For our Thanksgiving my husband and I were alone. Our oldest daughter and family moved that week from Minnesota to Washington. Our other daughter worked all day, our oldest 3 grandkids went to their other grandparents which left us home alone with our 3 dogs and a cat. I don't like turkey so I made a half ham with corn, buns and a pumpkin pie. We sliced off a bit of ham each and left the ham on the stove to kind of stay warm. I went to get some more ham and it was gone. I went and looked for our German Shepherd and there was what was left of the bone of the ham and all the meat was now gone. And that is our Thanksgiving 2021 story.
Oh no…. if dogs used the internet, your German Shepard would be on here telling an “I got half a ham for Thanksgiving” . That would have impressed my dogs for sure.
Judy Bullick ...your story made my night ...it is now the end of February 2022 and I am cracking up at your Thanksgiving 2021... nearly 3 months ago. Hollywood could not have scripted it better!
Hannah, please don't feel like you always have to get dolled up. Just ignore those comments from people that put so much emphasis on the superficial. I love that you feel comfortable just going casual sometimes. I feel like you are more relatable to a lot of us who just want to be comfortable some days and just let the real us shine through and that is beautiful!
Funny! We were traveling during Thanksgiving and found an open restaurant for dinner. They were only serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal. At the end, we asked for the bill and were told there would be no bill. Confused, we asked why and were told that the restaurant was only open to the homeless and people in need! We were very embarrassed and needless to say left a large donation. Your story reminded me of this!
I had a Thanksgiving like that. We were in NC for a trip and thought friends of ours would invite us for dinner. They didn't. We made no reservations like you and ended up eating a whole box of instant oatmeal 4 packs each. So sad at the time but a funny story now.
My dad passed away on October 28th, so on Thanksgiving we went thru his belongings and divvied up his ashes. It was emotional, but finding some little momentos I hadn't seen since my childhood was really sweet.
You two fit together so well~ the way you talk together, the looks you give each other. Just a beautiful couple.... Don't ever change, you both are soooo funny. How anyone can say you aren't looking beautiful is beyond me. Your hearts alone shine out. God bless you both. 🌿🌷💛
I'm sure, at the time, it was a miserable experience. However, that will be a Thanksgiving story that you can tell for the rest of your lives. And at least you had each other to go through it with, and that's something you two can laugh about for years! Also, I have a feeling Shane can make anything funny.
I m from Tennessee/when you said the winding hills im like yep/lol, I used to have nightmares about being back there/but they always turned back into sweet dreams of walking in the birch trees and back in Alaska,! At least you have each other /all I have is my cat/ my real live kitchen chicken/and three spotted fluffy goats in the barn as my family! I gave my garden keeper vole/catcher cat- peeled shrimp and thanked her for her purrs and keeping critters out of my garden/the chicken got grapes and I thanked her for her eggs/the spotted fluffy goats got 5 pieces of dried apples(I had dried from my trees)and I thanked them for their delicious milk/I had mushroom soup that I made/it was awesome good!LOL/and your both always beautiful!
I dated someone from Tennessee and we went to visit his family one time so I had the same reaction when they were talking about the roads lol. It was a bit of a shock coming from a place that's below sea level too. Really beautiful part of the country though
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It's 01.57hrs and I have been laughing so much that my sides hurt and I have tears running down my cheeks. Plus, I'm now wide awake, but happy 😊 🙏❤️🇬🇧
I am a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities and I worked 14 hours on Thanksgiving. I away from my family too. I did, however cook a complete Thanksgiving meal for my clients and enjoyed celebrating with them. Thank you for sharing your lives with us!!!❤
As someone who has met many awful, rude, heartless, borderline psychotic caregivers, I want to thank you for showing actual love for your clients. It gives me and so many others hope when we see people like you out here going above and beyond. I can tell you right now, that meal meant more to your clients and their loved ones than you could ever know 🖤 Thank you for being you 🖤 I'm sending you so much love 🖤
We moved my sister and mom on Thanksgiving day and had chicken noodle soup with breadsticks amongst all the boxes. At least we were all together. After hearing your story I think you guys had a twilight zone experience. I liked your song and Hannah you are always beautiful.
