Today I passed my immunology exam after many tries, can't thank you enough for your immunology series, it allowed me to understand immunology as a whole, because ALL the topics are intrinsically related here, and I think it's something that doesn't occur in other disciplines where the topics are more independent (not sure if it makes sense for somebody else or it's just me xD) Thanks for making good quality videos, I'm sure it takes a lot of time but it's so much worth it. Thanks again, I really mean it, and keep up the good work, you're awesome.
You are helping shape many awesome doctors out of this bunch of Ninja Nerds!!! You are exponentially saving sooooo many lives!!!! The world owes you BIG BIG THANK YOUUUUUs!!!
I genuinely think that almost solely studying with all of the videos by Ninja Nerd could almost get you through med school. Of course, there is more stuff like certain types of physical examination, internships etc. that one has to learn/go through, but for the theoretical part of med school I’ve almost only studied with your guys‘ videos and passed every single exam (with really good grades, on a side note). Y‘all should genuinely just establish your own med school one day where Professors etc. are trained to teach like you, I‘m 100% sure you‘d have some of the highest graduation and overall passing rates on exams etc. 😂❤️ I just can‘t thank you enough for the work you all put in to these videos and this channel, you are helping SO MANY people so unbelievably much. You guys are without a single doubt real heroes. Y‘all don’t get anywhere near enough recognition for the so important work that you do. Thank you, really, from the bottom of my heart. You‘re the best ❤️
You're the only reason I've been able to digest the physiology content in my PT program, I would be wildly confused without your awesome videos. Thank you so much for your amazing teaching!
I rarely comment on videos, but had to come back here to thank you deeply for your Immunology classes. I was barely able to attend any classes during last semester because of COVID complications and I was freaking out the night before my Immunology exam not knowing anything at all. Thanks to you I managed to pass. Thank you so much. Amazing videos.
You are absolutely AWESOME! I've been watching your videos for almost 3 years and I needed to thank you. Great job all the team. And you, Zach are the best teacher!
TBH this immunology series cures depression, you describe the entire process with such enthusiasm and love to the matter that it made me appreciate how my very human body fights every second to protect itself :')
I was like dang this guy is either a damn good doctor or scientist....your intro video at PCOM popped up on my TH-cam to watch feed and I found out that your a fellow PA which makes me love your videos even more
You are an amaziiiiing teacher!! Thank you so much for making these videos. You are truly talented !!!! I didn’t understand immunology at all at first just from the uni lessons, but these few videos made it so clear, THANK YOU!
Something I couldn't put together for days, you put into a beautiful story that now makes perfect sense! Thank you for your videos! Thanks to you I get straight As in all my exams! Keep doing it, please!
I am made at myself why you are not hitting it to million subscribers!! No body can match your potential....!! Thank you sir,lot of love and respect for you...
Your teaching style and explanations are amazing!! You get the point across with every video. You should make a video on how you prep and teach. Then you'd have mini-professor Zachs-- worldwide.
Hello ninja nerd, first thank you so much for your videos they saved my life. Can you make more immunology videos, because a vast subject, and i think many people, other than me need them ( cytokines and chemokines, Dendritic cells, MHC, B-cells development, immunological synapse). Thank you deserve so much more recognition.
Incredible job with this video. Seriously amazing that you're able to provide all of this. It must help with reconciling your knowledge of the topics hey?
Always love your detailed lecture videos! One thing I haven’t been able to fully understand… How do RBCs (anucleated) able to avoid aptosis by NK cells since they lack MHC I molecules?
May I ask a question: You said the MHC1 is present on all nucleated cells, as the erythrocytes aren't nucleated, how come the NKcells do not target them or did I get something wrong?
In order for NK cell to kill another cell it has to meet two criteria. 1. Down regulation of MHC class I molecules 2. Stress signals from the target cell to the NK which activates their cytotoxic activity. Erythrocytes meet the first criteria however they don’t send required stress signals to the NK cells (unless they want to be killed) thus not meeting the second criteria. Also they express CD47 marker as mentioned previously which inhibits NK activation. Hope this helps!
Quicksilver : I am the fastest man alive Flash : Oh really? You don't run fast enough to leave light behind, do you ? Meanwhile Zack ( Immunology in 14 minutes stat) : Bring my marker! These noobs need some lessons!!

Here iam again 🖐😂 watching my review... whenever i have a school lecture reporting, i always come to you.. it helped me alot.. thanks... keep going bro! Godbless
based on what you say on cellular immunity you mean that if cells of resp epithelium for example are infected with a virus, these epithelial cells will migrate to the lymph nodes??
Is there a Nobel prize for teaching ? I have been watching your channel for over 2 years now. Cannot thank you enough!
best biochiemistry teacher is this one, best math teacher is the italian professor Maurizio Schirinzi of EasyMath

How do RBCs (anucleated) able to avoid aptosis by NK cells since they lack MHC I molecules?
what prize do you want professor Murphy? since you smashed this so well under 20 minutes :)
Just want to let you know, your the reason my semester at my med school has passing our classes :D
May I ask a question:
You said the MHC1 is present on all nucleated cells, as the erythrocytes aren't nucleated, how come the NKcells do not target them or did I get something wrong?
Right. The erythrocytes doesn't have MHC-1 but they express CD47 in their surface (it does the same function).
In order for NK cell to kill another cell it has to meet two criteria.
1. Down regulation of MHC class I molecules
