you really gotta learn to understand that that struggle you're feeling is your body wanting you to spend that energy, we just want the fastest way to do that, and we build an addiction on that, the best thing you can do is find alternatives to keep you busy throughout the day, although there isn't any tip i can give you to make you stop, if you make a conscious effort and don't just give in then you'll make it a lot further, treat working out and working and other stuff you do in your day like a gift, also good to remember jerking off isn't the root of the problem it's the porn, it's so accessible and easy to use, you can get an app so that you can't enter porn sites though which i've seen one of my friends use when he had a bad addiction, but honestly best tip is to just keep yourself busy and remind yourself why you want this, and that it's important to becoming the person you're meant to be , i really hope that you can overcome your addiction if you're struggling and good luck @@ghodapani777

@@p.t4real176 @wallacewells3246 hallelujah! I used to think like man, there is no way I'd get rid of this, but it's not even about getting rid of it, but rededicating the body and energy back to it's Creator. I once heard a brother in Christ talk about the words "Our Father" in the Lord's prayer and how essentially its showing that the same blessings He was willing to bestow upon Jesus Christ or now any brother or sister that used to struggle with this, He will do the same for you. You are not exclude from His unlimited source of LOVE because He is OUR FATHER who art in Heaven. Even an Earthly father would want to equally give his children good gifts and attention, showing no favorites. How much more will our HEAVENLY FATHER give us even greater gifts and the attention we truly desire. I am thankful for both of you, my brothers and may OUR FATHER continue to show His amazing love in our lives.

Sexual arousal, and testosterone more broadly, is such a powerful force of motivation. It feels like a form of discomfort, but it is tremendously powerful and useful. The brain feels that agitation and discomfort, and immediately seeks the pleasure and comfort that comes with indulgence. Men, we are not built for comfort.

Almost all of it is mental. Meditation and mindfulness is a huge part of it. Shame can be a big reason that men keep going back though. Let go of the toxic shame of porn/mast and it will be much easier to let go of the addiction or habit. Some of the language Jorgen uses like: 'it's wrong', or 'disgusted by yourself' often has the opposite effect you think it does. It is often not helpful to think what you are doing is an awful, shameful, disgusting thing. It can have a host of negative consequences on your psyche. The truth is it's incredibly understandable and relatable that you are doing such things, especially the younger you were exposed to it. There is still hope of change though. Sara Brewer has a philosophy on this that can be extremely helpful on letting go of the shame aspect in order to become even more successful on your journey. Good luck!

I can tell you not "doing a number #3" on a regular basis is not only extremely unhealthy and counterproductive, but is also maddeningly uninformed. In my teens when my church minister said taking a #3 will send you to hell, it ended my faith for 30 years. Now I know the human body works as it works: if we drink liquids we must do #1, if we eat food, #2. If we have a healthy normal and living human body, after puberty, we should take a healthy #3 on a regular basis AND NEVER FEEL GUILT, BAD, OR SELF-RECRIMINATORY for it, ever.
When in doubt concerning the daily functions of the human body I say don't rely on spirit teachers; rely on doctors and other healthcare professionals. You wouldn't go to a library to exercise, you'd go to a gym. Why would you rely on medically untrained persons like gurus or preachers concerning matters of health and hygiene? Meditation is fine, but don't be fooled by thinking it will ever absolve you of breathing, eating, living, or any of our other natural obligations to ourselves.
    ...
I should hasten to add you are wrong about the history of sex imagery. A mere scrolling of objects of art and veneration right back to the very beginnings are replete with sex imagery. The feelings engendered were always recognized as natural, innocent, and healthy and invigorating. It is the anti-#3 thought that is toxic and perplexing.
Of course we can avoid violent, unpleasant imagery in our personal list of regular attractants i.e. 'returns'. Having said that, you can strengthen your mind so exposure to such imagery doesn't cause any unwanted reaction. I promote a slightly more nuanced approach to this topic. Having lived thru my teens and 20's as a person of conscience I struck a personal balance between the hardline approach to matters of personal health and the overwhelming conditions having a human body can produce.
Modesty, morals, and dignity are just as urgently required in such circumstances as the need to express and the satisfaction thereby derived.
    ...
Any time a thought causes a spike in our nervous system, it is a topic demanding attention in some way. We do our best as humans to accommodate our birthright instincts and habits in the evolved social space of laws, customs, and norms of courtesy we also inherit from our tribe/elders.

"But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." mathew 5:28
"So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”" John 8:31
You know many people think they are good people, but have we even put that to the test in the slightest? Take a look at the ten commandments, God's moral law, and tell me how many times you have broken each one of them. We are lying, thieving, blaspheming, murderous, fornicating, adulterers at heart, what makes you think god should let you or me into heaven? Like a good judge sentences a criminal who's killed 3 women to death God rightfully sentences us to hell. The bible says the wages of sin is death. We are getting what is due to us like how a killer gets what's due to him in prison.
The common argument is, "well why can't he just forgive me?" Try that in a court of law. Say a man committed a murder, he killed a young woman and he knew it was wrong and he's sorry. The judge says "I forgive you of this crime, the verdict is innocent, you are free to go!" Would that be a righteous and just judge? No, because justice wasn't served.
Now if you're an all holy and righteous God, you can't just let sin go unpunished. So what did God do for guilty sinners so that we wouldn't have to go to hell? He gave his only begotten son to die on a cross for us.
Many people know this but don't understand the reason. We broke God's moral law, the 10 commandments, Jesus paid the fine.
Say you're in court and you have a stack of speeding fines, the judge says "this is a very serious crime, but someone has paid the fine so you are free to go. " And just like that the judge can rightfully and justly let you go.
Heres the thing, God didn't have to do this. He could have rightfully and justly sent both you, me, and all of humanity into hell. He could have served justice, but he chose to serve mercy.
The bible is the greatest love story ever told!
God sent his only begotten son to take the punishment you should have had, because that's how badly he wants to spend an eternity with you. 2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." What that means is “On the cross, God looked at Christ and saw you. Now, He looks at you and sees Christ.” - John MacArthur, this is the doctrine of substitution.
I am going to leave you with this. There are two doorways to heaven, you can choose to walk through the one of mercy, or you can choose to walk through the one of justice.
The bible says "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." This verse talks about how just, but merciful God is. He pleads for us to take the path of mercy to avoid his just wrath.
I say this out of love and to put the fear of God in your heart, hell is a horrible place and I don't want you or anyone at all to end up there. I ask you to put your faith in Christ like you'd put your faith in a parachute. Death is not infront of you, it's beside you, so many people think they have time to change, repent, or think about this, but when death comes there is no do-over! Many people think God just wants dumb blind followers and that chritianity is against science when in reality its the complete opposite. Oxford, Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, all these great university's were founded by christians in the pursuit of science and knowledge of the world.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.'' Mathew 7:13. Jesus says come as you are, he will change you. I care deeply for you, yes you the person reading this, and I am praying for you, God bless you! Luke 15:7 "there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who REPENTS than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no REPENTANCE.”

