So many memories, when I first discovered ICP j n shags both had dreads. Now I’m an old married man with a family and I visit old icp stuff at work before my shift starts. I miss going to the shows in Philly and connecting with juggalos you’ve never met before and instantly became friends and family.
My friend recorded it, he worked for Kid Rock interning for Top Dog Records. They booked The State Theatre for the show and he was taping in the lobby becuse Heather who did merchandise and Mike Clark who did production were up there. My other friend was the guy in-between J and Joey and the 3 came in together. At the time everyone knew each other.
Because the music scene in Detroit was pretty tight nit, you could get publicity and connections networking at other guy's shows. Kid Rock would even visit ICP's warehouse for their wrestling shows, while they were personal "beefing".
Its weird even tho ICP and Kid Rock used to diss each other back in the day they'd still hang out. Never really understood that. Kid Rock was even at the Great Milenko release party.
@@TwiztidWicked they actually admitted to paying him to be on Carnival of Carnage. He was a slightly bigger rapper in Detroit at the time so they thought his name being on the CD would help get them publicity. Kind of the same way Eminem said "ICP might show up"

Let's be real though. Either one of these guys would pretty effortlessly rip Eminem in half in a real fight. I'm a huge fan of both, and Eminem is clearly the better rapper, but in a fight he would get stomped out like a cigarette.

lol not a single thing you said was true. They didn't really get famous until 1997. They were already the Insane Clown Posse when they got famous. By 1993 they had released 4 albums. Three as the Inner City Posse and one as the Insane Clown Posse.
this is actually a beef that really was never touched upon passed kid rock's little blurb on his Early Morning Stoned Pimp CD, and when ICP mentioned it briefly on Howard Stern back in 2003
Um... They mention Kid Rock on "Posse On Vernor". "Junkie on the corner, needle about to shoot, with a rebel flag and some cowboy boots. The closer that we got, the clearer it became, it was Kid Rock he hollered "WHAT'S MY NAME?"
Warren borders Detroit. ICP never lived in SW Det., but frequented it. EM lived in the city. But, I do agree that ICP and EM should never have had the beef. Imagine someone w/ EM's lyrical talent over an ICP beat? Epic wouldn't begin to describe the music that never was...
They do that just to make sales. They can be friends in reality. It's like the stuff you read in magazines. A lot of it is not true but it makes for a great story even though it's fake.

I mean yes to the bigger than Icp thing(depending on where you look at it from) but kid rock just did a spot on their album never was actually part of the group it was j shaggy and shaggys brother
Recommended to me 12 years later, Shaggy still walks with the exact same swagger as back then.
I can't like this comment enough, Shaggt's swag and walk are unmatched WHOOP WHOOP

Violent J said in a interview that he cut em off because he had a panic attack. Then shaggy didn't wanna be the only one with em so he cut them off.
