VLR bad endings in a nutshell: *someone other than Sigma gets 9 BP* *They leave and the others just let it happen* or *Sigma gets 9 BP* *They stop him from leaving*
Beth Morris Never really thought about that. Probably has something to do with K's enormous size (no matter who's in there) compared to Sigma's physique. Even Tenmyouji could just literally kick his ass and he'd (Sigma) would still sweep.
Well, they stop sigma 3 times In one of them, sigma has a strange white liquid coming from his hand In the other, he just betrayed a sick child The other one is the game over when you betray Phi. But that is Sigma falt. He didn't rushed for the door in this one. He was thinking about timelines and stuff
"The number nine door has closed. This ends the Nonary Game. Thank you for your participation. As the game is over, all doors other than the number 9 door have been unlocked. Escape is not possible. Please enjoy your stay."
VLR be like when you betray: "OMG how DARE you betray me I trusted you!!!" when you get betrayed: "Lmao get over it kid so what if I betrayed you grow up I play to win"
That one HURT. Phi and Luna were the only ones I trusted - and then she stabs you in the back like that, for a betrayal that you haven't even committed! Basically by betraying you, she makes SURE that she herself gets betrayed =/
To be fair, that same ending also was foreshadowed, in the fact that Alice, in the first vote, would vote Ally or Betray depending on your vote, setting up for when it happens to Phi next match.
That's why I like how it was called out at the end of ZTD. If people were to be blamed for their alternate versions then everyone would be guilty of something.
K is so amazing. He assaults, kills, murders, and betrays people throughout the routes, frequently without an apology. Even then, you can never really blame him or stay mad at him.
The song conveys more than one emotion. It shows that you're in a bad situation, but it also has an uplifting tone that's saying, "it's over.... but it's not over!"
It is the true nature of this Nonary Game, after all. Each bad ending may feel like a dead end but it never is. It's just one more ramification for the termite mound.
"Three... Two... One..... Zero. Chromatic doors closing." I think the music was fitting for that exact situation. Also, very well used in the endings. Not necessarily sad or depressing, just giving you that feeling, that the game is over.
A cold chill fills the air and sobering thoughts fill your mind. How did things end up like this? What if you'd done things differently and made everything right? If only. If only...
My favorite song from the ost. It always plays at just the right moment to get a powerful reaction out of the player. Goes super well with every scene it's in.
This song gives me a mixture of feelings. Its not like Quiteus (or whatever the bad ending song was) in that it sounds absolutely horrifying, but makes me think more like "if only I would have made a different choice..." The kind of song that makes me want to jump right back into a game and keep trying. :3
This track went well with my rage filled screams at the amount of betrayal I was subject to with during the game. So much so, I would rename this track "Let's all fuck over Sigma".
Yeah. At first I kind of annoy how the game keep the player from going out despite how easy the other player does so in the other bad ending. But after THAT happened, I came to realize that it made sense. From their perspective, YOU are the most suspicious person the entire time.
You forgot "All doors besides door number 9 will be unlocked", which is supprising they didnt use that fact is plot in anyway, like room that opens only when door numer 9 is close
"The victim was Ian Arts, a former police investigator. He was hosting a private party at his mansion on the night of the murder. The defendant was one of the guests that attended. We suspect that during the party, the defendant snuck off and went into the victim's study. The victim finally showed up and - well, the defendant shot him! Hearing the noise, the guests rushed to the door. They broke it down. When they entered, the defendant was just standing there in the middle of the room. Right next to the defendant was the victim - dead."
***** The creator says sigma didn't notice his voice because of the processing speed cause of radical-6 0.o And he said he didn't recognize the recording voice cause your voice always sounds diff on recording :p
We are lead to believe Sigma has the face of a young man, in one branch he see's K's face before they both die from poisoning, and says that its exactly like him. However, at the very end when everybody all see's K's face, they remark they have never seen him before, despite Sigma's insistence its his face. Cue one dash to a pool and the secret is revealed, Sigma is actually an old man, his body is way older than it should be.
You know, after learning the truth, I began to feel really bad for Phi and Clover. Especially Clover in some cases, damn that must’ve been creepy as hell. :D
His ridiculous amount of perv remarks, mind you, kinda makes you wonder what went through Phi's head when she used the idea of him losing the chance to see her in a swimsuit to try and inspire Sigma into action in one of the branches.
@@ThatoneFelicia watch "What The Internet Did to Garfield" by Supereyepatch Wolf and you'll see why. He uses this very song during a very pivotal moment in his essay.
You can make some kind of... weaker version. Like with Sonic Unleashed, there were two versions of the game. Wii and PS2 had one, X360 and PS3 had another one.
This song is someho more uplifting than "Quietus", the Game Over track from 999. In VLR, most endings involve the opening of the number 9 door but most of the characters are still alive and now have a full warehouse to explore, it is bad but it is livable for potentially years. In 999 however all bad endings imply they will die when the 9 hours end, but it doesn't matter because usually everyone is already brutally dead. VLR's Game Over is almost uplifting, like "the game is over but it's not necessarily the end, there is more to discover" (one character ending takes place after the number 9 door has closed, after all), 999's Game Over is "this is it. Madness reigns and you are nothing more".
I still wish that they use "Quietus" in this game though. They don't necessary need to use it in every ending, just the ones where you and everybody dies. The ultimate bad ending of the game, the "you fucked up big time" situation.
You do realize they would need to build EVERYTHING about the DS version from the ground up. You can't just take what you have and downgrade it to DS quality. Game development doesn't work that way. And they aren't going to redo the ENTIRE game just so people like you who can't afford a 3DS can play it. It's nowhere near profitable enough to be worth the time or money. Shell out or watch it on TH-cam. It might not seem fair, but those are your options.
no... Actually many times i wish i was the murder as it would make the most sense to me lol. I wanted to kill phi so badly for awhile. I was forced to restart the game from scratch finding out passwords chance every time you do this and trying to be the way the character was suppose to be the ultra nice guy who died allot. Never liked clover cause i knew what she could do. I was shocked that i could trick her however it was amusing.

VLR be like

Well it is a different timeline. People will react differently based on what happens.

"You know who Zero is?"
"Yeah..I know EXACTLY who Zero is.."
I love how they saved the actual reveal until the true ending
Not to mention the reunion, for us player, with the actual Zero. Using 999 graphic and all that.

I think the music was fitting for that exact situation. Also, very well used in the endings. Not necessarily sad or depressing, just giving you that feeling, that the game is over.
