A walk we must have done literally hundreds of times and I always enjoy it but I must stop filming it, I have done it to death. Thought you would have added in the story of the Richmond Drummer Boy....another one I have done to death but it still fascinates me. When I filmed the abbey last year I flew my drone over the abbey and got a right snotty bloke 'trying' to tell me off, as my drone had flown over his garden lol. We always park at the station and do the walk the other way around but always end up in the station café and I must give that pizza a go next time we are there. Not been inside the castle for years, must be 10 years since I took my two grandkids in - the 5 year old boy wanted to climb to the top with me and when we got down, the 3 year old girl said she now wanted to go to the top too but also wanted me to carry her up 😳, cheers Alan

I was around those locations with my dog Bella a couple of years ago it’s a lovely area and worked in Richmond building some apartments over the road from the cricket pitch keep making your lovely videos Carrie 😊🥾
Hi Carrie I enjoyed coming with you on your walk around Richmond it's a lovely area, I've done a few walks around there myself in the past, the last time was when mum came with me and we had a walk to Easby Abbey and back from Richmond, that station where you had your lunch looked nice, I also enjoyed the tours around Easby Abbey and Richmond Castle were good too , I love walking round Ancient Buildings and Churches too , shame about the weather though. atb Carrie cheers Glenn, it's a big 👍 from me
That's a lovely video, Carrie. Some of it was familiar, and I've eaten at the Station in the past. It's good that they've made use of it like that. Hope you've dried out. ☔
That's a lovely video Carrie, a super interesting castle and watching the video was very relaxing, thanks for sharing it, we've subscribed to your channel :) look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future !
Thanks for sharing 🙂 We love Richmond and Barnard Castle, been meaning to make some videos in the area for a while as my wife grew up nearby in Darlington. Soon hopefully 😊 Hadn't heard of Easby Abbey so that's great info to have. Thanks!

Hi Alan, I think you tell the story of the drummer boy better than me :D Thanks for watching :)

Hi Glenn, glad you enjoyed it, it's nice to walk around ancient buildings, we are lucky in the UK to have so much history :D
That's a lovely video, Carrie. Some of it was familiar, and I've eaten at the Station in the past. It's good that they've made use of it like that. Hope you've dried out. ☔
Hi Dave, yes the Station is a great little place, food is a bit expensive so I don't eat there often but it's nice to pop in occasionally :D
Lovely
Thanks Andy :D

Easby is a lovely ruin, worth a visit and definitely don't forget the medieval church next door! :D
Nice one Carrie. I love castles and old churches. Even if you’re not religious, churches are a place of peace and quiet in a frantic world.
Hi Pete, I agree, I'm not a Christian but I still love visiting old churches- particularly mediaeval ones like St Agatha's.
Hey Carrie, another beautiful video! Shame about the weather, definitely made the right choice not to head up into the hills and bogs 😂
Yeah, the weather isn't getting any better at the moment! :(
