don’t think it was a “i don’t deserve it” but more that she knew she is close to the end of her life at 83. think she was hoping not to be taking resources from a hypothetical 26 year old that needs medical attention. either way, very brave thing to say ❤
I’m italian and I lived in uk for a while. The doctors, paramedics, nurses etc in uk are amazing, all the people who work in hospitals are kind with empathy for others, in Italy is not the same at all. I remember when I dislocated my shoulder, the doctors are the most beautiful souls and professional that I ever met. You Brit are very fortunate ☺️ PS sorry for my bad English 😅😅
I live in such a small city that we never have to wait for an ambulance. It's crazy to me that they have to wait. They need more ambulances and paramedics there
Where would the extra paramedics take the patients they get lots of crews have to wait once at the hospital because they have not enough beds in wards for patients they need another hospital also but than where would you get the doctors and nurses for the new hospital big shortage of both
@@lisashykora5916 Clearly you either need more ambulances, more hospitals, more ERs, more NPs, more PAs, etc. There is always a way to train and recruit providers if that's the solution. OR you need to reduce the number of patients. In the US we don't call for an ambulance or go to the ER unless it's life or death. That's probably because it's too expensive, which is a terrible way to limit calls. Where there's a will to fix the problem, there's a way.
Thanks so much Banjay, another corker. I wish you and your family a peace-filled and happy new year. Oh and judging by the info the next episode is going to be very interesting as well, can't wait!
Ria was so unlucky to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope she can put her awful experience behind her. That creep definitely aint worth all the anxiety. Just a pathetic coward..
seeing that baby cup on the dashboard of the man who flipped his car WOW why do people still continue to drink and drive, that little girl could have been without a father 😡😡
We really are so spoiled in the United States. That lady is in severe pain and was apprehensive about calling for an ambulance because there were younger people that needed the paramedics help. Most people in the US would just be complaining about how long it took or that they didn't get enough pain relief
us in the US are only able to access this level of care if we have great insurance or are wealthy. Most lower paid people can't even afford an ambulance. To me, those who have the NHS really are the ones with better care.
I'm wondering if the police were called for Ria's assault. I'm also wondering why she didn't get an evaluation at the hospital if only for evidence for a police report. Maybe we just didn't see everything?
Jean would of benefited from the green whistle rather than that device, it looked a little heavy and hard for her to breathe it in, especially with spine pain.. the green whistle is smaller lighter and it dont take much to breathe it in. Bless her sweet lady❤ Wow I feel awful for Dave, caring and decent guy trying to help someone in need and they assault him and cause injury to him like that!!! Absolutely disgusting!! I hope that person was held accountable!!!
26:12 Very dismissive of the paramedics to assume that the situation they are going to is just a simple girl fight. They shouldn't comment before they've got the facts.
I am about to seem heartless here but did the mother of that 12 year old call an ambulance because her daughter had a bruised eye? Surely that was meant for the police with regards to the incident rather than paramedics for that minor injury? You telling me she couldn't have got a taxi to A&E for that? Sorry for moaning but a lot of cases are life threatening, I just didn't think that was.
The empathy shown by these ambulance guys is unmatchable by any other. I take my hat off to everyone one of them. 100% respect
These people don’t get paid enough . They are absolute angels .
Nobody is talking about david....bless him and his wife how can someone so vile attack a elderly man and woman trying to help you...💔
Without question these people are earth angels. From those taking the calls to the ambulance crews and paramedics. We are lucky to have them.
Jean, I would argue that _YOU_ and your generation has paid more into the NHS than someone younger, so perhaps you are more deserving. ❤

David is still a hero in my eyes

I find it so funny that she cared more about the car then him
When that one ambulance driver said that his children were 26 and 19 I was like you don't look that old! And then she said the same thing LOL
They just don’t get paid enough , they are the angels of the nhs
You can see why so many people just walk on by when they see someone collapsed, when the hero gets assaulted.
We're terrified of ambulances. This show helps us not be so scared.
Why r u terrified of ambulances?
We?
What?

Sounds that easy doesn't it 🤷♀️
Thank-you for the show it's brilliant to watch its a pan of scouse love ambulances we're dead without I wish you all the for Christmas and New year.
Wow, those are some weak sentences for those crimes. Assault a 15 year old girl and get 21 weeks suspended? Pathetic.
Should be more like 21 years
Sounds like another "bleeding heart" legal team
Love these Series, far more uplifting than the Crime podcasts!
I'm from michigan USA but these ambulance people need much respect 🎉
18:11 He doesn't seem at all bothered that he could have easily killed someone.
What lovely people these paramedics and dispatchers are!❤

I respect respect your business business and business and thank you for all your business 45:65
The financial strain drugs and alcohol must have on the NHS
Heroes all, thank you from Ireland!

12 yo girls should be home by dark. London isn’t safe.
Senior Paramedic Tony 😍😍
Haha, I was thinking the same! They’d have to check my heart twice!
❤ jean was so sweet

Hopefully. They seemed very dismissive of it.
that car will not be insured , its gonna cost the ownner dearly
Doesn't a vehicle in the UK have to be insured in order to be financed?
@ yes , I meant the driver will null and void the insurance
Driving in flip flops would get you a hefty fine in Italy where I live. Open backed sandals are a no no.
@@ginadimuro6890
Yes! I managed to break bones tripped up by flip flops! 😥
Liverpool Beatles city❤ Sounds like a friendly and HUMAN city.
Where are the police for Ria????!!!
Why couldn’t the guy who was shivering on the curb be taken to the car with the heating on??