Listening to your story put joy in my heart. Not because of all the mishaps you encountered but because you both have a good sense of humor. Somehow what you both say to each other echos the love you both have for each other. Thank you for sharing your newlyweds stories with us. It shows us your humility when you choose to laugh with each other. We should all keep ourselves humble by laughing at our mistakes and giving the benefit of the doubt when others make them. There is too many touchy people out there. Let us laugh with them and not at them.
I was in bed sicker than a do with a flu bug on Thanksgiving. I took the chance to say how thankful I was that everyday is NOT like that day ☺️ Soery you had a miserable trip and worse meal..but glad you have your memory and a good story to tell for years to come
it's easy to be an asshole on the internet...just need some thick skin to let the hate roll off with ease. There is a saying that I use, frequently...Opinions are like Assholes, everyone has one.
I think Hannah still looks every bit as beautiful as she ever has, even today when they haven't showered and dressed up for the camera. What are people even talking about??
Hannah you are a natural beauty. Makeup is just an accessory. Makeup makes you look like a model which was perfect for your wedding but your spirit and heart are the most beautiful things about you. The way you fell in love with Shane’s spirit and heart (who he is instead of just seeing his disability first) is the most beautiful attribute you have. Your heart and soul gives you strength and love for difficult times but your ability to laugh about so many things is why we love you! You and Shane fit together so perfectly.
A great adage is, "If you're going to laugh about it in 10 years, you might as well laugh about it now". I had a great laugh as you told your Thanksgiving story. What a classic. If we never had these awful experiences we wouldn't have all our great stories to tell.
Industry worker here- I’m sorry for your terrible experience but I appreciate more than you could ever understand that you’re able to laugh about it now and that you didn’t throw the server or the restaurant under the bus. If every diner chose to react this way it would improve the restaurant industry significantly by relieving stress in the work place. You guys are incredible people!
Here is my story. We always went to my Grandparents , it was tradition . A big family gathering. My husband and I had our two little ones and one on the way. packed up the car and we were all happy. It would be a 3 hour drive . I went to put a pie in the car and slipped on ice and a frozen piece of gravel inbedded in the heel of my hand , I still have the scar. But I cleaned and bandaged it and assured my hubby the baby was fine because I landed more on my hands and knees. So now we are all in the car. And get just pulled out when the car stops running (ended up being alternater) then back in the house we went..kids crying me and my.pie all if it. We had milk eggs and bread and rice crispies. My husband took on foot to see if anything was open . After 40 minutes he comes back with a banquet Salisbury steak dinner and a bag of tater tots. He found at the gas station. We had a really nice meal actually with my pecan pie for desert. I miss that now. Kids are grown and after 37 years of marriage my sweet hubby went to be with Lord. It was the times like that we cherished more I think.
What a story! Thank you for sharing❤ sometimes the holidays can be catastrophic and comical 😂 I miss the big Thanksgiving get-togethers so much too, since my family is now gone and I'm alone. I might have to start my own new traditions.
As you delved further into your tragic saga, I couldn't help but envision the Christmas Story. The Bumpes' hounds eating the turkey sending them to the only open restaurant. I'm sorry it was soooo bad, but you guys have awesome perspective. Glad you got home safely!
Tears were running down my face as I listened to your Thanksgiving episode. It reminded me of a like episode that my husband and I experienced at Christmas one year. We stayed at a BnB in New England but they didn’t serve a Christmas dinner so we started driving to search for something to eat. We traveled miles, even stopping at a former prison (can’t remember what it was being used for presently) to ask if they knew of a place to eat -they didn’t. We couldn’t even find a gas station to get a candy bar. After many miles, and hours, we found a Holiday Inn and joined bus loads of tourists for dinner. If I recall correctly, the food was much like what you experienced. It was the worst Christmas I ever experienced but one I shall not forget. You two are such a joy. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
I kept thinking of that movie "A Christmas Story" where they end up at Chinese restaurant and had duck instead of turkey for Christmas dinner. You had shell on shrimp for Thanksgiving and much like the movie, will have a good story to reminisce on for years to come.
