The best place to get cheapest official Steam games is the Humble Bundle store: www.humblebundle.com/store?partner=coldbeerhd (my affiliate link). The prices are low because they buy keys in bundles, so they can offer totally legit original keys cheaper. And developers get paid fairly when you buy from Humble Store.
Thanks for making the list! I uploaded the video and went on a journey to another city literally 10 minutes later without my PC for a few days :) Had no means to fix this when I saw that I failed to put timestamps. Now I fixed the thing, but thanks for helping poor ColdBeer out in a time of need! ^^
Out of the newer releases there is also The Valiant which is pretty similar to Ancestors: Legacy (but worse) and Stronghold: Warlords. If we are talking about older games then: Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (aka Empire Earth 1.5), Empire Earth 2, Grand Ages: Rome, The Settlers 7, Knights of Honor, Kohan II: Kings of War No Man's Land: Fight for your Rights!, Castle Strike, Battle Realms, D&D: Dragonshard, American Conquest.
I was hoping for the Stronghold series (since 2001) which was my whole childhood playing with my father and brother, and is still unbeaten for me Sure still is pretty good to play in 2023 (even though I didn't like Stronghold 2 and after as much)
Hey man, I just wanna say, I like the sound of Lithuania (it has a nice ring to it and I feel like royalty when I'm saying it) and I like the civ when playing AoE 2.
Can somebody help me find an one old game? All I remember that it was like Age of empire or Empire earth and very specific things were black big tents (like a building) that you can capture. The tents were spawning (on their own) archers on horses as well as fighters on horses. First the tent was neutral, that means the tent was hostile to all players, if somebody captured it then it was his and was spawning his guys on horses. This wasn't the main mechanic of the game, but very fun little thing and I would like to play it again
It's abandonware, so if you enter "Armies of Exigo download" into google search bar you will be directed towards many websites where you can just download it for free without any problems (and that won't count as pirating)
None of them are like Age Of Empires and over time tried hard but can't finde anything, now when Definitive Editions released I don't even look for other games
@@ColdBeer 3-4 games are like age of empires, like 0ad, rise of nations and age of mythology. The rest of the games are different in many aspects, or they bare some similarities due to the RTS nature, at best. He is not wrong basically. Just because they are real time strategy games, it does not make them like age of empires. I mean, how is against the storm an age of empires game? They are not even in the same category. Same with total war. Most of the games listed are good games indeed, but most of them don't play like age of empires so perhaps you have missed the point. If i want an Age of Empires experience, most of these games will not substitute that experience. Even Ancestor Legacy which is not very far from age of empires, is still giving you a very different experience with combat locking units and buildings that are only placed in certain areas of the map. Those 2 differences make the game entirely different actually. Northguard is a RTS/4x hybrid that plays very differently as well. In age of empires micromanaging big armies/villagers and building anywhere you want all game long is everything. Northguard is very limited on its armies because it tries to make you play like a 4x game. Dune Spice wars which is the successor of Northguard, is the same as Northguard, RTS/4x Hybrid that does not rely heavily on APM to win games. Empire Earth and Empires of Modern World are two old games that fit the category for example.

@@ColdBeer what computer games of the strategy genre are created on the theme of the war between Ukraine and Russia in 23-24 or fashion?
Finally a list video which is not a autogenerated

I like the way you work “potato salad” into every video
I am a fan of this, also. I like a good potato salad!
Thanks for mentioning 0AD!
its the best game , in less than 10 minutes you can play with yhour friend and for free, its a beautiful proyect!
I'm afraid watching your new videos, I have too many games on wishlist 😅
A common problem for subscribers :)
Once upon a time, we have tons of games we want to play; now we have tons of games in library but no time to play.

Anno 1404 is unbeatable baby!
Looking for a more casual playing AOE2 style game with no timer , just to enjoy for free time .
Any Suggestions ?
I like your Lithuanian quotes/sayings.
For those that play Against the Storm, believe in Beaver Supremacy 👌
Is Armies of Exigo on Steam? I used to have a physical copy back in the day.
Against the Storm is the best
Make RTS games like StarCraft. Gates of Pyre is the number one on my list.
th-cam.com/video/RH_Q2GiXdqg/w-d-xo.html
I would also recommend BattleRealms.
Love that game

Hmmm... Maybe Cossacks: European Wars?
Sad they didn't continue developing new Rise of Nations games.
Armies of exigo is Starcraft to medieval.
Where "Tzar - The Burden of the Crown"?
Too old
It's strategy game sale week!
Where I can find “Armies of Exigo” digitally?

In thailand bad dancer dont blame the drum and beat
Where is the stronghold crusader
Missing game list in notes?
Ancestors is pretty cool.
Spellforce is a great series but it is easy to hit an impassible roadblock.
Couldnt find Exigo on Steam. Aom def edition smokes!
It isn't sold anywhere digitally, hopefully GOG could get it sometime.
cossacks 3 is a great game
Does anyone else know the game?
America No Peace Beyond the line
Can someone tell me how to get rise of Nations for free

"None of them are like Age of Empires"
First game in the list - literally an Age of Empires clone 🤡

@@KolopaperYou are right, I agreed.
Why can’t mobile games be like this?
