Desa Swing, Bali are located in very picturesque setting, surrounded by green valley, very long river of Ayung, and countryside view of Bongkasa village.
When we were going towards Desa Swing, we had mixed feelings. On one hand, there was super excitement on visiting world famous Bali Swing and anticipation about likely experience there, and on the other hand, there was a tinge of uncertainty or discomfort too! Are these swings going to be safe?
When you are literally tossed up high in the air hundreds of feet above ground level, with a huge river flowing down under alongside breath-taking greenery and natural beauty, well, sheer adrenaline rush is phenomenal!
But after some initial moments of goose bumps, it was fun, excitement and joy all the way! Something we had not experienced for a long while.
The ticket price for both of us (including fancy dress on hire for Sunita) was about USD 75. It was one time payment and after this there was no restriction on number of rides on the swings. There were in all 7 swings of different levels of height and thrill, and we could ride on all of them any number of times. So the fun was virtually limitless and unending.
Something we are unlikely to forget for a very very long time!
