Took videos n pics and advertised lawnmower for sale, first guy comes and doesn't start, followed your instructions and spot on, took few hours ,now starts big tnx
Tighten the flywheel nut first and then check the gap , good job of explaining everything and why The only thing I do differently is I put a tad of oil on bolts because every one washes there mowers
Hi i enjoyed your video, please keep up the great work, I have a honda with manual choke lever on the handle bar, it won't start, I tried to do a quick clean with a welding tip cleaner down the main jet without taking the carb off but that didn't work, it would start on low but run then die, it did run before i'm at a loss please help thank you.
Sounds like your carburetor is starving for fuel. Start simple and work your way through it… Check your fuel filter, fuel lines and make sure your air filter is not clogged. If all those check out you may have to take the carburetor off and clean it Which isn’t too difficult task. Praying you have a great success and let us know what you find.
@helpinguonline to be honest I've never removed a honda carb that has a manual cable style choke is there anything I should look out for? I appreciate your kind and timely response, I will definitely keep you posted!
@helpinguonline hi, I cleaned up my carburetor on my honda with out removing it just took the bowl off and into the intake and jets up the emulsion tube with carb spray, pulled the cord it fired right up on the third pull then tried again fired on the second pull then the first pull works great idles nice fast and slow work great.
Yes. Common sense cures a multitude of evils. One thing. The action of the "kill switch". How does it work? I saw you connect the kill switch wire to the solenoid. How about the other end.
On a push lawnmower like that the other end is just hooked to metal somewhere on the lawnmower with a screw to ground it when that switch connects. On a riding lawnmower it goes to the key switch to complete the ground

Lack of routine maintenance and common sense like quite leaving old fuel in it
Would like to know if anybody knows if this switch is on a 7.25 exi 163cc Husq motor
Put a new spark plug in it .
