He’s probably the best player in North America rn and is absolutely cracked. I’d highly encourage looking up him playing in tournament if you wanna see some great 3S gameplay

Man, i laugh so hard beacuse of "parry button". Great match, by the way.
Based on one I know, a parry is a tap forward for high and a tap down for low at the right time. The only "parry macros" i can think of are opponent-specific for specific super arts.
Possibly the joystick must be able to sense either the screen, or the remote opponent's controller, or the code.
The last option is mad skills.

Try to throw a curveball and pick a second charater, and you'll see whether they understand the whole concept of parrying, or where they just mastered the "Vs Chun Li" parry.
@@neckbeardcat6777 but would that be against most tournament rules. 1 input per function and one function per input? Plus SOCD rules must be obeyed?
Finally is it true that each hit must be timed right to the exact frame (which means unless you got a CRT TV forget it.) and designed that blind spam parrying will cost you either mistimed or wrong hi vs lo.

Watching Justin Wong, undeniably one of the best SF3:TS players on the planet and the template for 90% of Chun-Li players, lose to newer, less common, tactics from newer players, is extremely beneficial to people wanting to learn about the latest and greatest play styles, and I'm glad he does these videos.

It was precisely the curse of the Daigo parry and win back in Evo 04. At that moment he nerfed Justin's Wong Factor in 3S, and in other SFs when he is the opponent. So Justin can only freely use the Wong Factor in other games like MvC, CvS2, etc.

LOL folks honestly how are y'all so surprised by this? 3rd Strike been around for how long? People have had over 15 years to study his Chun-Li and learn how to parry that super. Can't remember if it was the Anniversary Edition that got released back on the Xbox 360 and PS3 that even let you practice EVO Moment #37.

It's not like full parries were invented by Daigo anyways. He was already trained to do it. And was not even dedicated to 3S (seems like he isn't a fan). So if even he knew it, it must not be an exceptional and rare skill in his 3S competitive circle.

In 2022 everybody who still cares about 3S can parry Chun's super II.
But it is rare to do against a real opponent, especially online.
