Before anyone gets all “kids these days” about the boy wanting his phone; his phone offers a sense of normalcy in a situation that is entirely new. It’s also a form of communication and distraction from an incredibly difficult and terrifying situation. A phone is replaceable and not important to his health and safety in the moment, but, it gives him comfort in knowing he has control over a small part of a situation, and that he has something familiar with him. Comfort is comfort, it’s not a bad thing
I hope that paramedics partner sees this and exactly what she went through attending this thinking it could be him. Motorbikes give you all the freedom and it doesn’t matter how well you ride it’s others most of the time on the road. I literally went through that part of this with her. To be emergency response like these guys takes a special kind of person it takes so much more from them than people realise
An incredibly eye-opening documentary showcasing the dedication and resilience of emergency responders. Thank you to all the heroes who work tirelessly to save lives and provide care in the toughest situations. Truly inspiring!
What a fantastic job to have, and all of you are doing it with skill and compassion. Its so different from health services in America, and your citizens should count their blessings.
Saddest thing for paramedics is when someone has passed away on scene from getting hurt. Must be so mentally exhausting and traumatizing for the doctors nurses and paramedics to see people die infront of them. Emergency workers have one of the hardest jobs saving peoples lifes respect to them for risking there lifes to help others same as police and any other emergency team👏
May sound harsh but the longer you deal with bad situations the more you learn to leave work at work and personal life separate. Some emergencies stay with you and the hardest part is if I done something different, if I got there quicker. Most cases are as simple as, if that person hadn't done what the did to put themselves in the situation. Children are devastating
TH-cam automated subtitles are seriously the worst. I wish they would hire someone to do them, so that anyone who needs them can actually understand what’s happening
@ it is checked against TH-cam or generated ones which are notoriously bad but the creator has to upload it and basically put the right text at the right time and all that and then okay it sometimes you get a third-party manual review if it’s reported for being an accurate to TH-cam

Ironically a decent chunk of the people who complain about that, are also doing it on their phones.
👍🎄
You are absolutely right!
It's the equivalent of a teddy bear for an older child.
It’s a comfort to adults also , I can’t leave my house without my phone it’s my lifeline if I feel a panic attack coming on
The policeman on the phone laughing at the burglar lol

Ty Lynn our N.H.S has been underfunded for many years our politicians prefer to give our taxes to other countries.

Your programs are very well done. You capture the emotions perfectly and give all thr necessary info.
It makes no sense why Fire is not dispatched to medical calls it would shorten response times.
Wow they were surprisingly clueless about THC vape pens lol
I found that extremely odd.
That was so bizarre to me 😂
Does that thc pen come under need to know for medical emergency which these people attend???
@@FKNANGRYBRITthc can affect anesthesia I know that (I do smoke it )
all forms of THC are illegal in Britain.
If someone burgled my house I am not sure if I would call an ambulance for them
I was thinking give his ankle a squeeze until I saw that fracture
The poor young lad Alex being pushed on that bridge hope he gets better
The lady coughing up blood. I do that but my varices are monitored for any worsening. I feel so bad for her 😢
Alex was pushed? 😳
You are all angels 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
That must be a insanely hard desicion to make to stop lifesaving help because is to late for the pasient..
The building that the call centre is in makes me think it’ was an old hospital that’s been refurbished.

Why do they use that high squeal sound? Hurts the ears!
The poor little girl hit buy the car
For pity’s sake, get a better transcription. Subtitles almost unintelligible. I could do a better job.

@@motionless_horizon in this case a transcription has actually been approved for this video so it means that it has been uploaded and certified
@@motionless_horizon agreed!
@UKsystemsI wonder who okayed the transcription🙄. I turned the transcription off.

Awful accent, don’t understand much. 😢
It's not an "awful accent" it is a regional accent. what is your accent?
Some of it is scouser, that is an "awful accent!" 😉
