Y'all, I don't believe that this is them leaving Exandria behind. The fact that we're getting Divergence AFTER the campaign finale, I don't think they'd end their time with Exandria on a side story. I do, however, think we'll be jumping quite a bit of time ahead, so that C4 will have no story connections to previous campaigns
I tend to agree. Business-wise, it would be a really risky move. They have so many stuff connected to Exandria already, between books, animations, merch and such.
Or it’s gonna be like the other ones where it’s far enough out that a lot has settled. Probably another 20-30 years. Oh no, we might lose Percy next campaign!
I think they're gonna pull some sort of world-reset event/very big time jump. Something like that. I think that Divergenec may actually be about that, in fact.
As much as I’d love him to as well I don’t think he will. He’s already part of a comedy trio with Max Mittelman and Ray Chase, and they go to every convention with each other. They also started their own video game company and release their first game in a couple weeks.

Oh man, I can't even imagine how crazy this is going to get when the story finally ties all the way together because I'm only on campaign 2 episode 43 now. I'm sure I'll be able to catch up to the current episode by the time it comes out though
Gonna stock up on tissues for that finale. Bells Hells means so much to me, and campaign 3 has gotten me through some of the roughest parts of my life. Thank you all so much for bringing us all joy and beautiful storytelling when we needed it most
I was introduced to CR while C2 was airing. I opted to not plunge in at the time since it was mid-season and it felt odd to start "there". When C3 started, I hopped on board and haven't left since. I'm slowly making my way through C1 while staying caught up on C3 so I know I have missed some lore significance but I've enjoyed the ride all the same. Sad to see BH go, but excited to see what you all do next!
I would love for Robbie to stay, but IDk how they do it with both him and Ashley reliably full-time now. I don't think they originally meant for him to come back full-time after Travis came back, he/Dorrian was just so great in the first part. The only negative is that it makes for a big screen of players if they ever want a guest, but that is a real negative. I don't think (and hope not) any original cast is wanting to back away yet. Robbie is something they desperately need as they expand and try to make their business sustainable outside of the core campaign- reliable, loved-by-the-community cast members, and if they had 2 more that fit that, plus a DM maybe they could split and have 2 "main" campaigns, but I don't see that happening just yet. My current guess is they say fk-it and run a full cast next campaign, but there will need to be party splitting and other weird shenanigans to make that work. Otherwise someone could back out, it's been 10 years after all, and a new campaign is a 2 year commitment, but I think/hope they are all still loving their work. I know Sam had major health problems, but I hope he is fully back on his feet and here to stay. In any scenario they don't keep the 8 person cast (original players + Robbie) I would assume they would keep a role in the company, have arcs to guest play, and work hard on one of the many spin-off or "secondary" shows. That would make me sad but undoubtedly help the other show, be it Moonfall, EXU, Slayers Take, or something new. CR really wants one of them to take of in a comparable way. That is how they build Critical Role Land (joke), sustain long-term and continue (hopefully in the far distant future) after Matt tries to ease up.
Ditto in Utah. I'm a super night owl any way (don't generally get to sleep until about 3 am) but even I'm probably going to have to split up my viewing, lol.
A BODY SWAP ONE-SHOT!?!? I’ve literally been saying that I’ve wanted that since like, episode one of Campaign 3 I want Ferne/Laudna swap so bad it would be hilarious!
Oh Wow! Really wasnt expecting BH to wrap up in 1 more episode. Not trying to undermine the fires and all. But its really crazy that while there was utter chaos irl, Exandria was also thrown into utter chaos. Kinda fitting in a morose, melancholy sorta way 😅 Also, excited about another series featuring Brennan w/ Matt finally getting to play again.
Please please please announce a new campaign because I feel like we need it more than ever!! Critical role has been such a beacon of light and empathy and joy and laughs and togetherness that lacks so damn much and the world seems to be going the wrong way all over … you guys make such a difference … you give me so much respite thank you sincerely. All of the cast and crew and guests 👏 you all are a joy and make a difference
I don't think exandria will be gone totally. I'm assuming it will be a huge time skip like maybe a 100 years or so and will see what exandria is like a century after the gods left. So things will be different and it will allow them to swap to daggerheart with our being wierd that some rules in the universe have changed.
