Envy is definitely responsible for people investing with Cesar and instead of saying that he feels bad that people lost money he is more concerned about making himself look good. For someone who claims to care so much about making sure his people don’t get scammed and do well he did a terrible job.

Agree and disagree. I became a Real Estate Agent back in 2017, the class ONLY teaches you to be compliant with the law and few principles about real estate and prepare you for your state license. Not only did I need a MENTOR, I had one help me with my first transaction/sale. Once you're licensed, you're on your own. FIND A MENTOR! I'll be glad to help!

As for Envy, I truly don’t believe he had a hand in actually scamming people. However, he is the face of that company and he bares a responsibility to own up to that. To say Tony the closer didn't get anything out of the seminar makes alot of sense. Those seminars are for beginners. Tony is a an advanced real estate investor. No one with a graduate degree is going to go back to kindergarten and learn anything.
The problem isn't what they learned or didn't learn, its the Upsell to invest with Caesar thats the problem.
Listening to DJ Envy for the first time makes me further believe that not only he's duly responsible for those investors getting scammed out of their money but he's also the type of "cornball" clown 🤡 that turns his head when he knows his crooked partner is doing business in the same room

I remember when Envy use to promote his and Caesar real estate seminars on the breakfast club Without giving a disclaimer this could’ve or could be a liability for the owner of the breakfast club.

The radio stations going to put out a disclaimer saying that the thoughts and opinions of their guests are not of their own but DJ envy who is an employee and not an owner of iHeart who made the disclaimer can kind of make the company liable. Now because DJ envy is trying to separate himself he is going to need his own disclaimer speaking for himself against anything that may happen with his other partners but he has not been doing that. Another thing that the courts may look at and they can actually take from this video is that he said that he was going to make sure Caesar pay these people back now if you have nothing to do with with Caesars doing why would you make sure that this man pay these people back that's him being still involved and the workings of this company that he claims he is not a part of

You are spot on you said everything right, my thing is what is Cesar was doing shady shit behind envy back with him and envy's name on the contracts, but he's trying to speak and sign for the both of them. We never all never know because we were never there nor involved. I just think Cesar is a snake and willing to bring anyone down with him. Envy brought up a lot of valid points BUT you also have to be accountable for what your partners do. I have partners in my business and if a partner does one of our clients wrong I am part liable. Envy shares some responsibility in this. He should of terminated that partnership a long time ago if he saw the red flags and let it be known to everyone that he’s not affiliated w that partner.

Once you partner with someone, and you vouch for them and people invest their money because of that vouch, you will be help accountability for all their bad actions regardless if you are involved or not

I actually attended DJ Envy & Cesar seminar in Jersey City at the Westin for $100 the place was pack MG the Mortgage Guy (in which I spoke too) EYL The Credit Dude & some Hard Cash lending company was there they give away a lot gems and brochures. At the end there was no upselling only selling Trap/Landlord merch in the lobby afterwards.
He said his seminars were free 😮

I have to agree with envy when you’re investing and putting your money into anything you can listen to whoever you want but it is still up to you to actively research these people. There’s some people in the industry with really good intentions, and there’s some people who have underlying intentions that only they know about.
To assume one person currently knows with another person is doing is not a fair responsibility to put on envy. If he’s guilty, it’s by association.

I understand Envy's position on this as "I can't and shouldn't be held accountable for bad business dealings with someone I did business with". However, Envy has to owe the fact he platformed/promoted someone who is an alleged scammer. Depending on how much Envy knew will tell you how much of this is a moral/ethical issue and/or criminal one. Either way, it is a cautionary tale not every rich person is smart (most aren't); they just have more resources and power often time to try something and rebound that's it.

Tony don’t be asking enough follow up questions when people contradict themselves. When Envy said he does his homework, but pretends he doesn’t know what’s going on with Cesar then Tony should have asked him did HE do his homework on Cesar? If he did and didn’t find anything alarming then how would he expect “the culture” to find any red flags by also doing their homework. Tony also could have asked Envy why would he allow Cesar to continue to use his likeness or continue being partners with Cesar? That’s just to name a few of several missed opportunities to really dig in to the mud.
People didn’t directly give Envy money, they gave it to Caesar and Caesar gave money to Envy and that’s what ties Envy in.
Pretty sure he wasn’t marketing that fraud to millions of people for nothing. Envy doesn’t strike me as someone who would do anything for free. And his father is a cop so he has resources to vet people and I’m sure this fraud scammed people before Envy and he became partners.

This was a reach. I went to one of the seminars at the Javis center and Envy is right. He said these are the ppl I deal with but he also told everyone to do their own homework. Investing is a risk, just because X did right by you doesn't mean they will do right by me. Thanks for the advice Envy, I'm enjoying my home.
