Great video. Make it look easy. Putting it back together is always the fun part. Is it possible to change the seal in the top of the heat exchanger outlet without having to remove the flue or heat exchanger? On a potterton promax he plus? Thanks
How long will it take to do this on a potterton titanium 28 and does the engineer only need to have access to the boiler and no other part of the house? I can’t have a covid injection because of health reasons so I’m very worried about having to have this done. Any help/ info would be much appreciated. Kind regards.
Be Nice to have the Orings and Washers in the Box if Replacing a part. Only thing that let's the Brand down IMHO parts replacement can be a ballache if you don't forward plan and think what you'll disturb. Other than that very easy boilers to work on
Baxi part 248012 doesn't seem to be the top o'ring - it looks like insulation. Can you check and amend please. Great vid - possibly one of my jobs next week.
Any chance of you guys doing a video of how to remove a Remeha Avanta Plus heat exchanger? I’ve got one to change in a couple of weeks and there’s no procedure for parts replacement in the MI’s. Any assistance would be appreciated 😀👍. Great videos by the way, keep up the good work!
Is the hex dropping down from the flue turret when the top clamp is removed ? On video it just seems to slide out but obviously won't as flue connection fits inside
I see this question has been asked several times and not answered. I did this job today and that drip tray adapter literally pushes up and the hex slides out. Saying that it doesn't push up as easily as it shows in the video, it took me ages to get the adapter to go up enough to slide the hex out because there are rubber seal. When I put the new hex in, it took ages pushing it down again even thou I had put lots of grease on. It was hard getting it low enough to get that holding bracket back in. The whole job was easy apart from this bit.
Hi I did the job but I can’t get the drip tray down enough to slide the locking bracket in . Help will be greatly appreciated . When I push the tray down it seem to spring back up .
This is why baxi are the best

Brilliant video. Love a training Tuesday 👏👏👏

He won’t need access to nothing else just needs to be at the boiler
@@saifullahhussain4850 Thank you. It’s all done now. Cheers.
Great information thanks
Great video, no messing about, thanks!
Worcester need to watch and learn, thats how to design a boiler.

True, none of the baxi parts have any foresight
Brilliant video. I love watching and learning from these. Do you have fault finding courses anywhere in the North East??

Great video. When you push the drip tray up is that lifting the turret from the hex. I'm assuming hex can't be removed with flue elbow in place
Hi Anthony, there is no need to remove, or even touch, the flue elbow to remove the heat exchanger.
How does the hex seal to flue turret can't just be a slide fit
Any chance of a close up of how hex seals to the turret can't just be a slide fit what seals to flue
Is it possible to clean the plate heat exchanger in place on. Duo tex 28 He boiler?
