I am surprised that Swiss is still using the old 343's. Thought that most airliners were planning to phase them out. Usually they fly the Montreal -Zurich route with an A333. You shall try the A350. It is quite an experience I would say(in a positive way!)
Brilliant video! You got a really nice wing view on an A340-300, especially the second wing view. You're super lucky to fly on it since many airlines are retired it on their fleet nowadays. Despite the old plane, I'm surprised to see the Swiss A340 cabin, the seats and the IFE are modern, the legroom is quite big too. The cabin crew and the chief flight attendant were so lovely and delicate to give you many chocolates and coffee as souvenirs after realizing you were filming. I immediately subscribe your channel for more videos about the A340.

Since the video was published, Swiss have reconfigured with middle section of the cabin with 6 rows of Premium Economy Seating. There remain two rows of Economy Class seating. Row 27, immediately behind Premium Economy, now has the best legroom in all of Economy Class without being a true bulkhead row.
Good review of this excellent airline. What a nice touch to receive those little gifts! I want to fly them now they seem like a fantastic company and flight crew appear excellent too

Scrapping is up to the airlines, not the manufacturers. The Lufthansa group is known for keeping their A340s around for quite a while! (Eurowings, SWISS, Lufthansa)
YOU NEED TO KEEP CLEAN AND THAT SAFETY CARD HAS PROBABLY BEEN HANDLED THOUSAND OF TIMES AND NEVER CLEANED THEY ARE ALL THE SAME NO NEW NEWS ON THE SAFETY CARDS, I MEAN HOW TO BUCKLE YOURSELF? LOL

The plane can have In total 211 seats counted it with business and economy
there was only a handful of people on this flight. Ofcourse you got extra attention. in a fully booked flight you would never have gotten those gifts.