When I was in college, I routinely didn’t go home for Thanksgiving and worked instead on my finals projects and exam studies. To this day, I think it was my most productive, relaxing time. No stressful family dinner….
I LOVE your stories! And u tell them with such dry humor! I giggling out loud when Shane said “twenttty seven” lol and he got his own age wrong! Omg you guys keep ‘em coming, and Hannah your beautiful as you’ve always been nothing has changed!
You are both beautiful, even without make up, showers, and shaving. Your beauty comes from your personalities, your humor, and mostly from your love for each other.
We ended up one Thanksgiving years ago eating at a 7-11 market for our Thanksgiving "dinner". Old hot dogs and I don't remember what else. Long story but sooo memorable! LOL.
I spent Thanksgiving in the ER with my son- kidney stones. Between the ER and the vaccinated vs unvaccinated guest list, Thanksgiving was a nightmare! It is nice to watch you guys and imagine the craziness you both experienced. Makes me laugh and not feel so alone. Thanks you guys! Let's hope Christmas is better for all of us!
Wow! Really! You guys are real and human. You can be a dirty and scuzzy as you want and you are great. Inside counts but I guess some missed that lesson. You guys are friends and friends at that worst are better than enemies at the best. Love you guys. Keep it real.
You usually forget the times when you had fun with family and friends as usual but this is a time that you will never forget and will laugh at for years to come. At least nothing really bad happened and you are both safe and sound.
I related so much to this story!!! In 2004 my b/f & I drove from NJ to Florida to transport 2 rescue dogs. We had just enough money for gas, tolls, and 2 meals, no money for rooms to sleep. We left Wednesday afternoon, got to FL on Thanksgiving day. Dropped off the dogs, slept for 2 hrs in the van in a parking lot, turned around to drive back to NJ.....while looking for a restaurant for dinner,, the only place open for Thanksgiving dinner was a Howard Johnsons. The meal was shredded turkey in gravy, poured over hard lumps of mashed potatoes, hard over-baked rolls, slimey-looking green beans, tiny slices of pumpkin pie and sodas. They weren't cooking anything else, that was it. We choked down what we could, and drove straight back to NJ. No sleep except for those 2 hrs!!! That has become a favorite Thanksgiving story to tell & laugh about for years! 🤣🤣🤣
I was laughing so much 😂 my partner asked why I was in tears. I couldn't answer him due to I couldn't breathe from laughing. So iv made him watch this. Now I have watched this twice in a row. I haven't laughed like this in a very long time... thank you. Love your videos. I look forward to your uploads every time. So thank you again. Have a lovely holiday season.
I think the person that said Hannah wasn't looking beautiful lately either needs a mirror presented to them to look at their self or it's Paris Hilton commenting. You two are beautiful inside and out and add joy to my day. THANK YOU.
Now that you’re safely back home…It’s OK to laugh at your hilarious restaurant story from Tennessee. I’ve always been so envious of all the amazing meals you have had at all the amazing restaurants you have been to… until now! 🤣 i’ll be sure to cross the roadhouse off from any visit to to Tennessee. Will always be such a funny memory for you! Happy belated Thanksgiving!
We all have that one family member that critics for the fun of the horrific cycle that humans pass on to one another. It’s worse when it’s your mother. You need great skills to ignore those sad voices and you Hannah are skillful
You guys are amazing! My Thanksgiving started with a 30 minute drive through snow to a convenient care for a chest xray for a bizzaro "coughing up blood" moment in the morning. Thankfully the chest xray was clear and once I waited in the drive thru line for 45 mins for stronger antibiotics I could drive 30 minutes back home before picking up my family so we could drive another 1.5 hours to my inlaws. We were only 3 hours late for turkey and mashed potatoes.
My favorite part of all of this is the clip of Shane laughing at Hannah as she is peeling off all the breading from each shrimp and finding that they are all still in the shells 😂😂
My Thanksgiving was also terrible. I worked a graveyard shift( 11pm-7am) Wednesday night/Thursday morning, went home cooked, drove an hour to my Grandpa's house, spent 1 hour with my family, drove back home, changed my clothes and went back to work 3pm-11pm. So I worked a total of 15 hours on the busiest day of the year. I was furious!
