Kyle Sanders I know that’s the song the played, but I meant after Surfacing, ‘Til We Die was played over the speakers even though the band wasn’t performing it live. They usually play ‘Til We Die at the end after the last song they perform.
I mean his dad is a world famous drummer too. He's the longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the former drummer for Conan's show band. But I'm sure he's proud of his son nonetheless :)
I used to watch conan 20 years ago. Max would talk about taking his son to ozzfest and other metal shows.8 remember slipknot playing on the show. It makes me feel so happy to know what a good dad jay had. Gave him the world with two wooden sticks
MrB4MV101 I figured you knew. lol They give him sticks just for throwing into the crowd. It’s marketing. You want ppl to know the biggest artist in the game use your brand.
Started with Jay being a fan and then Max took him go see the KnoT and met them.... fast forward he's playing for them! 1 in a million chance right there man.
Have only seen them live once back in 2000. It was insane. Their onstage antics were nothing short of amazing and terrifying. I can't believe they are still going strong. Long live and fester.
How incredibly cool. That's like fairy tale stuff, you dad is the drummer for Bruce Speingsteen, has an incredible job drumming on TV. You grow up drumming and loving it, and get to join your favorite band to sadly have to replace one of your idols but not only do the man justice but keep the core of the music destroying 40,000 people a night with joy. FUCK YEAH!!!! Keep rocking young man, we love you!
Awesome vid I was at this ! 102 row e (5 th row) slipknot show #22 . From ozzfest 99, convention hall, birch hill etc. very cool vid thanks for posting
Haha I was there. First Slipknot show for my friend and I. I've heard a lot of people say the crowd here was pretty dead, but it didn't feel like that in person. Great show and pretty cool that Max Weinberg came out on stage with Jay
Orenthal Simpson its how the drummer was introduced to the band, jay weinberg met them when he was about 10 when slipknot played heretic anthem on conan search it up, theres pics of it on google
Thomas Andrews he left the conan show for awhile for bruce's band yeah, but he went back to conan lol that was like a side project, hes more known for being on the conan show
The older I get the more I like the idea of an immortal entity named Slipknot. I think I saw Corey talk about it once and I honestly think this is the band to do it.
DangOl'johnnypoopoopants it wouldn’t be slipknot anymore it’s already slowly falling apart I think they should leave what they made behind for all of us to remember. It’ll be more special. I feel it’d be dragged on and people would care less after a little
This is the most likely band to do it. But for that to ever be a reality. Corey would need a proper successor (As Jay has been for Joey) you can't have slipknot without the driving force of Corey's voice
I absofuckinglutely LOVE and MISS Joey Jordanson from the bottom of my heart BUT Slipknot couldn't have found a more perfect addition to their family than Jay Weinberg.....HANDS FUCKING DOWN! God mode has definitely been reached in every single bit of Jay's drumming and in my opinion it needed to happen cause of the shoes he had to fill with Max Weinberg being his father, one of the greatest overall drummers ever in any and every genre!
I fucking love slipknot but I cant be the only one who finds it hilarious that corey is screaming sounding all badass while saying TAKE CARE OF YOURSLEVES, TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER, AND GOOD... NIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTTTT 4:27
it might push you off if I say it, but Korn was the most influential band in the last 30 years. listen to the first slipknot album, that funky metal rythym, down tuned guitars, that tight ass fuxking snare drum. I love Sliipknot, but if it weremt for Korn, some of these guys might of not developed their style. Korna first album was 2003, Slipknots was 7 years later?(I refuse to google, because I'm old) love you maggots
It makes me sad to see how dead they are on stage now. I know they are older, but it's shocking how tame they are now. At least the music still is, and always will be great.
Corey's mask is atrocious. Is the intention of the mask to look like a bloated body that's been pulled out of a river. Because if it is, he's nailing it!
Nice of Max Weinberg to quickly change out of his Tortilla Man costume to take a pic with his boy.
Wait until people take this seriously
Jeremiah already found one below you
@@andy_182 Right when I said it lol
The tape on Max's left arm confirms he played the set as Tortilla Man. Lol
I don't think Max is Tortilla man XD
P.S. I noticed this has became some sort of "I'm howtobasic!" thing but with Tortilla man
"So what props do you want on stage?"

Can you imagine how proud of his son he is? My dad would be shitting diamonds the moment I told him I won the audition to join Slipknot.
I mean his dad is a world famous drummer too. He's the longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the former drummer for Conan's show band.
But I'm sure he's proud of his son nonetheless :)
Agreed. Max and Jay are two great dude's/drummers. I'm sure his dad is super proud to carry on the family drumming legacy.
Watch the interview with Max on TH-cam about it. Hes stupid proud!!
I’m absolutely sure he’s very proud, but keep in mind that guy plays with Springsteen himself lol
Ohno
Anyone notice when corey said make noise for Gojira, Jay played the drum part for Silvera

Man I wish I was there for this show. What a performance. Both sick drummers.
CapeCodMetal it was fuckin insane
Being a father and all he must be super proud of his son being the drummer to one of the best bands in the world!
biginkman especially with jay being a huge slipknot fan as a kid. Must be so so proud, a huge accomplishment.
Yah he's also a supportive dad.

1.awesome music

I have yet to see them... I need too soon!!!
Same, in finland next february
March 29 Philippines and for sure it's cancelled
Max is a great, great drummer. So is his boy. Can't wait to see the band in Glasgow next January.

1 in a million? I highly doubt it. Max more than likely played a big part of him getting that job. It's a business and everybody knows how they work
