Fact: The band playing in the Titty Twister is Tito & Tarantula, featuring Robert Rodriguez. The line-up also featured Oingo Boingo drummer Johnny 'Vatos' Hernandez.
Big Kahuna Burger Fact: The fast food that Seth (George Clooney) brings into the hotel clearly has the "Big Kahuna Burger" logo on the side of the bag. This is a clear shout out to the famous scene in Pulp Fiction (1994) just a couple years earlier.
Slytherin Shenanigans Fact: Salma Hayek has a real fear of snakes and has always refused to be near them. Naturally when she read the script, she knew her phobia would prevent her from taking the part. Robert Rodriguez conned her into thinking that Madonna was ready to nab the part instead, so Hayek spent two months with therapists to overcome her fear.
I love this movie, thank you for sharing your reaction! Aside from the vampire nightclub, I had a huge issue with Richie’s wound and that he didn’t at least wash it off and sanitize it….before covering it up with duct tape. Just a movie, I know.
of all of Richie's issues, you draw the line at his use of duct tape?! i love it.
Inspired? Cause it's the epitome of genres clashing together. You gotta Watch PLANET TERROR and DEATHPROOF The Double Feature with silly trailers called Grindhouse
I found the transition from crime film to vampire flick too abrupt and not really earned. They kind of fixed the problems I had with that in the movie in the tv series' first season.
This movie is awesome. You get so caught up in the crime narrative you forget it's a vampire movie. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them. I don't give a sh*t how crazy they are!
Hayek is a goddess.
The Lost Boys 1.5.9 PG ...... what so ever
10:27 I introduce you to the legend that is Tom Savini who is one of, if not the best prosthetic makeup artist alive, he's also an actor, stunt performer and film director, or as we'll call him here, "Sex Machine".
His buddy in the bar is his protégé, and the FX guy on this film.
My all time favorite Clooney movie❤😊great reaction😊
Evil Clooney is the Best Clooney.
Sorry, I'm off Clooney these days for turning on Pres. Biden.
There were sequels, but they in no way sequel. Skip!
I think they're fun. Not good, but fun.
The sheriff at the beginning also played the same character in Kill Bill.
🐍
the sequels kind of sucked, but they did make 3 seasons of a series on Netflix that followed what happened after this.
........⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️........
This is one of the most thoroughly entertaining movies from the 90s. The opening sequence is worth the price of admission alone.
I absolutely love Rodriguez. More than Tarantino, tbh. You definitely need to watch Desperado (1995) soon.
Also, Rodriguez' commentary tracks to his films are awesome, because he's so technically minded and manages to get extreme bang-for-the-buck out of tiny budgets.
Also the fact he gave a low budget film maker $1 million to thank him for not suing him as the story is very close to Vamp (1886). He could have been an a-hole and let lawyers stomp the guy.
I think Rodriguez is a really good film maker. But, there is no way in hell he is better than Tarantino!
My favorite character has always been sex machine AKA Tom savini one of the best makeup artists and creature creators in the business. He is the man who makes all of these vampires and he is a legend
Black kitty, white kitty, yellow kitty, smelly kitty, rotten kitty...
…little ball of fur? 😂
quentin tarantino is just an allstar i love him xD
stuff he has written is so good, i love this movie, but it doesnt come close to "Death Proof" or "true romance" which is my favorite movie written by tarantino
You got to give the man props for havinf the testicular fortitude to write the stripper/foot scene and then cast himself in the role
This and TRUE ROMANCE are better than anything Tarantino directed himself
Inspired is exactly how I felt when I first saw this. I wanted to smash all expectations with my writing!!
Damn Quentin's foot fetish rly gets problematic here xD