Hannah, you still look as beautiful as ever. Even today when you say you're unshowered. Part of the reason I would _hate_ being famous is I don't look nearly as good without makeup but I can go out to the grocery store or what have you and not one person pays me any mind at all. That's wonderful. 😂 P.S. Shane was _hilarious_ when he did the "eyebrow thing" when you were talking about the waitress and his Blue Moon drink. Made me laugh.
Only you two could recount such an experience and make it so hilarious. Haven't laughed so much in a very long time. :) Hope Shane is still on schedule to get his new chair tomorrow (12-6)!
I had my own thanksgiving yuk. A friend took my turkey and Dixon’s and promised to return on thanksgiving with it done. And. . . He did not show up! So I had my frozen meals on wheels turkey dinner. Yuk. All alone.
I had a comparable Christmas experience one year. It was my first Christmas as a newlywed and the first Christmas that I was not spending with my family but the first time I was spending with my new family. Lots of tears and hysterical laughter was shared that year! 🤣
If Hannah isn’t beautiful then lord don’t look at me ….ever lol 😂 people are so rude lol girl you’re perfect, as is Shane. Merry early Christmas!!! Looking forward to all the vlogs!
Dr. Jordan Peterson was in a video with Theo Von talking about how beauty frightens people bc it highlights what they lack (or believe that they lack) within themselves. So it definitely tracks that Hannah's beauty is bringing out the worst in these people- they haven't dealt with their own issues.
@SpookyTunes Wow! He might be gay (although I'm not sure what that has to do w/anything) 🙄. But there's no doubt you're a miserable, unhappy person. 😢 Think I'd rather be gay than a nasty, judgmental troll. Please grow up and get a life. smh 🤦🏼♀️
This was the first year that we had Thanksgiving not at home too. I had tried to find a place with the typical meal in the city we would be in and had no luck. I found a Cafe the day before that claimed a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving only. It actually turned out real well. I had stumbled on the one place that seemed to be the spot that older people with no other plans go for the holiday. The food was real good and everyone was nice. I did still miss the real good green bean casserole I usually make. I am sorry it went so poorly. Thanks for sharing the story with all of us.
I spent weeks getting everything ready and babyproofing the house for the kids and grandkids to come over. They were supposed to come at 3 and leave at 8. One showed up at 5:30 w/ the two grandkids, the other came at 6. We ate quickly. His GF came at 6:30 and they all left at 7. All that work. All that food. An hour and a half. WTF? lol I may just order pizza for Christmas. lol
Your allowing this to happen. When people are so inconsiderate regarding other peoples time, they shouldn't come. I'll be damn if I put all the money, time and work in to create a nice meal and holiday, and everyone shows up whenever. I expect you to be on time, so we can all be together and enjoy. I am not reheating and redoing anything because someone is ignorant and can't show up when expected.
One and done is hard to do. The next meal needs to be canned chili or something the same with the cans on the top of the trash. Show them you do the effort for those who show their effort by showing up on time.
I know it seems inconsiderate and sometimes it is. But try to remember how it was with young children. Also, the gf may have had to go to two Thanksgivings and that is so hard. Anyway, my MIL has mastered holiday meals. She puts out appetizers for everyone which keeps people satisfied, as some have to skip meals trying to get there, lol. Then she keeps the meal as simple as possible. Once everyone gathers, it's all hands on deck as we finish the meal prep. (We pitch in afterwards, too, and clean the kitchen for her.) Then we sit and gab for hours. After losing a couple of loved ones I've helped her out by hosting the meal a couple of times. If I get stressed I just try to remember that no one will remember if I burn the beans--in fact, these things DO become fun memories! Just enjoy your loved ones while they (and you) are still here TOGETHER.