I really do hope that every character gets their piece and some things finally get resolved. Edit: Also, please take multiple breaks if you're doing 8 hours. You do not want to sit for that long.
NEIN freakin hour Finale! (it's nein because I will need to pause and pee, pause and eat, and pause and rewind because I expect to get sleepy, pass out, and probably need to rewind.) IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!
Damn. When Campaign 3 started I was determined to stay up to date and caught up, but here we are at the end and I barely made it halfway through before life got crazy. Now I have a lot of catch up to do to make it to the finale. But I am determined once more to make sure I stay up to date with Campaign 4.
So… like… am I the only one curious about what happened on these February dates?…. * Atlanta 2/3/19 * Houston 2/5/17 * Glendale 2/1/15 * Jacksonville 2/6/05 * Houston 2/1/04 * New Orleans 2/3/02
The end of True Heroism came at a time in my life with a lot of stuff in flux, and so the last year has been a real bugger to catch up on. This at least gives me a good incentive to try to get as caught up as I can before whatever comes next. Congratulations, Critical Role, on another campaign down. May there be as many more as you can spare us.😊
i'm sure that if they do a main season 4 it wont be in any timeline close to the one they are playing now to avoid direct link with the 3 first campaign. Maybe a few easter eggs like a place named after Caduceus. It will give a nice fresh new vibe i think
Yeah I'm guessing it might be a couple hundred years. So exandria has time to develop and adapt to a world without the gods. Plus then swapping to Daggerheart won't feel like such a huge shift to in universe lore.
it'll likely be more like c2 with very loose connections. I imagine an Issylra campaign likely. 20 years after c3 makes sense. by that time, characters like percy and allura will already have passed.
oh i am HYPED for the mini series. i love when brennan comes and GM's, he has this sort of atmosphere setting for the real chaotic shit that really fits the themes
Last week I was thinking "how can they pack epilogues into this session after the Predathos fight? Theres no time. When I realized the finale was 8 hrs it made me very excited. As a DM I really wish my last home campaign could have gotten a 8 hr epilogue to say goodbye to the friends we spent 3 years with.

Critical role producers: “just make a promo for the upcoming content. No weird stuff; no cutaways or bits. That okay, guys?” The cast: nods “yup … sure thing. So. A time-travel Terminator skit?”
Hopefully I will start to care about C4 like I did C1 (and most of C2). People are freaking out on the eight hours of the finale and I’m just adding that to the total time of not having watched campaign three at all.
Thank you to the whole Critical Role cast and crew and guests. In these difficult times you all have given a lot of the heartwarming connection and joy that we need to endure.

Oh man, I can't even imagine how crazy this is going to get when the story finally ties all the way together because I'm only on campaign 2 episode 43 now. I'm sure I'll be able to catch up to the current episode by the time it comes out though
Same! I'm a little further along, around episode 93, but I'm SURE I can catch up before this main event
Campaign 2, Episode 102, doing the best I can to catch up.
Campaign 2 episode 89 here. I'm sure I can at least finish c2 in time for a potential campaign 4
finished campaign 2 around a month ago… its so good
Good Luck!!
Gonna stock up on tissues for that finale. Bells Hells means so much to me, and campaign 3 has gotten me through some of the roughest parts of my life. Thank you all so much for bringing us all joy and beautiful storytelling when we needed it most
You all have the same energy of matt and marisha lighting the fireplace in their living room a few years ago
Minus the smoke alarms.
this might be me scrapping for crumbs but my brain for the last scene was "CR videogame"
a larian/bg3 cast/cr cast collab would honestly be amazing
@ trueeeee I hope they use a private studio and not a public studio like EA
Oh wow, the finale already? Excited for what’s next!
Already? Ive been expecting the finale to be the next episode for like 5 episodes…
I mean, it's been over 3 years already :O
I assume they'll all be playing gay characters.
@ Are you so insecure that this is something that makes you unstable?
@@AwesomeNuke It'd be nice if one out of 8 of them were straight.
"Making my way..."
Not sure who chose the music for the end. But its *chef's kiss*
Fell off C3 early on but excited the community will get to enjoy such a massive final episode and excited to see what a new campaign brings
Same!
