- This video shows the day in the life of a medical assistant working in Cardiology. I only work in this office on a PRN basis. If any of you are wondering why I have on different scrubs/hair, this is because it is so busy in this office that I was not able to complete it the first time I tried lol… So I had to finish it the next time I went into the office.

I’ve been following you for a little bit not (subscriber) as well. I wanted to know what it’s like working as a medical assistant in developmental/ behavioral pediatrics. I’m not a MA never did any MA work before but was hired for a MA position in Developmental for $20 an hour I’m excited 😊😅
Oh wow really congrats on your new job :) I’ve actually never worked in that field, but I have worked in pediatrics. I imagine that working in behavioral health requires even more patience and skill. See if you can find some videos on the topic here on TH-cam
I’ve been looking for videos for developmental I can’t seem to find anything I always come cross your videos lol only. I’ll be a MA in Developmental I want be on the behavior side. Thank you very much. Your videos are very helpful and informative. I will try to find out what’s it’s like working in that area. And I seen a video of you once when you mentioned about people that have been arrested getting a MA Job just so some people can know ITS POSSIBLE BECAUSE IM AT THE BEST COMPANY IN MY CITY IN FL AND I WAS ARRESTED AND SPENT 3 weeks in jail for a felony and a misdemeanor and I told the truth and was hired. I start Jun 26 and my background check came back and I’m doing my drug screening tb and things today. DONT GIVE UP 🤞🏾☺️

@@ladyg33z1 it depends on how the office is set up because in both specialties, you could be doing a lot of work. I would say in my experience, cardiology has been easier, because when I was working in OB/GYN, I was assisting with procedures. And sometimes that caused me to be behind with bringing back patients because I was in the room with the doctor. In Cardiology, they don’t need me to assist in the room with anything. Again, it depends on the office you are working in because it could be set up different. But this has been my experience between the two.