I love your story! I belly laughed all the way though it!! One of the things I really like about the two of you is how you always try to turn a negative into a positive, you try to learn from all your experiences and you always try to turn that frown upside down. I’m so happy that I found your channel 💕💖💕
Omg. Just wow. Wow to all of that! Way to keep it together and stick together through that. Next Thanksgiving will be all the sweeter because of your twilight zone experience this year!
You've gotta cherish those outlandish experiences just as much as the traditionally happy ones. They make for some of the most belly-busting laughs down the road! Everyday is Thanksgiving if you make it so my loves. I know that I am Thankful for both of YOU!
Since you are doing Vlogmas, I am totally enjoying all your videos you are doing, you normally do 1-2 a week and I can't wait, and look forward to seeing them. Now that you are doing Vlogmas I am so super excited to see you guys every day, it makes my day so much brighter and I am looking forward to seeing you both. Thank you so much for all the hard work you both do. Love you guys so much ❤️
Hannah you had every right to complain about your meal. Honestly that’s outrageous. You don’t need to apologize to the waitress for bringing it to her attention and feel like they were doing you a favour by taking it off the bill, of course you shouldnt pay you couldn’t eat your meal! I hate sending food back too as it does feel awkward. But complaining doesn’t have to mean you are being rude ☺️ I just wanted to comment as your retelling sounded like you were apologizing a lot and i used to do that too but I started to get a bit more confident in those situations without being a jerk about it
Put this down to an experience at alot of people do for thanks giving I remember 1 Christmas I didn't even have enough money for food . So with 5 children and no family we had a hot pie each. Sometimes when you live a life where you get most things at the touch of your finger tips, its nice to be brought down a little bit to remember how very lucky you really are
Hanna, you can never look bad. Your do pretty Look great in everything you wear. You are blessed Wow!!! On your thanksgiving dinner experience at that resturant. That is crazy. It does make for great memories My husband and I have been just about done eating when one of us would have a really long dark straight hair in our food and get just so grossed out. When had good under cooked or they forget food you ordered. Glad your able to laugh now. I’m like you two , not laughing at the time but weeks later I’m laughing at how miserable the dining experience might have been. You two are always awesome and love you both🥰
Love the picture you shared of your experience at "RoadHouse Double Star" in this pic Hannah certainly has the beautiful serious model look going on.. A sure sign of quality is when putting cutlery on the table the waitress can not count to two.. I'm glad you and us can all laugh about it.
Great story from a bad experience lol. I live alone but I’m lucky to have a wonderful sister who makes a great thanksgiving dinner that is just like the thanksgiving dinners my mom and dad made, so delicious. I’m really enjoying the vlogmas you guys are so much fun thanks and Happy Holidays 🎄
This is really life changing. I think it's cool the Shane can be up higher. Changes how you get things. How you go from room to room and such more. Fantastic!
My family still laughs about a restaurant meal our parents had during a road trip nearly 55 years ago. The cook quit in the middle of preparing their meals, and when they finally got something, which wasn’t quite what they had ordered, the waitress said “whatever you don’t like, just scrape it off”
We decided this year we were going to go get Chinese food. No cooking and no dishes. My daughter checked that the place we wanted to go was gonna be open. Confirmed it again on Thanksgiving by seeing they were open on their Facebook page until 8. Decide we'd go around 5. Drove there 25 minutes away and it was closed. My husband is set on Chinese so we drive another 15 minutes further and this Chinese restaurant was open. It was terrible. So I totally feel you. Then my family decided they missed the turkey and asked me to make one the following Tuesday so I ended up doing it anyway just 4 days later.
So sorry your experience was not good, but look at you laughing about it already! Those are the experiences that bring you closer together as a married couple and will keep you laughing for years to come. God bless both of you for always bringing me a smile and laughter.
Oh my heart!! If you ever come west, Brigham City, Utah to be more specific, I’ll feed you my hubby’s brisket and better rice and de-shelled shrimp with dessert for free!! I seriously love watching you guys!
That's a story to remember. When I was a kid, I had a couple surgeries in New York. One year my late mom and I left the hospital and hotel Thanksgiving day, got on the train to head back and had thanksgiving dinner in the dining car.
