      So you take them fishing to show them the ropes? Or they pay you? I've never fished the ocean in my life. Coming up this week. If you live local and are going to be around some pointers on fishing the ocean what to target this time of year would be greatly appreciated. I'm from Kentucky I'm a great outdoors man I catch giant catfish. But would like to take full advantage of the week I'll be down there. I'll be staying close to pineapple willilys. Thanks @@TheLawlessTide

    I stay in Rosemary for 2 weeks in the summer and 2 weeks in Feb but wanted to come down in Oct and stay in PCB for a long weekend of nothing but fishing. Where is this in PCB? What public access beach? I'm just curious where to stay, what's near a bait store, etc.

    I’m going to be in PCB October 1-8. Would a pompano rig be good to target reds? Fish bites and cut shrimp? I’ve fished the surf a few times but didn’t have much success.

      Mainly depends on the size of bait.

    • @TheLawlessTide
      @TheLawlessTide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well the June grass is here , so it will make fishing in the surf a real challenge. Fishbites and live sand fleas is my bait of choice for surf fishing. I like 15lb braid and if you are using bait you just need to match your hook to the size of the bait you are using.

    - Jude

    • @TheLawlessTide
      @TheLawlessTide  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mosquitos for sure, lol. August is one of the toughest months to fish because of the heat and June grass, if it's around. There should still be some pompano around and some reds and drum still cruising the beach. Early and late in day should be some schooling Pelagius chasing bait that can come into casting range.