Same! :D
Same. Excited for a new campaign and divergence
Aw man, what a shame. The story is getting CRAAAAZY; hopefully, Campaign 4 will be satisfying for you guys!
Same but I recommend catching up weather with the official catch-up or channel called marisha raygun. It is pretty good
Sooooo excited for Divergence and the C3 finale! I truly cannot wait to see what is in store ❤
Man, no news about Robbie staying, but I’m excited for the EIGHT and a HALF HOUR FINALE!? As an east coast viewer, pray for me 😂😂
I would love for Robbie to stay, but IDk how they do it with both him and Ashley reliably full-time now.
It will start @ 8pm here in Colorado. I need to buy some energy drinks and snacks to prepare...just like back in college. Wish me luck.
Ditto in Utah. I'm a super night owl any way (don't generally get to sleep until about 3 am) but even I'm probably going to have to split up my viewing, lol.
A BODY SWAP ONE-SHOT!?!?
I’ve literally been saying that I’ve wanted that since like, episode one of Campaign 3
I want Ferne/Laudna swap so bad it would be hilarious!
Oh Wow! Really wasnt expecting BH to wrap up in 1 more episode. Not trying to undermine the fires and all. But its really crazy that while there was utter chaos irl, Exandria was also thrown into utter chaos. Kinda fitting in a morose, melancholy sorta way 😅
Also, excited about another series featuring Brennan w/ Matt finally getting to play again.
I never knew i needed to see a timecop Liam... now i do...
The “end of our Exandrian threads” has me quaking in my boots a little, can’t deny it.
I don't think Exandria is ending maybe a world reset since one of their upcoming live events it is called "Daggerheart in Exandria"
Yeah I'm pretty confident in saying that they will not be using the DnD game system moving forward.
Hope that everybody stays safe both in CR- and LA-land! Cheers from Scandinavia ...
8hr episode LETSSS GOOOOO
Much love to you from the UK, thank you for doing what you do CR team
Matt: “I think we can all pretty much commiserate with that.”
Ashely: “I don’t know what you’re taking about” ✨🥰
NEIN freakin hour Finale!
(it's nein because I will need to pause and pee, pause and eat, and pause and rewind because I expect to get sleepy, pass out, and probably need to rewind.)
IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!
1.5 and 1.75 speeds exist 😂
@@swnick3386as do like 35 other speeds
Brehhhhh, I’ll be working at megacon Orlando all week! 😭 I hope you all have a rocking time! Wish I could hang out and enjoy the 9.5 hour finale.
Damn. When Campaign 3 started I was determined to stay up to date and caught up, but here we are at the end and I barely made it halfway through before life got crazy. Now I have a lot of catch up to do to make it to the finale. But I am determined once more to make sure I stay up to date with Campaign 4.
8 1/2 hours?! Holy smokes!
So… like… am I the only one curious about what happened on these February dates?….
* Atlanta 2/3/19
* Houston 2/5/17
* Glendale 2/1/15
* Jacksonville 2/6/05
* Houston 2/1/04
* New Orleans 2/3/02
So these are all dates of super bowls the New England Patriots became super bowl champs.
CAN'T WAIT FOR FEB 6TH
Edit: excited for all of the upcoming events, hope you all pull through these dark times, and also looking forward to Dispatch.
Another EXU DM'd by Brennan Lee "It's been one second now" Mulligan?! Sign me up!
Brennan is fast becoming the Robert Eggers of Exandria, and myself and my bloke tears are here for it
Celia Rose Gooding? They got freaking Uhura from Strange New Worlds? Holy shit, that's gonna be amazing
Unreasonably hyped for EXU Divergence!
Hey guys
I'm really looking forward to the finale, the mini-series and basically everything you just announced. :D Critical Role is such a bright light for me that has often saved me from dark days. I'm looking forward to the anniversary and what you have planned for us. You make this world better.
Praying for you all who are affected by the fires. Stay safe and much love from Florida. ❤
Y'all are truly the titans of worldbuilding and actual plays, and we are buckled up, popcorn and beers (some NA, of course) in hand, waiting for the finale, Divergence, and, of course, what we're hoping will be a whole heckin' whole lot more DAGGERHEART!