No way! What a small world…my husband and I were also traveling through the Nashville area on Thanksgiving day! But we packed frozen microwaveable dinners to heat up at our hotel because we expected everywhere to be closed. I was still pretty darn hungry after eating my TV dinner though. Thank God for a yummy breakfast the next morning!
My Thanksgiving was different too. My son Had covid so we couldn't be with family. I cooked a meal. He ate in his room. I left his plate outside his door. And I ate in my vehicle. I am great full for everything. And he's all well now. God bless y'all.
My husband and I stayed home for Thanksgiving because we had Covid, even though we were vaccinated. I lost all my taste and smell and my husband had lost his appetite. My sister lives next door and sent over some of their turkey and fixings. We ate some of it but could not taste anything. We too were receiving picture texts from other family members that we would have been with. We are just thankful that we did not give any else this dreadful virus. We love you both and your fun videos.
That’s such a cool Thanksgiving memory. Those unexpected adventures are what makes life fun. Always be ready to embrace those moments. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your life ! 👍😊❤️
Thank you for the good laugh - I needed that. There will always be rude people - can't believe how rude that was. I have played back you singing several times and even thought it would be nice if you both did a Christmas Album for us all. You both really have sweet voices. My Thanksgiving was very nice, with my daughter and her husband (they just got married this summer) and my husband and our dog Zoey. We always let Zoey have a Thanksgiving dinner. I am sorry your Thanksgiving was so messed up - like you said, it makes for a good story/memory. Thanks again for doing all you do!
OMG! I have been in fog so thick in Tennessee I couldn't see but about 4 feet. I could barely follow the line in to road and couldn't pull over to the shoulder because there's not always one and the fog was too thick to see if one was there or if I would drive off a mountain. I was terrified. all I could do was drive and hope no one hit me and I hit no one..lol
You two are way nicer than I might be with all the horrible comments people find the need to leave you. 🙄 I love your channel, the way you interact brings me back…beautiful couple, inside and out. ❤️
Sounded like You had a horrible Thanksgiving dinner... I recently reconnect with my Nephew that has been estranged for that past 6 years since my Sister's passing 5 years ago... I enjoyed a FANTASTIC dinner with Him & His girlfriends family & looking forward to getting together for Christmas also... Hugs & Blessings to You BOTH & YOUR FAMILIES for PEACE, GOOD HEALTH & HAPPINESS throughout the Holiday Season. GBY BOTH ALWAYS 🙏❤💙🐕🤗✝️
That story was hilarious in the way you told it. I'm sure it wasn't for you in living it though. I'm always alone for Thanksgiving, but I bought a small turkey breast and cranberry sauce for sandwiches. My sister and her husband came for dinner on Sunday, but not a traditional Thanksgiving meal since they don't like turkey.
We always used to travel to my hometown for Thanksgiving. A couple of years ago, our family had an early meal, since we were in a motel, we didn’t take any left-overs back to the room. On the way to our room, my husband said he was kind of hungry. NOTHING was open, but one resturant, and it had about 20 people standing in line out the door! (This is a city of 50,000 people). He ended up getting something in the little ‘store’ in the motel. You can laugh about your 2021 Thanksgiving and are sure to have a better one next year!
I am in the process of moving...and I have been SO stressed out. My hubby is going to Arkansas and im staying behind to have my MCL repaired. Long distance relationship here we come. And one of our cats died on Monday, she was 14. So...I SO needed this laugh lol Thank you SO Much
Wow you guys had a very eventful thanksgiving. I, on the other hand worked a 10-hr shift (retail) & then went home & ate cold cereal & went to bed. Unfortunately I live 5 states away from my family so it wasn't a fun day for me. I just worked & went to bed. Thanks for sharing ✌️🤍
I love you all sharing your Thanksgiving with us, and giving us laugh too. Just makes my day better knowing I am not the only one that has one of those days.
You weren’t alone. You had each other.
Oh no…. if dogs used the internet, your German Shepard would be on here telling an “I got half a ham for Thanksgiving” . That would have impressed my dogs for sure.
