17:41 absolutely gutted me! Awww… Love! Was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was 26. Many surgeries and years of chemo and radiation later, I was declared cancer free at 33. Now,the cancer has overcome my kidneys, liver, colon and urinary tract. I am just praying to make it to my only grandchild’s kindergarten graduation in May of 2025 and, God willing, maybe my 50th birthday the end of July 2025. My heart breaks so badly for those we leave behind… we just leave… they are left, brokenhearted.

I love the banter between the crew and with their patients. Also loved the fact that after a particular job, the bearded ambulance driver asked his colleague in the call centre if she was okay. None of these people are robots, they are human beings like you and I. I have so much respect for them.

The female paramedic that has PTSD, is a love. She is brilliant at her job and such a lovely person. I wish her all the best as I do for all the Frontline workers ❤

This brings me back to a LTCH home fire we attended. Fire just kept dragging bodies out and we had to triage. Ambos kept up a shuttle run to our small hospital. I forget how many people died.

Being someone who worked for the NHS for 13 years down in Bristol ( i am orginaly from manchester) ...NOT frontline like the ambulance service, Aand E , or a hospital! BUt i worked for the NHSBT (blood and transplant) and i was proud to say i did that job as it is a backbone for blood supplies and transplants for the hospitals ...were i worked we made and produced out of the blood donations , red cells, plasma, platelets, serum, and many other things that help save lives aftr someone comes in via the ambluance service to hospitals ...the ambulance service is in my view the life savers at the start of things and they deserve the respect! Ihave had to use them myself after have ing a stroke at 48 and a mini one at 49 ...im now 54 and still not in great health ..to me even when this was filmed the ambulance servise was streached and tbh things have not changed in 2024 sadly

My daughter is 45 and has worked for the health service for over 20 years. I know the toil it has took on her, physical and mental. As a physio she has to deal with many aspects of human fragility, vulnerability and emotions. Her job doesn't involve getting people walking, it engages with the patient, their problems, and their families including their social issues. Sometimes GP issues. I don't think a lot of people realise how much they give to the community. God bless them. xxx

29:51 I love the attitudes of the Liverpool ambulance lady, being Irish myself - as an older Irish gay man in the U.K. 23 years, I can relate to her struggles with PTSD, given my 30 years in supermarket retailing and my own experiences of homophobic bullying 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪😍😍😍😍😍

Paramedics don't get paid nearly enough. So many of them need to work second jobs on top of it to make a living and this job is worth easily at least 3 in demand, stress, and value.

I don’t know any paramedics in uk who work second jobs.Their shifts are 12 hours.

Do these people have cars?! Some of them aren't "true" emergencies and others are dying.
