I wish I had Friends that played this Game with so I could learn... I've always loved tabletop games like this but I've never had the right Friends =\ Very nice setup you've got!
What a beautiful set up. This is the highest quality set I have seen. I think the grey is a realistic color for the American naval ships as long as the insignia is printed on them. I'd like to see what the artillery would look like on the transports. Perhaps I could fit by cutting of the stands off and then attaching them to the transport deck.
Boardgame publisher here. I miss the old A&A maps that used beige and browns (same with War of the Ring), so I love the map you've used here. The hyper-realistic "satellite" maps that A&A uses now are awful and completely lifeless. I believe beige is also closer to the maps used in actual WW2 war rooms, but I could be wrong there as I've not done any hard research.
I also appreciate the swastika as your flag marker for Germany. Although it is a party flag, it makes sense since it was the party that prosecuted the war and not only the Wehrmacht. Most importantly, it was a symbol that every Allied soldier knew (and resented), and it would be foolish to not show the war through their eyes. I can't stand the sensitivity around this issue and will certainly include it in my own historical games, even if that means lost sales in Germany.
Absolutely hands down the best set up out there. Can you provide links to the metal sculpts you are using? I have so many questions I want to ask... ha!
Beautiful work, excellent sculpture. I have mounted my units using pipe cleaning wires and a small drill bit, drilling both the units and the board allows a wall hanging and more flexibility, even traveling with the game set up. It's fallen off the wall a few times and no pieces moved, once a couple boats were scraped off but literally no problems. Just a thought before investing in potentially communist magnetics
It looks amazing obviously. i don't get the 45 degree angled board. It takes so much space and it could have been on the wall? And there is just empty space below?
Your setup is nice you have painted pieces all magnetized I wish I had a setup like yours how do you manage to play a game with it or do you play yourself
Good morning sir , Did you do this yourself? I wanted to tell you that this table is a dream! It's just beautiful and very smart! I am in real admiration, I hope one day to be able to do the same thing! Good day from France!
This man is living the dream
After buying some flight stands, I came across this video. It's amazing how far this rabbit hole goes. Very impressive setup.
But he doesn’t have any flight stands so he’s probably super jealous of you.
That setup has exceeded any normal person's imagination. Amazing.
What a great looking game, something you would pass down a few generations. Beautiful!
The painted pieces are amazing! I've always wanted to paint an Axis & Allies set like this.
Wow this epic. Never knew this was a thing. Looks very expensive
Respect, it's been 4 minutes and I have yet to breath.

A beauty!
Man I’m envious of your friends. Wish my friends enjoyed stuff like this instead of video games all the time. Like, wow man, this is so fucking cool.
Yeah, I love video games but sometimes a good strategy board game is better. My friends, though I love them, are content to play party card games.
Very impressive detail. Absolutely gorgeous.
Wow, the angled board is such an awesome idea. I haven't seen anyone else think of that
Interesting, this video has been up for a long time, but 1/5th of the comments were posted in the past week. Great video btw!

Absolutely hands down the best set up out there. Can you provide links to the metal sculpts you are using? I have so many questions I want to ask... ha!
If I recall correctly, I think I got them from historical boardgaming. They have a whole ton of them on their site.
I want to play some Global 42 on this set sometime.
Well done. Is your setup to make single player more efficient?
My group and I play via live chat with each player having their own board.
@@dannysboy12345 oh okay, now I get it. Cool
I wants to do that

Sir, this is all very fancy, but I'm sorry to say that your tanks will not be shooting straight.
And I thought I had a nice board set up ….I pouring a glass of wine and watching this video again
It's been a lot of fun to design and build. Kinda sad that the process is over actually.
@@dannysboy12345 checkout in my channel the playlist “secrets of the lions den”
When is the one with gold set going to be released?
I thought I knew what jealousy was before this video. I was clueless.
It looks amazing obviously. i don't get the 45 degree angled board. It takes so much space and it could have been on the wall? And there is just empty space below?
Storage for the units below.
where did you get the US landing craft?
Those were 3D printed.
there aint no better word for it, this just fucks. this fucks hard.
This is nice I can’t lil I wanna play ts
Unbelievable concept, wow! DO you use custom rules to accommodate different pieces and terrain?
No, no, my group and I just play global 1940 out of box rules.
you had me at hello
How did you get the nice figures?
Some I 3d printed, and others I bought online.
Most are just painted units that come standard with the game. Others are either 3d prints or purchased online.
@@dannysboy12345 Do you have the links to the models to print? Or just from thingyverse?
Your setup is nice you have painted pieces all magnetized I wish I had a setup like yours how do you manage to play a game with it or do you play yourself
I play via TH-cam with my group of five guys.
Where did you get the units?
GHQ, Historical Boardgaming, Wolves Den Designs, and the rest were 3d printed.
What kind of 3d printer do you have?
I have a Creality resin printer
It is all fun and games until the Russian player buys that turn 1 battleship!
Looks amazing.