Judy Bullick ...your story made my night ...it is now the end of February 2022 and I am cracking up at your Thanksgiving 2021... nearly 3 months ago. Hollywood could not have scripted it better!

Wow - what a super kind heart you have! How much they must have enjoyed your delicious food! Sounds like a beautiful way to spend Thanksgiving!!

@@Kitten_Inchaos Thank you so much for your kind words. Some days can be rough, but I love my ladies. They make my job worth going to every day.
@@natnielsen8472 Thank you so much. It really was a nice day. It makes me feel good to give my ladies special holidays.
Hannah you are beautiful do not listening to the haters. You are beautiful everyday. We love the Christmas song.
Looks and being beautiful don't matter.
Hannah is naturally so gorgeous! Whoever said she hasn’t been looking beautiful lately is insane!
Totally this. I’m gobsmacked that somebody said that. What an absolute cretin.
She is beautiful, just looks sooo different
Probably one of the same jealous incels who thinks their relationship is fake.
@SpookyTunes I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. What factors ?
Eh ?!?
Shane being so indignantly offended by her audacity to ask his age and not even getting his age right because of his rage, I'm dying 😂
We moved my sister and mom on Thanksgiving day and had chicken noodle soup with breadsticks amongst all the boxes. At least we were all together. After hearing your story I think you guys had a twilight zone experience. I liked your song and Hannah you are always beautiful.
Hannah, that person is crazy. You always look beautiful. With or without makeup.
That is a "remember the Thanksgiving when" story as laughter begins! Thanks for sharing BEAUTIFUL COUPLE.
I laughed through this whole thing. It is one you will definitely not forget.
I took the chance to say how thankful I was that everyday is NOT like that day ☺️ Soery you had a miserable trip and worse meal..but glad you have your memory and a good story to tell for years to come
It’s not the food but who you’re with that’s what we give thanks for. I didn’t have to tell you two this, I can see you already know. Great story.
You are a gorgeous couple showered or unshowered. I can't believe how rude people can be. Xx
Believe it
it's easy to be an asshole on the internet...just need some thick skin to let the hate roll off with ease. There is a saying that I use, frequently...Opinions are like Assholes, everyone has one.
I think Hannah still looks every bit as beautiful as she ever has, even today when they haven't showered and dressed up for the camera. What are people even talking about??
I’m learning people are who they are…and rude is the least of their bad traits!
@@fiftyandfnifty1752 Would you like me to assist you in finding some place to get some help?
I love your stories! Everyone needs a good "you gotta hear this" story!
I'm so sorry for your loss Birdie.🙏🏽 U were lucky to have had him as long as u did.💞 Thank u for sharing that. 🌺 ✌🏼
@@singlewcheese6401 Amen😊❤️🙏Thank you
What a story! Thank you for sharing❤ sometimes the holidays can be catastrophic and comical 😂
I miss the big Thanksgiving get-togethers so much too, since my family is now gone and I'm alone. I might have to start my own new traditions.
@@Killmaisy yes you should 🥰
As you delved further into your tragic saga, I couldn't help but envision the Christmas Story.
I had a Marie Callender's turkey pot pie cooked in the microwave for Thanksgiving and it was delicious
I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
When I was in college, I routinely didn’t go home for Thanksgiving and worked instead on my finals projects and exam studies. To this day, I think it was my most productive, relaxing time. No stressful family dinner….
I had a ham sandwich!
That's sad
@@arichalevas2298 Not at all.
I like that saying. True
You usually forget the times when you had fun with family and friends as usual but this is a time that you will never forget and will laugh at for years to come. At least nothing really bad happened and you are both safe and sound.
You 2 have me dying of laughter!! That shells on shrimp story!! LOL 😆🤣
Totally agree, whilst some of Shane and Hannah's stories may not be the most fun, I honestly just love their double act delivery of it all!
I usually don’t laugh at TH-cam videos but this was absolutely hysterical
I've made the no reservation on Thanksgiving while traveling mistake myself. A valuable life lesson Ill never forget.
