They said to officers and family and community. All have suffered a blow. It's a small community that knew these young people. The families of these young men also will be laying awake wondering how this nightmare will end. The officers will have to go over the evidence closely finding details to solve this case. This will warrant any prayers they can get to get through this tragedy.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure they looked into it but the father not having his phone is unfortunate. Idk if he's married and the phone call from his son was witnessed. He could have committed the crime, called his phone that he left at the house from his sons phone, thrown his sons phone since they had trouble finding it. Then went to the store. It would be easy to confirm his alibi though by checking pings and even whether he answered the call from his son. I doubt he did it but when something like this happens you reach for answers anywhere. But I'm sure they would have checked his alibi by now even though he's the father you just never know.

If I was forced to give an possible motive, it would be that the suspects and victims knew each other somehow. How well, I would not speculate.motive being a ongoing riff.
Also, it was a remote area.. out by cow pastures and orange groves.. possible that they may not have been able to get a ping on anything. Reception in those areas are horrible.. out in a backwoods area. Basically
You can only see which towers a phone hit. The tower in that area could have 1000 pings during that time. That tower could serve a large area, so there’s no way of saying a person was in that area rather than a mile away pinging the same tower.
They can't just ping at random. That would constitute a warrantless search, and violate rights. Now, if they have a suspect, they can get a warrant an ping their phones.
$30,000 should bring the rats out of the sewer...some people would sell their own mother for less and this is an impoverished area so they'll be in jail in a matter of days.

I’m glad Brandon had the strength to call his dad. I can only imagine how comforting it was for him to hear the voice of his dad before he passed. He hung on to life just long enough to tell his dad the events that unfolded on that horrific night.
I’m glad he didn’t call 911. His last moments would’ve been someone he doesn’t know asking him over and over again, where are you? Do you need police fire or ems? What’s your name? Spell it for me etc.
His dad was the perfect person to call. He may have watched his son die but he will play a PIVOTAL role in getting justice for this 3 young men!
Yeah, but I feel so bad for that man. His heart is broken, and the pain is so clear on his face and in his voice. As a parent, I don't even want to imagine.

I wondered if it was a bit excessive to carry my pistol on me when fishing, but between bears, mountain lions, poachers, and random psychos, I think I'm gonna continue carrying my gun on me when fishing. Won't make much difference if I get ambushed, but if I see trouble approaching, best to have some means of resistance.