That’s the thing most people don’t understand, that if you just quit porn and jacking off without treating the root cause , you’re bound to fail, it’ll always come back. What you’re essentially doing is putting a cork on your sexual energy through sheer will , and sooner or later the bottle will burst. Why you ask? Cause will power is finite , you can’t achieve to totally quit using sheer will. You have to dig down and figure out the root cause of your addiction. Fix your mind. Tell yourself repeatedly, porn is disgusting , porn is vile and I’m becoming a better person each day I’m not viewing it. Delete social media , change your algorithms. Pour your pent up sexual tension back into your own self ,self love is key. Keep telling yourself I am worthy , I am enough , I can capable of quitting. At first your mind will be like “heh we’ll see” but eventually the mind will believe what you are trying to tell it. It will actually believe that you can quit, and you will.

    @bayani7626 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Here is what works for me. Don't desexualize your brain, but embrace it. What you need to do is depornify your brain by meditating like what he says or if you're religious, surrender your lust to a higher being so that we can see a women's figure not as a sex object but a beautiful creation of God. We should see a woman's beauty as a beautiful art and reserve our sexual energy for the right woman who deserves it. When you meditate, you should imagine the sexiest, prettiest, and most perfect lady you can without clothes and tell yourself how beautiful this creation is, and if you're religious, thank God for blessing your eyes/mind with such beauty.
For single dudes out there looking for a relationship, don't be a fool of for a woman's beauty since it always fades! Always remember to see deeper than just a woman's beauty since the most attractive faces can have the ugliest/darkest character just like the women you were fantasizing on adult websites.

Thanks bro. Depression and doubt have been a daily struggle in my life. I literally lost sight of my visions, ambitions and goals becoming more focused on instant self gratification. Not realizing the mental and physical effects of porn. I literally wish my curiosity never got the best of me to start there in the first place. So a word of advise to the youngsters out there , just don't start. Don't believe the lies your friends exaggerate because your going to regret it one day.

Tip 1: everytime you get an urge it’s not an urge for watching porn or jacking off. It’s your mind wanting dopamine because it is stressing out. why? Because the porn use has killed a lot of your dopamine receptors and they are very desensitized, therefore little dopamine hits from simple things are just not enough for you to be content, so the only way your mind knows how to get a lot of dopamine for your desensitized receptors is through porn. This is the same with every addiction. But when you consciously don’t allow it your brain eventually rewires and understands that no more porn so it makes your receptors sensitive again so that little dopamine hits from simple things like eating food or talking with someone make you happy. It’s all a trick don’t fall for it the mind is your biggest enemy it wants what it’s designed to want. You have to stop it. Simply pick a day, a moment, and make a video saying this is the day and time that I quit forever and then simply forget about porn and jacking off forever. Just let it go forget it and don’t think about it again.

I say this to people all the time, meditate, just for 10 minutes, or even 5 minutes. The other No-Fap tricks of believing in something, doing push-ups is not going to help you, you need to be mindful first. Understand why you are doing it, and what you feel. After that you need to get out more, be with people. And definitely, you don't need to count days if you're really mindful and busy. The feelings will fade away automatically. Most of the time it's just us trying to get away from a problem, like me trying to run away from the stress of college which bring us back to porn, so we have to find another way to deal with the stress rather than watching porn.

addictive intent always starts with a thought, if you do nothing the easier those destructive thoughts will come up and you start to jackoff. Best thing is to occupy and put effort in something productive like work or take time of mastering a single useful skill. Once you get it you will eventually forget it and even loose the urge completely.

    best video about nofap.
fapping is usually an act of watering an inter fire, so fapping does not solve the problem. And stopping the firemen wont solve shit. So instead of focusing on the act itself, start focusing on what caused it, and much more important, why has it become compulsive.
porn and fapping compulsively are sexual disorders, what is causing this disorder? I bet is a nuclear issue (trauma) and everytime you tidy up and star nofap, some random event causes a big mess again, and this makes you need to water down the pain by the biggest pleasure ever.
    SEX!!
And thank god you water it down.... because you didnt manage this trauma, you need a painkiller. Well now you know, manage the trauma and solve the source of the pain.
soo, give you a break, start focusing on this cause, talk to yourself, observe the moments when you ask for this painkiller, when you need this sexual fantasy to escape something that just happened.. what was it???? (just start asking even if you dont get the answers yet, leave that door open)

It instantly became addictive, Anyways going strong for 60 days
