Envy platformed him, promoted him, set up scammy seminars where THEY took ppl's money and encouraged ppl to invest. And we're supposed to believe he did all that for free, No financial gain.... GTFOH. That's his partner. To say he's innocent is crazy.
In a lot of the promoting he uses “we” and “us” when referring to pina and himself. The idea that he isn’t complicit is a bit of a stretch.
Yeah the documentary they were self filming envy said “together we’ve made over a 100 million in real estate.” So it’s either they worked together or that was a lie to build reputation and attention to make it seem they both were reliable sources.
So He either falsely promoted or they worked together either way proving he wasn’t involved is honestly a long shot
Envy has been involved in this from the start. I remember when he all of a sudden became this real estate guy. Now he’s trying to cut ties with dude like they weren’t business partners. Envy was the CSO of their company and I believe he was responsible for marketing the scheme to find investors. That’s why he reached out to so many celebs. This is a good ole Ponzi scheme and I find it hard to see Envy getting out of this.
Might not stick in criminal court (wink Wink) but civil court he's liable for a couple of Millions.

The "give people returns a couple times then run off" is a common thing in MANY investment scams. The idea is to give them good returns on smaller amounts until the victim feels comfortable enough to finally give you a relatively huge chunk of money, then they disappear and move on to the next pool of victims.

The way I see things if ENVY made calls to celebraties and others on behalf of Ceasar and co-signed Ceasar's business, he deserves to be held accountable for letting someone use his name to do that business. Aside from the money, people may have invested in Ceasar based off of ENVY's recommendation. Furthermore, a public figure like ENVY should have known every bit of pertinent information about Ceasar's business before attaching his name to it.
Envy has some Paterson roots, he know what’s going on. Ngl too, I always used to wonder how Envy had all those cars and that house just off his radio gig. I was seeing CTG everywhere but Envy looked like he had all the money.

The piece Ish missed is that Cesar took the money and promised the profits by a certain time. He got money for properties he owned and some he never owned multiple times from different people. He used the seminars he and Envy set up to find more people to invest into his scam. Him and Envy going down because Envy is the big fish. He stood beside homie and used his platform to make him bigger and helped him reach a bigger audience. Smh

As a partner, he's jointly and severally liable for the fraud committed by his partners. I was the secretary for a coop board where the President stole money. A judge told me that we as a board were supposed to do our due dilligence and because we didn't, we were jointly and severally liable for the embezzlement.

Correct do your research first and foremost but for those who don’t do their research, doesn’t give meaning for some one to take advantage of their lack of knowledge and steal from them. If I’m a doctor I do my real estate research on certain things but if I don’t have the time this is where I pay some one who went to school for economics, business, accounting, ect to take my money and invest it based on there skills educational background and obviously for that particular person who does the work he or she gets paid a percentage for there hard labor but to take all of my money because I didn’t watch a 1hr youtube video and do my research is INSANE and evil.

Dj Envy was listed as the CSO on the homepage, he represented himself as part of it through the entire duration in repeatedly bringing him onto his platforms and stating “invest with us, we, together” etc. At best he was a co conspirator in that he just said all that but wasn’t in which case he will be implicated
At worst he will be held accountable to the same degree as Cesar.
If he benefited in any way whatsoever (stock, fees, commissions, share increases from inflows, profit share increases etc) they will find it in discovery and this will be a nail in the coffin on equally liable as Cesar. If not he will still be held accountable for representing himself as that

Envy considered himself partners with Peña. He used terms like “we” and “us”. They did seminars together. They did commercials together where Envy asked people to invest. His hands are not clean. Then when it went bad, he wants to say, “well people should have done their own research”. No YOU should have done yours! Pena was an ex con that scammed “your people” with your help. 🤡

Similar situation happened to me in High school Dude on my block would get BAPE, 7 jeans and a ton of other brand name clothes at a LOW price. He got a few ppl things, no issue. It's my go around and dude ran off with $300 bucks. Stop answering phone calls, would drive by the block when ever he saw my friends and I outside. When we finally caught up with him, he said he's working on it. When something sounds too good to be true, turn the other way. Lucky for me it was when I was in High School and only $300.
It's called a Profit/Loss Statement. There's no need to explain over the phone just e-mail everyone the detailed report on the investments just so they know their money wasn't used at the strip club.
