The last Rolls- Royce to really look like a Rolls- Royce . The Silver Seraph will soon be a true classic,. Also a very very rare car ,only around 1600 hundred were ever produced. Mine is a 1999 model vehicle.
What i love most about Rodd is that he knows those subtle differences between the model years that most people would never notice. Like the difference in the sail panel mirrors between 1999 and 2000. And don't get me started on the Tempest exterior color. I almost looks like it has that hint of lavender or mauve as Rodd mentioned. Just a beautiful car.
Gorgeous automobile, the colour combination with the exterior and interior blends flawlessly. This is my favorite year, make, colour combination and trim of Rolls-Royce Motoring. Sheer "Timeless Elegance" just as it is. The wheels and "thin" white wall tires work well, allowing attention to be focused on the sculptured integrity of this fine automobile. Still built at Crewe but under BMW ownership and using the BMW V-12 before the change to the current line which I've always thought of as a German interpretation of what English luxury would be. Or was the last "true" Rolls Royce the Silver Spirit/Spur/Dawn line?
The modern ones are hideous, and people that I know who have them say that they are really expensive to maintain because everything is a unit, so it means a new unit rather than a piece. My 1965 Silver Cloud III is easier to maintain, any good mechanics can fix it and parts are available.
If you buy any Crewe Rolls-Royce that’s up to date on all its maintenance and services, then ongoing maintenance is very reasonable. Obviously, being a hand built car, it will require more than a new Hyundai but in the overall scheme of things, ownership is indeed reasonable for a sound car.
I once dated a rich woman in Bloomfield Hills,Michigan she had a Seraph identical I had driven it a few times fell in love with it,20 years later I'm still in love with it not her!🤣😍
You get the best of two worlds with the Silver Seraph. A classic look and a quite modern driving experience.
That's cool they used the column shifter that sticks into gear. Not a fan of the new ones that don't stick in place.

Styling is vastly superior to the recent models. Unfortunately keeping them on the road can be a challenge.
On the contrary .... Maintenance on these later models is quite good and inexpensive.

@@roddsala4626 Personally, I do not think the exterior silver/grey tones go with the interior yellowy/cream tones especially with the blue dash.