I laughed so hard that I cried through most of it. Hannah cracking up as the story was being told made it even funnier. Huz to both
My favorite part of all of this is the clip of Shane laughing at Hannah as she is peeling off all the breading from each shrimp and finding that they are all still in the shells 😂😂
It's hard to laugh at horrid food when you're actually hungry. Good on you for keeping a positive attitude!
People always suprise me with rudeness, I'm glad that y'all have a sense of humor and can let it roll of your backs!! 💖
I had my own thanksgiving yuk. A friend took my turkey and Dixon’s and promised to return on thanksgiving with it done. And. . . He did not show up! So I had my frozen meals on wheels turkey dinner. Yuk. All alone.
Fixins! Not dixons
@@maryobrien6834 wow! Thats incredibly rude!😪

@@harrypotter7291 Why do you think she is racist?
I had a comparable Christmas experience one year. It was my first Christmas as a newlywed and the first Christmas that I was not spending with my family but the first time I was spending with my new family. Lots of tears and hysterical laughter was shared that year! 🤣
If Hannah isn’t beautiful then lord don’t look at me ….ever lol 😂 people are so rude lol girl you’re perfect, as is Shane. Merry early Christmas!!! Looking forward to all the vlogs!
She s stunning. And it is a rare thing for someone to be as equally beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.
Dr. Jordan Peterson was in a video with Theo Von talking about how beauty frightens people bc it highlights what they lack (or believe that they lack) within themselves. So it definitely tracks that Hannah's beauty is bringing out the worst in these people- they haven't dealt with their own issues.
Isn’t she stunning? I really can’t get over how pretty she is. And Shane is so handsome they’re perfect together
WTF? lol I may just order pizza for Christmas. lol
Wow!
@@r.peebles3290 We were the only event that day for any of them. Christmas did go a little better as I just did snacks and chili
I was on the edge of my seat throughout that whole story 😂 you poor things ♥️ I hope you left a review for that restaurant 😅
Love you guys so much ❤️
I would not care about what people say. I'm sure they don't EVER look their best everyday. As long as your healthy and happy, who cares??
Wow the layers, you just kept peeling away. You are both really seasoned storytellers. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing 💟😁
But complaining doesn’t have to mean you are being rude ☺️ I just wanted to comment as your retelling sounded like you were apologizing a lot and i used to do that too but I started to get a bit more confident in those situations without being a jerk about it
My husband and I have a similar story from our second year's Thanksgiving. 30 year's later we still laugh about it.
Oh good Lord....I can't stop laughing!!! You guys have the best stories!!! Don't stop telling us about all your experiences. The best!!
Put this down to an experience at alot of people do for thanks giving
I remember 1 Christmas I didn't even have enough money for food .
So with 5 children and no family we had a hot pie each.
Sometimes when you live a life where you get most things at the touch of your finger tips, its nice to be brought down a little bit to remember how very lucky you really are
Hanna, you can never look bad. Your do pretty Look great in everything you wear. You are blessed
Wow!!! You two are always awesome and love you both🥰
Agree
This thanksgiving is part of your family lore, we all need these chapters in our family stories.
You always make my day. Laughing at what life hands you sometimes makes it not so bad.
I was rolling with laughter at Shanes beer story. You two are the cutest couple.
Ha ha smart
Hope you both recover fully and that the rest of the holidays rock.
You two are so adorable and refreshing in such a crazy messed up world right now! Keep being REAL and AWESOME!!
While not the best Thanksgiving by any means, you're making memories and that's what counts. Great story telling!

We didn’t do Thanksgiving dinner either! Groceries too expensive! 🥴😊🙏❤️
Shane, you were probably glad you ordered 27 ounces of Blue Moon by the end of the dinner!
« White knuckle passengering » describes every parent of a teen driver 😂 😂 😂

I am in the process of moving...and I have been SO stressed out. My hubby is going to Arkansas and im staying behind to have my MCL repaired. Long distance relationship here we come. And one of our cats died on Monday, she was 14. So...I SO needed this laugh lol Thank you SO Much
It'll be a great story to tell your grandchildren. At first I thought she was asking Shane's age as well. 🤷♀️
