I find that only ever happens on one side with my machines and if you run them in from the other side for whatever reason they just stop doing it. After I did that with my slash and my bandit neither one of them I've had a problem and I've had my 2 wheel drive slash for 5 years now

Are there kingpins for the caster blocks? I noticed that when I hit a pole on my front end, it popped out of the castor block. Which is a hassle when it's just the stock vertical pin.
You can just reverse the pins that are backing out. Instead of them screwed in through the front, screw them in from the back of the arm. But just do it on the ones that back out otherwise you will just move the problem to the other side

Grayson popped a stock pin on his stampede and we used the bigger slash pins and haven’t had an issue since
Interesting!
Had used the strc, are a great product, now I know how to do the e clip ones,as always great how to video, thanks
Glad to help! Thanks for the support!
as you say a design fault seems a no choice upgrade
*full view every time🤖Au💯👍thumbs up👍*
Thank you 👍
Great update / upgrade and install demo. 👍🏼
Thanks!
good job💪👍😁
Thanks!
@@RoadsideRC 👍😁
Strc makes good stuff I like there products. Thanks for sharing buddy 💯👍
I agree! Have had good luck with their parts.
I had to super glue and shim my rear hinge pins on my slash lol 😂
Oh man! Super glue!
maybe consider getting/putting the front arm fiberglass brace back in place too. part# TRA2532
Didn't show it in the video, as it fell out when I wasn't looking. Found it and out it back in after the video.
Good info..are those lockup tires?
The tires are some Amazon cheapo. Don't remember the name, sorry.
@@RoadsideRC Look like lockups tho.. Pretty nice
Can you make a video on everything you need to make a drift car
Yes! Here you go: th-cam.com/video/4-XKFoO-fO0/w-d-xo.html

Traxxas told me on the phone this design flaw was my opinion. Happens on my Rustler Ultimate every time I run it. 😂
"Opinion" that EVERYONE who has driven these knows is a problem. Sorry they told you that.
the link to the pins didn't work for me

I don't think there is. That does suck though.
Do you have a link or info for that screwdriver?
Sure! They discontinued the exact model I was using - but this one is similar: amzn.to/3qIOEXn
I use the MIP speed tips with it: amzn.to/3X3Np0S
@@RoadsideRC thank you
😁😁👍👍
You actually don't need to buy a hinge pin kit. You can just screw them in from a different direction: th-cam.com/video/_xvy263iGcU/w-d-xo.html
Oh - that is shenanigans. The screws bind and back out. Doesn't matter which direction they are put in!
temporarily fix it until they back out the other way
I've tried both directions, it doesn't really seem to work for me

I'm not sure how that would actually help? The pin would still bind and back out...
link for pins does not work