Our family is such big fans of Critical Role! We have had many discussions about the campaign and laugh, cry and just enjoy it all with you. You are all so creative, inspiring and talented. Thank you for all your hard work. Much love and support during this time.
I CAME HERE TO FIND OUT WHETHER OR NOT ROBBIE WILL BE AN OFFICIAL CAST MEMBER 😭
6 hours of deliberation of what to do with Predathos, 2.5 hours of enacting it
Critical role producers: “just make a promo for the upcoming content. No weird stuff; no cutaways or bits. That okay, guys?”
The cast: nods “yup … sure thing. So. A time-travel Terminator skit?”
I mena technically Marisha IS the producer. So it's mostly her, who is responsible for shit like this! :D
Excellent timing for a one shot. Thanks, we needed it; even while you’re handling IRL demands, you still are bringing us the good times.
It's been 10 years of CR already?! Damn.... I still remember when I watched the very first episode in the very early morning hours (from Europe)...
LIAM FINALLY GETS TO BE DM'd BY BRENNAN YEAH BOIIIIIII
I cannot wait, CR has truly been there for me when I needed it and I’m really excited to see what comes next!
Hopefully I will start to care about C4 like I did C1 (and most of C2). People are freaking out on the eight hours of the finale and I’m just adding that to the total time of not having watched campaign three at all.
I got 50 eps in and lost all momentum. Didn’t help that I discovered Dimension 20.
2:25 My jaw dropped
Mine too omg
I literally choked.
Ha I paused it and said holy shit 😂😅
When you said "longest episode yet" I thought maaaaaybe 7 hours, then you said 8+ omg I am HYPED
C3 finale announcement was predicted wasn't expecting 8 hours 50 minutes
Nothing about Campaign 4 but excited for Divergence
1:55 Oh so Campaign 4 is definitely going to be in a new setting.
New setting is okay, but if they swap out the cast I'm out. Unless it's Robbie becoming a full member, then I'm so in!
Either a new setting, or a loooonnnnnngggggg time skip after whatever events happen in the finale
Yeah it feels like this is a wrap on the current “Exandria” setting almost. I sure hope not but maybe
i think is gonna be exandria just... maybe not *called* exandria. Gods gone, the world rewritten.
@@DontahEntirely likely they’re just gonna fully move to Daggerheart. They’re already using the terminology anyway.
Holy cow 8.5 hours long is nuts. I really hope Matt touches on all of the disaster BH causes across the entire planet after banishing all of the gods.
Thank you to the whole Critical Role cast and crew and guests. In these difficult times you all have given a lot of the heartwarming connection and joy that we need to endure.
My money is on a new divergence, time skip, and switch from D&D to Daggerheart because D&D has been one PR nightmare atfer another for *years* now.
Welp, you got me. I was waiting to reach the cooldown episodes in my second pass through Bells Hells (I rushed the first time using abridged and critical recap) but I want to get into those juicy questions so I'm joining tonight ❤ thank you CR, you have been lovely
8 hour session?! We are so back.
When they said Brennan is returning for another miniseries I literally Wooohoo’ed out loud! Amazing!
Matt as young Ludinus in Divergence?
Oh definitely it would be a waste for someone not to be
OMG! I am so behind! I have to catch up! I am on Episode 96! UGH! NOOOOOOO! In all seriousness, thank you all for giving me an escape. I listen all the time (at work, clean my horse stalls, cleaning house, traveling to anywhere, etc.) to get away from current events and just want to survive the next 4 or more years. Keep up the great work! I hope you ALL (cast & crew) know how much you are appreciated and loved!
BUT WHAT ABOUT MY GUY ROBBIE DAYMOND?! ARE WE KEEPING HIM?! JUST SAY YES OR NO THE SITUATIONSHIP IS KILLING ME
that guy fucking sucks
💛👍 my heart goes out to L.A. Looking forward to the healing, escapism and the new friends, stories and adventures 2025 brings. Thanks to the Critters, the Cast and the Crew; you're all beautiful.
Crying for 8.5 hours is going to be deeply therapeutic for me
Please please please bring Robbie into the main cast 🙏🙏
Buckle up, critters.
It's gonna be on hell of a ride!❤
Thanks for the update, stay safe.
I don't want Bells Hells to end so soon! Come on! 😢
